:00:00. > :00:00.two weeks' time. That is all from us tonight but do

:00:00. > :00:16.stay Good evening. A woman whose daughter

:00:17. > :00:20.was hit and killed by a rain has added her voice to those warning of

:00:21. > :00:23.the dangers of a level crossing in Lincolnshire. Campaigners say there

:00:24. > :00:26.have been a number of near misses between pupils and trains at a

:00:27. > :00:29.crossing in Cherry Willingham. Tina Hughes has been to speak to local

:00:30. > :00:31.schoolchildren and hopes her experience will help to keep

:00:32. > :00:42.youngsters safe. Jill Archbold reports. One mum with one message.

:00:43. > :00:45.She has travelled to this Lincolnshire school to tell pupils

:00:46. > :00:56.why they should be careful at the nearby level crossing. Her

:00:57. > :01:00.daughter, heat on the right, and her friend Charlotte were killed at a

:01:01. > :01:05.level crossing in Essex. They were hit by a trained they did not see

:01:06. > :01:12.coming. These pupils discussed the risks. They have got their own lives

:01:13. > :01:21.and if they actually got hit you have basically thrown that all away.

:01:22. > :01:29.Kina considers this visit is part of her daughter's legacy. It was quite

:01:30. > :01:35.flat calf seeing those kids with their bright young futures. It is

:01:36. > :01:38.hard. I do not want anything to happen to any of those and there is

:01:39. > :01:45.a crossing in this village which is quite dangerous. Since November

:01:46. > :01:52.there have been three reports to the school of near miss moments. Any

:01:53. > :02:02.village of this size in this day and age to still have a half barrier

:02:03. > :02:11.separating the shop from the school, it is not fit for purpose. As part

:02:12. > :02:18.of the safety day the police are monitoring. This rain passes without

:02:19. > :02:23.issue but it is not always the case. This will be eligible for

:02:24. > :02:31.upgrading but at the moment for the risk around here it is perfectly

:02:32. > :02:38.safe. Network Rail have reached their goal of closing 10% of the

:02:39. > :02:50.country's crossings but this woman hopes higher story will reduce

:02:51. > :02:53.accidents at all of them. `` her story. An investigation is underway

:02:54. > :02:57.after a woman was found dead at a house in Louth. The woman, who was

:02:58. > :03:00.in her thirties, was discovered yesterday morning in the east of the

:03:01. > :03:03.town. Police are treating her death as unexplained and a postmortem

:03:04. > :03:06.examination will now be carried out. An East Yorkshire`based UKIP

:03:07. > :03:09.politician has cold on the government to spend some of the

:03:10. > :03:12.money earmarked for overseas aid on flood victims in this country. The

:03:13. > :03:15.UKIP leader Nigel Farage has said the foreign aid budget should be

:03:16. > :03:18.diverted to homes and businesses that have been devastated by the

:03:19. > :03:21.winter storms. One of the party's leading candidates in the European

:03:22. > :03:24.elections is backing a national newspaper campaign calling for the

:03:25. > :03:28.money to be spent closer to home. What I am saying is, what was so

:03:29. > :03:33.wrong with Nigel's comment about having 1% of the foreign aid budget?

:03:34. > :03:39.What is so wrong with starting at home with eight, just 1% to help

:03:40. > :03:45.those people who are in trouble in our country? A music editor from

:03:46. > :03:48.East Yorkshire was amongst the winners at this year's BAFTA awards.

:03:49. > :03:52.Chris Benstead, who went to South Holderness School, was the joint

:03:53. > :03:55.winner for Best Sound for his work on the film Gravity. Rush, which was

:03:56. > :03:58.filmed at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire took the best editing

:03:59. > :04:00.award. But Philomena, which was produced by Tracey Seaward, who's

:04:01. > :04:06.originally from Willerby near Hull, mist out on the Outstanding British

:04:07. > :04:15.Film prize to Gravity. Jennifer Bartram has the weather forecast.

:04:16. > :04:18.Good evening. Many of us have some decent spells of sunshine today and

:04:19. > :04:26.we go into this evening keeping those clear skies. We will see a

:04:27. > :04:30.touch of frost in places, some mist and fog developing by tomorrow

:04:31. > :04:36.morning. Further west Cloud will edging ahead of the band of rain for

:04:37. > :04:41.tomorrow morning. Temperatures dropping back to two Celsius. The

:04:42. > :04:48.rain will move back in again first thing on Monday morning. The odd

:04:49. > :04:54.heavier burst at times. Temperatures peaking at nine Celsius. Mostly dry

:04:55. > :04:57.on Tuesday through to Wednesday, rain again for Thursday. That is all

:04:58. > :05:10.from us for now. Good night. Good evening. In the midst of any

:05:11. > :05:15.normal winter weather for the week ahead would be fairly unremarkable.

:05:16. > :05:19.Some rain in places, some strong winds at times, but of course we are

:05:20. > :05:22.in the midst of no normal winter. It is worth emphasising that with -

:05:23. > :05:29.the weather this week will be less angry and volatile overall, a fair

:05:30. > :05:32.bit calmer. Calmer but by no means dry. Outbreaks of rain will spread

:05:33. > :05:36.across much of the UK through the night. There will be some snow mixed

:05:37. > :05:38.in across the hills of central Scotland. Temperatures slowly

:05:39. > :05:42.starting to rise through the night but they could be at or below

:05:43. > :05:46.freezing across northern Scotland first thing, maybe a bit icy as the

:05:47. > :05:50.weather pushes northwards. A dull, damp, dismal Monday morning with

:05:51. > :05:54.outbreaks of rain covering much of the UK. The rain may not yet have

:05:55. > :05:58.reached the east coast of England, a misty and murky start here. The rain

:05:59. > :06:02.not too heavy for most but there will still be some heavy bursts

:06:03. > :06:05.particularly over south Wales and south-west England and it will be

:06:06. > :06:09.quite windy here through the day, although nothing like the storms of

:06:10. > :06:12.last week. As the wet weather pushes northwards there will be some snow

:06:13. > :06:13.even to relatively no
