:00:17. > :00:22.A fight involving around 20 people broke out in Brentwood High Street.

:00:23. > :00:25.A car then struck three people, leaving one with serious injuries.

:00:26. > :00:31.An eyewitness described it as terrifying.

:00:32. > :00:35.Today, police were carrying out interviews after a hit and run

:00:36. > :00:39.incident outside the Sugar Hut nightclub in Brentwood.

:00:40. > :00:42.It happened around 3am this morning when officers were called

:00:43. > :00:46.to a disturbance outside the venue following a fight which was

:00:47. > :00:49.happening in the street, involving a group of around 20 people.

:00:50. > :00:53.I don't really know what started the fighting.

:00:54. > :00:56.The fight broke out which escalated to about 50

:00:57. > :00:59.or 60 people at one time. Two or three people looked

:01:00. > :01:02.as if they were quite badly hurt during that time.

:01:03. > :01:05.I phoned the police and the ambulance.

:01:06. > :01:09.I saw one guy that went down, it looked like he was unconscious

:01:10. > :01:12.and got dragged off the street. There was another guy that

:01:13. > :01:14.went down, he looked like he was quite seriously hurt.

:01:15. > :01:16.He stayed down for quite some minutes until the

:01:17. > :01:19.paramedics got there. Then the police arrived.

:01:20. > :01:21.I was probably watching the fight for about 15 minutes.

:01:22. > :01:24.Essex Police say two men and one woman were taken to hospital.

:01:25. > :01:28.One with serious injuries after being struck by a blue Audi.

:01:29. > :01:32.Their condition is believed not to be life-threatening.

:01:33. > :01:35.Police are now appealing to anyone who witnessed or filmed the incident

:01:36. > :01:43.on their mobiles to get in contact by calling 101.

:01:44. > :01:45.A man has been charged following a robbery in Essex
