:00:08. > :00:13.Good evening. A row over a patch of land on the banks of the Humber

:00:14. > :00:17.could jeopardise the creation of thousands of new jobs. That's the

:00:18. > :00:19.warning from Able UK, which has planning permission to develop a

:00:20. > :00:23.multi`million pound wind energy park near to Immingham. Rival port

:00:24. > :00:27.operator ABP is objecting to the plans because they have their own

:00:28. > :00:31.ideas about how the land should be used. Now the Government has been

:00:32. > :00:37.asked to step in. Here's our business correspondent, Paul Murphy.

:00:38. > :00:40.Marked in blue on the photo, this patch of land is known as the

:00:41. > :00:45.Killingholme Triangle, and Able UK has been given special powers to buy

:00:46. > :00:48.it. It needs the land to access a proposed jetty in the river, but the

:00:49. > :00:52.fields are owned by rival operator ABP, and they are now objecting to

:00:53. > :00:59.the Able UK plan, and say they want to use the area for their own

:01:00. > :01:02.riverside development. Anything that frustrates the development, and

:01:03. > :01:05.everything that slows progress, is really only going to play into the

:01:06. > :01:09.hands of our continental competitors. We need to be ready,

:01:10. > :01:15.certainly in 2018, possibly 2017, and delays now could be potentially

:01:16. > :01:19.fatal. Able submitted its planning application back in December 2011.

:01:20. > :01:23.The Government approved the plans just before Christmas 2013.

:01:24. > :01:30.Yesterday was the closing date for final objections, and ABP sent two

:01:31. > :01:34.petitions to the Government. It all comes as the Humber is trying to set

:01:35. > :01:37.itself up as the go`to place for wind turbine manufacture, and there

:01:38. > :01:43.is worry that this plan could all now unravel. The renewable sector is

:01:44. > :01:47.marching on. We want to make the Humber the centre of the renewables.

:01:48. > :01:52.That is the determined policy of the Government. I want to do all I can

:01:53. > :01:56.to assist that, and any delay is unhelpful. ABP of course has every

:01:57. > :02:00.right to object, but it is in danger of becoming a lone voice on the

:02:01. > :02:03.Humber. The local enterprise partnership has described ABP's move

:02:04. > :02:11.as "disappointing", and has urged it to reconsider its position. We're

:02:12. > :02:15.actually engaging with Able. We are trying to reach a compromise,

:02:16. > :02:19.because if we can do that, then this procedure can be dropped, and we can

:02:20. > :02:22.all move forward. But it is important that we both compromise.

:02:23. > :02:27.The Government will now decide whether ABP's objection is a valid

:02:28. > :02:31.one. But if that decision takes too long, then Able UK's plans for this

:02:32. > :02:40.estuary and the jobs it is promising may start to look a little less

:02:41. > :02:43.likely. A teenager has been taken to

:02:44. > :02:46.hospital after an assault in Grimsby. Humberside Police say the

:02:47. > :02:50.16`year`old boy ` who is not thought to be from the area ` has serious

:02:51. > :02:54.injuries to his back, hand, and head after the incident on Macaulay

:02:55. > :02:58.Street in the early hours of the morning. He's in a critical but

:02:59. > :03:01.stable condition in hospital. A Lincoln man who attacked a

:03:02. > :03:04.21`year`old, leaving a claw hammer embedded in his skull, has been

:03:05. > :03:07.convicted of attempted murder. Birmingham Crown Court heard how

:03:08. > :03:10.Matthew Probert, who's from Scunthorpe, had to be treated in two

:03:11. > :03:16.hospitals after the assault outside a bar in Lincoln last year.

:03:17. > :03:21.23`year`old Kris Bradley was found guilty of attempted murder and will

:03:22. > :03:25.be sentenced at a later hearing. An inquest into the death of a

:03:26. > :03:29.Lincolnshire man has heard concerns about the care he received while at

:03:30. > :03:33.Lincoln County Hospital. Ray Law, who was 60, died two days after an

:03:34. > :03:37.operation for prostate cancer in 2010. Today, Professor Andrew

:03:38. > :03:40.Bradbury, who had prepared a report for the coroner, said he was

:03:41. > :03:48.surprised and concerned that Mr Law was not transferred to a high`

:03:49. > :03:51.dependency unit after surgery. People in Revesby near Horncastle

:03:52. > :03:53.are being asked to check their outbuildings as concern grows for a

:03:54. > :03:58.vulnerable woman who has been reported missing. 52`year`old Denise

