:00:10. > :00:17.Good evening. Hopes that cutting more than 100 speed limits will

:00:44. > :00:52.

:00:52. > :00:54.manager? Hundreds of stretches of roared

:00:54. > :01:03.across East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire are having the speed

:01:03. > :01:08.limits reduced. Many villages will see 40 limits drop to 30. North

:01:08. > :01:13.Lincolnshire Council is introducing 67 speed changes. Bestriding is

:01:13. > :01:22.reducing the limit in Bharti places. In Lincolnshire, all A and B roads

:01:22. > :01:29.are being reviewed. This is one of the of UK's most

:01:30. > :01:35.dangerous roads. This stretch saw 67 accidents, 31 serious injuries

:01:35. > :01:45.and four deaths. Little wonder it is part of the UK wind speed of you.

:01:45. > :01:46.

:01:46. > :01:56.In North Lincolnshire, that review is complete. You get lorries and

:01:56. > :02:01.cars and some cars coming this way, the speed something terrible.

:02:01. > :02:06.should be educating people rather than speed limits. North

:02:06. > :02:14.Lincolnshire Council has decided to change the limit. They are or where

:02:20. > :02:26.now come up with what we think will be a better set of speed limits.

:02:26. > :02:31.The national speed limit on rural roared. Five years ago, the

:02:31. > :02:41.Government charge local authorities with the reviewing the speeds. Many

:02:41. > :02:42.

:02:42. > :02:52.argued that changes needed to be made. But Theddlethorpe Road is

:02:52. > :02:58.

:02:58. > :03:03.under review. What we are doing is putting up numbers and pitting safe

:03:03. > :03:09.drivers into the grip of offenders. One rod where speed is going up is

:03:09. > :03:15.a hall and bypass in north Lincolnshire. He it is going from

:03:15. > :03:19.30 to 60. Other changes to roads will be phased in over the next few

:04:11. > :04:16.that naturist DVDs of children sold by a company in East Yorkshire me

:04:16. > :04:21.be indecent. The professor of law at the University of Langton says

:04:21. > :04:25.that scenes which show some girls naked could be breaking the law.

:04:25. > :04:33.The company says it affects all its titles and does not think they are

:04:33. > :04:35.indecent. From a small offices in Goole in

:04:35. > :04:43.East Yorkshire, New Freedom Publications runs a website selling

:04:43. > :04:49.naturist DVDs among dozens on sale at some costing 40. He shows naked

:04:49. > :04:53.children playing, climbing rope ladders etc. Showing nakedness does

:04:53. > :05:00.not break the lock but Professor of lock Richard Stone thought these

:05:00. > :05:08.films might. If the pictures are showing genitals, that becomes more

:05:08. > :05:14.likely to be indecent. Would you consider this indecent? I think

:05:14. > :05:24.some bits of it we that focuses on the genitals can be regarded as

:05:24. > :05:26.

:05:26. > :05:30.indecent yes. Naturist Freedom centres this document. It also says

:05:30. > :05:39.that their cages done in a sensitive way. For years, naturists

:05:39. > :05:44.have been filmed. This is naturism as the nudist likes to see it. We

:05:44. > :05:48.asked someone from British naturism how unusual it is to film children

:05:49. > :05:54.are that is very unusual because the law is so beak because no one

:05:54. > :05:58.knows what is legal to film. I have had conversations with naturist

:05:58. > :06:03.families who have complained that they are not allowed to have

:06:03. > :06:08.photographs, or they feel they are not allowed to have photographs of

:06:08. > :06:13.their children doing normal things. Health and efficiency did not want

:06:13. > :06:19.to speak to us but its parent company new freedom gave us a

:06:19. > :06:24.statement. It said, the company vet all DVDs for suitability before

:06:24. > :06:30.supplying them and has rejected summit felt inappropriate. It says

:06:30. > :06:40.there is nothing inherently immoral or harmful about naturist videos.

