0:01:50 > 0:01:55to spot a small sign of the destruction.

0:01:55 > 0:01:58That is because the only small sign is a plaque on this

0:01:58 > 0:02:00bench which is believed to have been stolen.

0:02:04 > 0:02:07Four years ago in an office move at Clacton Town Hall, an old Post

0:02:11 > 0:02:15It was the Air Disaster Relief Fund and the ?243, 13 shillings and

0:02:15 > 0:02:24sixpence had lain forgotten for nearly 70 years.

0:02:24 > 0:02:26It is now worth ?1700 and that money plus 10,000 from

0:02:26 > 0:02:30the council will pay for a proper Memorial.

0:02:30 > 0:02:32We thought it could be something that can be done a

0:02:32 > 0:02:33lot better now.

0:02:33 > 0:02:37It was only when we found the money we got the idea.

0:02:37 > 0:02:40We're going to look at a new bench, a memorial with a plaque on it, some

0:02:40 > 0:02:45hard landscaping and some planting.

0:02:45 > 0:02:48The memorial will be ready in time for a ceremony on April 30, the 77th
