:00:00. > :00:09.part, outbreaks of rain. Still warm sunny spells in the South. Some

:00:10. > :00:10.uncertainty about the bank all day. How quickly will the weather system

:00:11. > :16:03.bring because I know my husband loves to

:16:04. > :16:09.watch Keeley. The weekend doesn't look too bad. Saturday will be the

:16:10. > :16:14.best day. Tomorrow will be a chilly start but a fine day with decent

:16:15. > :16:17.spells of sunshine. High pressure dominates into tomorrow but some

:16:18. > :16:25.weather fronts making their way in from the west. Certainly there will

:16:26. > :16:30.be some pleasant weather on Sunday. Here is a satellite picture. There

:16:31. > :16:35.is more cloud in southern part of Lincolnshire but it has been a fine

:16:36. > :16:40.day. A little bit of a nip in the air, so a dry night with long clear

:16:41. > :16:53.spells but temperatures will drop down very low, to around four

:16:54. > :17:05.degrees. Gardeners of the where `` gardeners beware. So tomorrow

:17:06. > :17:09.morning, a chilly start to the day but a beautiful start. Crystal clear

:17:10. > :17:14.skies with lots of sunshine. As we head with lots of sunshine. As we

:17:15. > :17:18.had through the day. A bit more cloud in the afternoon but it won't

:17:19. > :17:25.spoil things. It will be pleasant indeed, and temperatures will be at

:17:26. > :17:33.about average for the year, probably reaching 13 degrees. In the sunshine

:17:34. > :17:42.it will feel warmer. The breeze will be gentle and a weak weather fronts

:17:43. > :17:47.into Sunday. Some rain possible but mostly sunshine.

:17:48. > :18:02.into Sunday. Some rain possible but I don't think Terry is a great fan

:18:03. > :18:05.of mine. Have a nice weekend. This Hollywood actor, who's been in more

:18:06. > :18:08.than a dozen films, is opening a theatre in Beverley, saying he's

:18:09. > :18:11.amazed such a cultural town doesn't have one. Vincent Regan and a group

:18:12. > :18:14.of volunteers are transforming an old church into the East Riding

:18:15. > :18:18.Theatre. There's no public funding as arts budgets are being cut, and

:18:19. > :18:21.experts say they'll have to give theatre goers "what they want" to

:18:22. > :18:32.survive. Here's our arts correspondent, Anne` Marie Tasker.

:18:33. > :18:36.A new era has begun. He's starred in films like Clash of the Titans and

:18:37. > :18:40.300 ` as well as countless TV shows. But now Vincent Regan has taken on a

:18:41. > :18:42.new role. He's behind plans to transform Lord Roberts Chapel in

:18:43. > :18:52.Beverley into the East Riding Theatre. I moved up from London

:18:53. > :19:04.about seven years ago. I was amazed that a town like this, which has a

:19:05. > :19:08.diverse cultural life, didn't have a theatre. So, plans were drawn up,

:19:09. > :19:13.and donations and offers of free work from professionals mean the

:19:14. > :19:20.project's now under way. By September this will be the

:19:21. > :19:34.auditorium. 200 seats will be here, helping towards a 25 years and

:19:35. > :19:40.pounds that has been raised `` towards ?20,000. People have been

:19:41. > :19:48.sponsoring seats. We do have quite a good business plan. We have done our

:19:49. > :19:51.sons and should have fried. Funding is a challenge for regional

:19:52. > :19:54.theatres. Last week it was revealed Hull Truck was bailed out with

:19:55. > :19:58.public money. The Theatres Trust says giving local people what they

:19:59. > :20:06.want will be the key to East Riding Theatre's success. It is being

:20:07. > :20:14.sensitive to watch your community needs, so any theatre has two listen

:20:15. > :20:18.to what people want. You have to be very good at using the resources you

:20:19. > :20:21.have. Some four years after it was first suggested, building work on

:20:22. > :20:25.the theatre is now under way. And the team have just revealed they'll

:20:26. > :20:38.be ready to open the doors on the 18th of September.

:20:39. > :20:41.The football season is coming to an exciting end for four local clubs.

:20:42. > :20:44.One is already promoted and two others are battling for promotion in

:20:45. > :20:48.play`off matches, and one is trying to secure a second year in the

:20:49. > :20:51.Premier League. Simon Clark is at the ground of non`league North

:20:52. > :20:54.Ferriby United. Simon, what are their chances of a historic

:20:55. > :20:59.promotion? They're up against it a bit in their

:21:00. > :21:04.semifinal. They are losing at the minute. Their aspiration is to get

:21:05. > :21:10.into the conference Premier league. Grimsby are there and try to get

:21:11. > :21:18.out. They are leading in their first leg, so all to play for in the

:21:19. > :21:22.second leg on Sunday. This was a terrific game, punctuated

:21:23. > :21:25.by two fine goals. The first of them after six minutes coming from

:21:26. > :21:28.Gateshead's Colin Larkin. The former Lincoln City player with a fine

:21:29. > :21:31.finish. 15 minutes later a neat header from Craig Disney brought the

:21:32. > :21:35.Mariners level. Try as as they might, they couldn't find a winner

:21:36. > :21:38.so it is all square heading to the second leg on Sunday. Our midfield

:21:39. > :21:42.should have come forward more, passed it more on the ground instead

:21:43. > :21:47.of high balls. We are better away than we are at home so we'll

:21:48. > :21:51.probably win away. We'll beat them 2`0, I'm telling you. Billy Heath's

:21:52. > :21:54.North Ferriby have to overturn a two`goal deficit to Guiseley when

:21:55. > :22:01.they meet here tomorrow in the Conference North play`off semifinal.