:06:40. > :06:44.It added that whether run DVD is indecent is open to interpretation.

:06:44. > :06:53.One veteran child protection campaigner agrees. Esther Rantzen

:06:53. > :06:58.who set up the Childline charity. do not think they dwell on

:06:58. > :07:03.children's private parts. It does not have a nasty feel. I would

:07:03. > :07:07.allow it to be sold if I were a judge but thank heavens I am not a

:07:07. > :07:12.judge because of paedophiles got hold of it, they would watch it for

:07:12. > :07:15.the wrong reasons. Trading standards is investigating whether

:07:16. > :07:25.the title should have been examined by the British Board of Film

:07:40. > :07:45.An inquest into the death of a 23- year-old man following a night out

:07:45. > :07:50.in Lincoln has heard that bouncers used their feet to restrain him.

:07:50. > :07:56.William Pleasants from Cambridge Show was found unconscious outside

:07:56. > :08:02.their Engine Shed in 2008. He died three days later. Witnesses said he

:08:13. > :08:17.primary school. Of rat ten-year period, Jacqueline Macintyre used

:08:17. > :08:23.money from Trent Primary School near Lincoln to pay her bills and

:08:23. > :08:28.credit card. She used blank cheques to pay a self-starter 1000 pines.

:08:28. > :08:33.The court has heard evidence from the father of a man from Grimsby

:08:33. > :08:37.who was killed and dismembered. Keith Vincent said his son brought

:08:37. > :08:43.down and said he was frightened three weeks before his death. Five

:08:43. > :08:53.men are on trial for murder and a six for four perverting the court

:08:53. > :08:55.

:08:55. > :08:59.of justice. What did he tell the court? He said he saw his son in

:08:59. > :09:04.the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby in February. He

:09:04. > :09:12.said Adam was poorly with pneumonia and he told his son he had to take

:09:12. > :09:17.-- stop taking drugs. The reply he got was that his son had issues to

:09:17. > :09:27.resolve. He said he could not tell his father who he was in trouble

:09:27. > :09:31.

:09:31. > :09:38.with because they would come looking for him. When he was cross-

:09:38. > :09:48.examined, the QC asked why he could not turn to his family. Keith

:09:48. > :09:49.

:09:49. > :09:56.Vincent said he was too frightened. Three weeks later, he was dead. The

:09:56. > :10:00.trial of the six man from Grimsby continues. The former chief

:10:00. > :10:06.executive of Lincolnshire's hospitals has accepted a pay out

:10:06. > :10:10.ahead of an industrial tribunal. Gary Walker was sacked in February

:10:10. > :10:20.and has reached an agreement. Officials have declined to say how

:10:20. > :10:21.

:10:21. > :10:31.much was paid. Still ahead, campaigners called for

:10:31. > :10:44.

:10:44. > :10:54.the Government to do more to This photo was taken by eight Steve

:10:54. > :11:19.

:11:19. > :11:29.I am very well. It is a dull and dreary one. There

:11:29. > :11:39.will be some form. It will be similar to last week. High pressure

:11:39. > :11:44.in charge. On Thursday, there will be a change. There should be some

:11:44. > :11:52.brightness towards the end of the week. Look at the extent of the

:11:52. > :12:01.cloud. It is not going to shift in a hurry. If anything, the cloud

:12:01. > :12:11.will thicken. There will be some drizzle. It is very mild foreign

:12:11. > :12:14.

:12:14. > :12:22.night time temperature. The sun will rise in the morning. High

:12:22. > :12:32.water times are there. It is another straightforward forecast,

:12:32. > :12:33.

:12:33. > :12:43.or were cast skies. As we head to the second part of the day, it will

:12:43. > :12:51.

:12:51. > :13:01.brighten. The breeze and the south- east. Very mild for November. Abdul

:13:01. > :13:04.