:03:59. > :04:03.Gray, who's American, disappeared yesterday afternoon. Police teams

:04:04. > :04:09.searched through the night with dogs and heat`seeking equipment in

:04:10. > :04:13.freezing conditions. She led the campaign to scrap Humber

:04:14. > :04:16.Bridge tolls for hospital patients ` but Jenny Walton, from Kirmington in

:04:17. > :04:21.North Lincolnshire, has lost her 20`year battle with cancer. Her

:04:22. > :04:25.husband has told BBC Look North he's proud of the legacy she's left

:04:26. > :04:29.behind ` and that lowering the tolls "wouldn't even have been dreamt

:04:30. > :04:35.about" without Jenny's work. Anne`Marie Tasker reports.

:04:36. > :04:38.Jenny Walton had cancer for more than 20 years, and regularly crossed

:04:39. > :04:41.the Humber to hospitals in Hull. Travelling from her home in North

:04:42. > :04:45.Lincolnshire, she knew first`hand just how expensive it could be to

:04:46. > :04:49.get life`saving care. Her husband, Trevor, says that is why she started

:04:50. > :04:54.the campaign to scrap the Humber Bridge tolls back in 1999. That

:04:55. > :04:59.campaign actually started in this room that we are in now. It would

:05:00. > :05:03.not have happened without Jenny sticking her heels in in the first

:05:04. > :05:09.place. It would not have even been dreamt about. Regardless of how long

:05:10. > :05:13.it took her, or what she had to do, she was going to make it happen, and

:05:14. > :05:16.she did. Jenny Walton won the support of council leaders and MPs

:05:17. > :05:20.for her campaign. She organised protests, and set out the case to

:05:21. > :05:24.abolish the tolls at a public inquiry. Jenny Walton campaigned for

:05:25. > :05:30.13 years before she saw Humber Bridge tolls halved. When they were

:05:31. > :05:34.reduced in 2012, a pledge was made that hospital patients in the South

:05:35. > :05:38.Bank would be able to cross the bridge for treatment for free. But

:05:39. > :05:42.that is something they are still waiting to see happen. The Humber

:05:43. > :05:44.Bridge Board has told us it continues to review its

:05:45. > :05:50.concessionary arrangements on a regular basis, and hasn't confirmed

:05:51. > :05:53.or ruled out any changes to these. But Janet Sanderson, who worked

:05:54. > :05:56.alongside Jenny supporting cancer patients in Northern Lincolnshire,

:05:57. > :06:02.says scrapping tolls for patients is still something they would like to

:06:03. > :06:05.see done. Once Jenny got hold of something, she wasn't going to let

:06:06. > :06:11.go until she got what she wanted, and halving the Bridge tolls was an

:06:12. > :06:14.incredible achievement. She always wanted to get it down to no Bridge

:06:15. > :06:21.tolls, and hopefully, we can pick that up on her behalf and carry it

:06:22. > :06:29.on into the future. That is something Jenny's husband also wants

:06:30. > :06:31.to see achieved in her memory. Time for a look at the weather with

:06:32. > :06:36.Paul Hudson. Good evening. Another pleasant day

:06:37. > :06:39.to come tomorrow for most of us. Sunshine at first. It will tend to

:06:40. > :06:43.cloud over later. With the south`westerly breeze, we could have

:06:44. > :06:49.temperatures up to 11 degrees. Fine tonight. Long, clear periods. That

:06:50. > :06:53.means we're in for a widespread ground frost, even a tough of air

:06:54. > :06:57.frost in one or two places. There will be some mist and fog in places.

:06:58. > :06:59.There is a look at tonight's towns and cities temperatures. Rurally,

:07:00. > :07:03.the temperatures around freezing. A grey start in places tomorrow

:07:04. > :07:06.morning. Otherwise, it is fine and bright with some sunshine, and fog

:07:07. > :07:09.patches soon lifting. Through the afternoon, cloud will generally tend

:07:10. > :07:13.to increase from the west, but apart from the odd spot of rain, it should

:07:14. > :07:18.stay dry. Highest temperatures around 11 degrees Celsius. Thursday

:07:19. > :07:22.looks dry. Brighter at times. Always a lot of cloud. That's the forecast.

:07:23. > :07:32.That's all from the late team. And with more on that, here is the

:07:33. > :07:41.National forecast. Good evening. The skies across

:07:42. > :07:45.England and Wales are clearing. It will turn cold once again. A

:07:46. > :07:52.different story for Scotland and Northern Ireland. But ahead of that,

:07:53. > :07:53.the skies
