:00:14. > :00:18.following a fire at a flat in Northampton.

:00:19. > :00:20.Crews were called in the early hours of this morning.

:00:21. > :00:23.A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson.

:00:24. > :00:29.Hours after the blaze broke out at this first-floor flat,

:00:30. > :00:34.Inside, police say the damage is extensive.

:00:35. > :00:36.Two people were rescued from the property at four

:00:37. > :00:40.Four fire crews were here at the scene,

:00:41. > :00:47.And those people in surrounding flats today exhausted

:00:48. > :00:50.after being woken up by the fire during the night

:00:51. > :00:54.There was a gentleman hanging out the window,

:00:55. > :00:59.He jumped out the window and then more fire brigade turned up.

:01:00. > :01:02.A lot of these people got evacuated out of their houses,

:01:03. > :01:06.and then the police went round trying to bash the door in.

:01:07. > :01:08.They couldn't bash it in for a little while,

:01:09. > :01:11.and then they must have got the girl out of there.

:01:12. > :01:16.Yeah, it was really frightening, actually, yeah because it's a quiet

:01:17. > :01:20.It's just horrible to see all the elderly women having to get

:01:21. > :01:22.out of their houses at that time of night.

:01:23. > :01:24.Police say a 20-year-old woman is being treated

:01:25. > :01:27.for serious injuries at Northampton General Hospital

:01:28. > :01:33.and that a 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson.

:01:34. > :01:36.Residents have now been allowed to return to their homes.

:01:37. > :01:38.The investigation, meanwhile, continues.

:04:16. > :04:18.Patchy cloud coming and going, thickening up towards the early

:04:19. > :04:21.hours, and the breeze is going to be picking up as well.

:04:22. > :04:24.I think temperatures at their lowest, something like five degrees.

:04:25. > :04:27.And we start tomorrow with a mixture of cloud,

:04:28. > :04:30.but some bright and sunny spells coming and going throughout the day.

:04:31. > :04:33.Bit of a breeze blowing in from the west, but temperatures

:04:34. > :04:36.will be comfortably in double figures and it will feel quite

:04:37. > :04:38.pleasant in the best of the sunny spells.

:04:39. > :04:41.I can't produce too much sunshine throughout this week.

:04:42. > :04:44.There will be a fair amount of cloud, a little on the breezy
