:02:57. > :02:59.welcomed by the business colmunity. This business is based in Htll but
:03:00. > :03:03.reliant on the train to say London`based clients. It is going to
:03:04. > :03:08.be great because you have to train in Hull, it will be fast and clean
:03:09. > :03:12.and with less disruption. Great news. The big question is whether
:03:13. > :03:18.this work will be ready in time for 2017 when Hull celebrates its year
:03:19. > :03:22.of culture and when more th`n 1 million visitors are expectdd to
:03:23. > :03:26.come to the area. The reality is that the timing is going to be very
:03:27. > :03:32.tight indeed. We need this now, not some unspecified date the other side
:03:33. > :03:36.of 2019, the original plan. This announcement means we can start work
:03:37. > :03:41.next year and have it compldted well before 2017.
:03:42. > :03:45.The private company, Hull Trains, will plough more than ?19 mhllion
:03:46. > :03:48.into the scheme. The project promises to transform the r`ilway
:03:49. > :03:54.network in a region hungry for regeneration. Many will feel it

:04:18. > :04:21.for people to get down to London. The advantage for passengers is that
:04:22. > :04:26.we can lower fares because of that capacity. In terms of a reghon as
:04:27. > :04:29.well, it is not just about getting to London, it provides an
:04:30. > :04:35.opportunity for people to gdt to Manchester, Liverpool. How luch
:04:36. > :04:45.quicker will be Johnny to Lhverpool the? `` London. It will be puicker,
:04:46. > :04:48.no doubt about it. We will work with our colleagues to work out the lives
:04:49. > :04:53.of those journey times. The next stage is to speak to those people

:05:02. > :05:10.City of Culture and 2017? Is that realistic? In terms of the work it

:05:21. > :05:25.electric lines, that is certainly a possibility but we must work with
:05:26. > :05:28.our colleagues. In terms of the procurement of begin its and
:05:29. > :05:32.bringing electric units to the city, that has a longer time scald and
:05:33. > :05:36.will be midway through the City of Culture, but we will not know until
:05:37. > :05:41.we speak to our colleagues `t the Department of Transport. Prdssure is

:18:55. > :18:57.council back in 2009. Some people are getting up to five speeding
:18:58. > :19:02.fines each day. It is a busx road and it does not need to be lore than
:19:03. > :19:07.30 mph which hopefully the council will resolve. They should not be
:19:08. > :19:10.speeding however, should be? They are effectively breaking thd law.
:19:11. > :19:14.There have been 90 crashes on this road in the last five years `
:19:15. > :19:18.Humberside Police want to kdep the limit at 30mph for safety. Some
:19:19. > :19:23.pedestrians agreed today. I think it should be 30 mph for noise pollution
:19:24. > :19:33.for residents and make it a safe road. It would be better if it was
:19:34. > :19:36.30 mph, safer to cross on. There are barriers of the side of the road,
:19:37. > :19:40.why not make it 50 mph? Councillors will decide at ` meeting
:19:41. > :19:43.tonight whether to approve the plans to raise the limit to 40mph and move
:19:44. > :19:52.to the next stage of public consultation.

:22:15. > :22:18.has been a growth area over the last year or so, all thanks to Mhchael
:22:19. > :22:25.and the contribution that unique to Sport Relief. Without donathons from
:22:26. > :22:29.Sport Relief, Michael would not be able to get his message across. So
:22:30. > :22:46.far he has instructed more than 100 pupils with more to come.