:22:02. > :22:04.There could well be a party atmosphere at Scunthorpe United

:22:05. > :22:07.after promotion was secured at Exeter, but manager Russ Wilcox has

:22:08. > :22:16.his feet back on the ground, pushing for the championship against York

:22:17. > :22:18.City. And Hull could be celebrating Premier league survival and

:22:19. > :22:24.astonishingly European qualification after they secured a valuable draw

:22:25. > :22:27.at Fulham last week. The wisdom of investing ?13 million in the

:22:28. > :22:32.purchase of Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic paid dividends as both

:22:33. > :22:39.scored. They have done remarkably well. After we have a cup final to

:22:40. > :22:43.look forward to. If Manchester City win on Saturday we are in Europe as

:22:44. > :22:48.well is, so it has been an unbelievable couple of years. Long

:22:49. > :23:01.may it continue. For the fans, Steve Bruce is the manager of the year.

:23:02. > :23:18.It is ten years since Hull were getting promoted from the bottom

:23:19. > :23:25.league. What a journey. North Ferriby are also looking to get the

:23:26. > :23:28.as well. Both Hull's Rugby League teams are in action at home this

:23:29. > :23:31.Sunday in the Super League. Sixth placed Hull FC take on the Wakefield

:23:32. > :23:35.Wildcats, live on BBC Radio Humberside, that's on FM Online.

:23:36. > :23:39.Whilst Hull KR ` who currently lie ninth in the table ` host the Widnes

:23:40. > :23:43.Vikings. Full coverage of that game is on AM, DAB and online.

:23:44. > :23:45.The BBC is offering apprenticeships at Radio Humberside and Radio

:23:46. > :23:49.Lincolnshire as part of Director General Tony Hall's pledge to open

:23:50. > :23:53.up the BBC to people from a wide range of backgrounds. The successful

:23:54. > :23:56.candidates would work as Apprentice Broadcast Assistants at the two

:23:57. > :24:00.radio stations. The roles would start in September and are open to

:24:01. > :24:04.non`graduates who are over 18. For more details go to the BBC careers

:24:05. > :24:14.website and follow the links to trainee schemes.

:24:15. > :24:18.After months of work to install new paving in Grimsby ` which was only

:24:19. > :24:21.fully completed six weeks ago ` they're ripping it up for cable

:24:22. > :24:23.works. Northern Powergrid needs to do emergency repairs to cables

:24:24. > :24:35.beneath the footpath in Victoria Street West. Flowers have been kept

:24:36. > :24:38.in a cold store ahead of a tulip festival in Spalding this weekend

:24:39. > :24:41.because warm weather meant they grew earlier than they were needed. Final

:24:42. > :24:44.touches were being made to the floats today, which will remain

:24:45. > :24:47.static this year as funding for a parade is no longer available. But

:24:48. > :24:50.organisers say it's important to celebrate the area's tulip`growing

:24:51. > :24:56.history. The sculpturing that we have done,

:24:57. > :25:01.the fact they have vintage tractors, the fact that people used

:25:02. > :25:17.a hand pin them on and take days doing it, there are things we should

:25:18. > :25:19.retain. It looks good, doesn't it? This orphaned new born duckling has

:25:20. > :25:23.found an unexpected replacement mother. A chicken, which has taken

:25:24. > :25:26.the new arrival under its wing, is catering for the young bird's every

:25:27. > :25:30.whim. They both live at Fiskerton Primary School near Lincoln were

:25:31. > :25:34.pupils can't believe their eyes. Meet Victoria Peckham and little

:25:35. > :25:42.Lucky. They shouldn't belong together, but Lucky the duckling

:25:43. > :25:45.thinks Victoria the hen is its mum. Pupils at Fiskerton Primary School,

:25:46. > :25:49.near Lincoln, have been amazed by the unusual pairing. It's quite

:25:50. > :25:54.strange because it's usually your ducks with your ducklings and your

:25:55. > :25:58.chickens with your baby chickens. It's quite amazing how they both

:25:59. > :26:23.like each other. I thought they would just attack each other. She's

:26:24. > :26:29.five eggs. After 28 days one of them hatched ` that duckling was Lucky.

:26:30. > :26:32.They do say that if they hatch something off they will look after

:26:33. > :26:39.it no matter what the animal is, but I didn't think it would work as well

:26:40. > :26:44.as it has. She will scatter on the ground for worms and feed them to

:26:45. > :26:46.Lucky. She sits on her at night to keep her warm. Victoria isn't the

:26:47. > :28:45.first Men are even less tolerant of women

:28:46. > :28:46.than they were before. It's shocking it'd happen

:28:47. > :28:51.in a public place. I don't find it funny,

:28:52. > :28:53.but I don't find it offensive. It really is vile.

:28:54. > :28:55.Shock value sells. Men are even less tolerant of women

:28:56. > :28:59.than they were before. The hatred of women.

:29:00. > :29:02.Some people are offended. Others think women

:29:03. > :29:03.should just man up. and even misogyny

:29:04. > :29:08.socially acceptable? Join me, Kirsty Wark,

:29:09. > :29:11.as I investigate...