:13:04. > :13:11.You reckon if you try 400 miles, you are safe. But you are still not

:13:11. > :13:17.safe. You were off on Friday as well, when two. I saw that one in

:13:17. > :13:22.Magor Luther! Now, let us get back to our top

:13:22. > :13:26.story: More than 100 new speed limits are being introduced in the

:13:26. > :13:36.Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Many places will seat speed limits

:13:36. > :13:38.

:13:38. > :13:44.job to 30 in an effort to me to government targets.

:13:44. > :13:50.Good evening. Good evening. Local authorities were told in 2006 to

:13:50. > :13:57.look at speed limits on their roads. Five years on, all at Aand be mac

:13:57. > :14:05.roads are under review. Some of that work has been completed and

:14:05. > :14:09.certain villages and made roads have been -- have had their speed

:14:09. > :14:16.limits changed. When you hear this story tonight about speed limits

:14:16. > :14:21.being reduced, presumably welcome this with open arms? Yes, we do.

:14:21. > :14:26.Speed limits of change, sometimes they are a increased, and it is

:14:26. > :14:29.meted with safety. Reducing the speed limit is not always

:14:29. > :14:35.appropriate, sometimes it is appropriate to raise that speed

:14:35. > :14:42.limit. The A18 is of particular concern. Would lowering the speed

:14:42. > :14:46.limit their actually help? Possibly, in some cases. There are a lot of

:14:47. > :14:54.interventions that can be carried out on that particular road that

:14:54. > :15:00.would, perhaps, help. As you mentioned before, there are four

:15:00. > :15:06.fatal collisions that have occurred on that road. Many more incidents,

:15:06. > :15:12.over 50, have occurred there. 38 of those have been for other reasons.

:15:12. > :15:16.That is excessive speed, loss of control and other such reasons.

:15:16. > :15:21.That is not about the road itself, that is about the driver. We need

:15:21. > :15:27.to look at the driver before we look at the roads as well. The two

:15:27. > :15:32.go hand in hand. We need to look at educational methods to try and tell

:15:33. > :15:37.drivers how to behave on the road. Thank you.

:15:37. > :15:41.Now, for conservationists, places like Spurn Head, Donna Nook and

:15:41. > :15:44.Gibraltar Point are some of the most important in the UK. But they

:15:44. > :15:47.are worried that a Government announcement to be made in the next

:15:47. > :15:50.few days will see East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire coastline missing

:15:50. > :15:58.out on getting the special protection they have been

:15:58. > :16:02.campaigning for. It may be hard to believe that just

:16:02. > :16:07.under the surface the North Sea is home to way hidden world of marine

:16:07. > :16:11.life, that many of us never see. Conservationists say the area needs

:16:11. > :16:16.to be protected from the unseen damage done by pollution and

:16:16. > :16:21.overfishing. It is home to a whole range of different species, all

:16:22. > :16:28.living on the sea floor. They're quite fragile, prone to damage. But

:16:28. > :16:33.also this area is a perfect place for fish to come and spawn. Unique

:16:33. > :16:39.habitats like Spurn Point were to become part of a unique network of

:16:39. > :16:45.conservation zones. Flamborough Head and Gibraltar Point were to be

:16:45. > :16:50.highly protected. Other areas included sections of the East

:16:50. > :16:55.Yorkshire and Lincolnshire coast. Now, only a fraction of these areas

:16:55. > :16:57.could go ahead because of a lack of scientific evidence. We are quite

:16:57. > :17:03.concerned, across England around one million people have been

:17:03. > :17:12.involved and it has cost the Government around 8.8 million. We

:17:12. > :17:15.are convinced that we can bring our seas up to health in one generation.

:17:15. > :17:19.Sea users are backing the plans, even though it could mean more

:17:19. > :17:24.restrictions on commercial activities in some areas.

:17:24. > :17:28.stocks are really getting depleted and something needs to be done.

:17:28. > :17:32.is a delicate balance to strike between the needs of man and nature.

:17:32. > :17:39.We need good scientific evidence about what is happening in the sea,

:17:39. > :17:46.and what we are doing it. Not just the fishermen, but other industries.

:17:46. > :17:51.Places like Spurn Point could be unprotected. As you can see, this

:17:51. > :17:56.is a busy shipping way but it all takes its toll on marine life. We

:17:56. > :18:00.will find out later this week which of the sides, if any, get the

:18:00. > :18:06.protection conservationists say they desperately need.

:18:06. > :18:11.Let us hope they do. The new Bishop of Lincoln has begun his first

:18:11. > :18:21.official week in the job. The Right Reverend Christopher Lowson was in

:18:21. > :18:27.thrown at the Cathedral on Saturday. -- in throned at the cathedral. He

:18:27. > :18:30.says is hard work begins now. not going to be sitting in up an

:18:30. > :18:36.office, or a steady, musing on the meaning of life. I'm going to be

:18:36. > :18:46.out in the community getting to know people. Anything I do have to

:18:46. > :18:47.

:18:47. > :18:54.say as the leader of the community will be coerced inexperience.

:18:54. > :18:58.Used think you know who the new Hull City manager will be?

:18:58. > :19:02.Barmby is likely to take on the role as a caretaker initially with

:19:02. > :19:06.a view to becoming the permanent manager should Nigel Pearson its

:19:06. > :19:09.departure to Leicester be confirmed. He will be the First Hull bond

:19:09. > :19:18.manager of the club and those supporters seem to be welcoming the

:19:18. > :19:21.news. The name of Nick Barmby is every bit as synonymous with Hull

:19:22. > :19:25.as fish and chips. Most of the diners at one fish-and-

:19:25. > :19:31.chip emporium today were smacking their lips at the prospect of

:19:31. > :19:39.Barmby's appointment. He deserves it. He is the longest serving

:19:39. > :19:42.player there. The I think it is a good idea, I like him. I do not

:19:42. > :19:47.think he has got enough experience to takeover. I think he would do

:19:47. > :19:52.well if he was number two. But I do not think he would be good enough,

:19:52. > :19:56.to be honest, because he has not got enough experience as a manager.

:19:56. > :20:02.Nick Barmby is the most decorated Hull City player of modern times.

:20:02. > :20:08.He was part of an England team that famously beat Germany 5-1. He

:20:08. > :20:12.played for top clubs including Liverpool and at -- Everton.

:20:13. > :20:16.Appointing him as manager would be a gamble. Anyone you appoint as

:20:16. > :20:20.manager it is a gamble, and the first time for anyone is a gamble,

:20:20. > :20:24.but he has got such a lot of experience from the past, working

:20:24. > :20:31.under big managers at the clubs he has been at. He could become a

:20:31. > :20:40.brilliant manager. Nick Barmby's appointment will be confirmed once

:20:40. > :20:45.the current manager's departure is a completed. His next challenge may

:20:45. > :20:51.be to repeat the feat as Hull City manager.

:20:51. > :20:56.How much of Eriskay is it? It is always a gamble. Key to get an

:20:56. > :20:58.experienced No. 2 to nurse him through.

:20:58. > :21:03.Scunthorpe United and Grimsby Town know who they could play in the

:21:03. > :21:07.second round of the FA Cup. United will go to Bradford City if they

:21:07. > :21:14.win the replay with a of see Wimbledon. The Mariners will play

:21:14. > :21:17.Salsbury city if they get past the two opponents Port Vale.

:21:17. > :21:22.The city of Hull has moved to the top of the pecking order for when

:21:22. > :21:27.the host cities are announced for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup. It

:21:27. > :21:37.follows the KC Stadium's hosting of the New Zealand against England

:21:37. > :21:38.

:21:38. > :21:42.game. England! This is what the world Cup

:21:42. > :21:48.committee wanted to see, stream after stream of fans heading to the

:21:48. > :21:54.city for what turned out to be one of the matches of the season. Right

:21:55. > :22:04.from the start, to the way the KC Stadium was prepared, has propelled

:22:04. > :22:09.Hull forward. There are two fine clubs here, there is a fine club

:22:09. > :22:13.over the river. At the end of the day, I think we have got a deadline

:22:13. > :22:18.and a timetable to work to, but I think it would be a major surprise

:22:18. > :22:24.if there was not something of the World Cup here in 2013. How much?

:22:24. > :22:31.It is something of a surprise. did not have to dig deep to find a

:22:31. > :22:36.ringing endorsement. Hull has got to be a short one in the World Cup

:22:36. > :22:44.for me. If you look at tonight as a spectacle, a game and donate event,

:22:44. > :22:48.this stadium, the Hull City is geared up to support Rugby League.

:22:48. > :22:54.Hull people are mad Rugby League people and if they do not get a

:22:54. > :22:59.World Cup game down here it would be an injustice to the town.

:22:59. > :23:06.After registering a record crowd for a game against New Zealand, the

:23:06. > :23:14.KC Stadium can look forward to more big games coming its way. The 2013

:23:15. > :23:24.World Cup is just around the corner. That is all the sport for me. You

:23:25. > :23:26.

:23:26. > :23:32.can send me your tweets. You do not read much, do you?

:23:33. > :23:36.of wisdom. We are waiting for them. Children In Need is this Friday

:23:36. > :23:41.night, the 18th, we will be broadcasting live throughout the

:23:41. > :23:45.evening. If you cannot wait that long, there is an event at the

:23:45. > :23:49.city's Cineworld tomorrow night. It is a Grease gala night with a

:23:49. > :23:56.special screening of the film and cinema-goers are encouraged to go

:23:56. > :24:00.in fancy dress. Tickets are 6, with 5 going to Children In Need.

:24:00. > :24:10.It was one of the biggest turnouts on the Remembrance Day parade for

:24:10. > :24:10.

:24:10. > :24:16.years. Thousands lined the streets of whole -- of Hull, as one woman

:24:16. > :24:19.remembered her husband. Corporal Lee Scott was killed in Afghanistan

:24:19. > :24:24.in 2009. Nikki Scott is raising money to help children who have

:24:24. > :24:28.lost parents in war. On this day of remembrance,

:24:28. > :24:37.thousands lined the streets of Hull this year to pay their respects. I

:24:37. > :24:41.was servicemen and women greeted with spontaneous applause.

:24:41. > :24:46.The Remembrance Day service in the city was described as one of the

:24:46. > :24:49.busiest in recent years. With many personal stories about loved ones

:24:49. > :24:59.lost in different wars and conflicts. It is my grandfather

:24:59. > :25:00.

:25:00. > :25:03.that I have never met, obviously, he went down on the Courageous.

:25:03. > :25:09.loved the Royal Marines, he lived for them, and obviously, he died

:25:09. > :25:14.for them. He was such a lovely lad. For one bereaved family, though,

:25:14. > :25:20.their recent grief is being put to good use. Corporal Lee Scott from

:25:20. > :25:26.King's Lynn was killed in Afghanistan in 2009. His wife,

:25:26. > :25:31.Nikki Scott, has now launched a family for bereaved military

:25:31. > :25:37.families. It is children who it is hoped will benefit most. The bigger

:25:37. > :25:44.gold is to raise around 450,000 to buy a holiday home throughout the

:25:44. > :25:48.UK. So that widows can phone up and say, I am having a bad week, is

:25:48. > :25:55.there a home available next week? And we can say yes, the fridge will

:25:55. > :25:57.be stopped and they can get away. They have already raised 100,000,

:25:57. > :26:02.paying for special trips and presence on birthdays and at

:26:02. > :26:06.Christmas time. I think he would be really chuffed with what we are

:26:06. > :26:11.doing. Kids were his life, if this charity is helping kids, he would
