:00:17. > :00:21.who died in the Flixborough Disaster Remembering the 28 men who lost

:00:22. > :00:34.their lives just a short distance It was 40 years ago today

:00:35. > :00:44.when the Nypro chemical works The blast so devastating, almost

:00:45. > :00:50.2,000 homes nearby were damaged. So loud, it was heard 30

:00:51. > :00:56.miles away in Grimsby. For those who lost family,

:00:57. > :00:58.friends and colleagues, A policeman stopped me, gave me ID,

:00:59. > :01:07.let me through. Anything you had seen

:01:08. > :01:23.during the war was nothing compared And all the way coming, I said to

:01:24. > :01:41.my husband, I can't do this. You can do it.

:01:42. > :01:46.But I miss him. When you hear the names read out,

:01:47. > :01:53.you can't help but be affected I think it has been really nice.

:01:54. > :02:01.It is nice for the families. They put on a lovely,

:02:02. > :02:03.lovely service. And it brought back

:02:04. > :02:08.all those memories. Around 150 people attended today's

:02:09. > :02:15.service, which offered prayers Remembering one of north

:02:16. > :02:21.Lincolnshire's darkest days. A man's in a critical condition

:02:22. > :02:24.in hospital after being found with head injuries in North Somercotes

:02:25. > :02:28.in the early hours of this morning. The 43`year`old is being treated

:02:29. > :02:30.in hospital in Grimsby A 25`year`old man has been arrested

:02:31. > :02:34.and police are appealing Farmers say more people are choosing

:02:35. > :02:40.to breed traditional Lincolnshire The Lincoln Red Cattle Society says

:02:41. > :02:44.it has seen numbers massively increase in recent years,

:02:45. > :02:47.as people discover how cheap and easy the cows are to keep.

:02:48. > :02:51.Jessica Lane has more. Alan has been breeding Lincoln

:02:52. > :02:54.red cattle for 11 years. It is the traditional breed which is

:02:55. > :02:59.seeing an increase in popularity. These big Continental breeds,

:03:00. > :03:02.they are expensive to run. The native breeds are durable, they

:03:03. > :03:08.will produce 10 or more calfs in a lifetime and you can feed them on

:03:09. > :03:12.grass all summer and silage and hay They need

:03:13. > :03:18.a little more than that really. 10 years ago, the

:03:19. > :03:21.Lincoln Red Cattle Society had 45 Last year, the society had 240

:03:22. > :03:29.members and there were 4000 animals. Some say that could partly be

:03:30. > :03:33.because people are more keen to buy local meat after tests last year

:03:34. > :03:36.found horse in a number of products We saw a great resurgence

:03:37. > :03:43.of people going much more local for their food and perhaps shunning

:03:44. > :03:46.more processed and frozen foods We have seen the resurgence

:03:47. > :03:54.of the Hereford Breed for example and Aberdeen Angus, which are

:03:55. > :03:56.ubiquitous in our supermarkets. What we need to see more of is named

:03:57. > :04:00.breeds so that people actually know they are buying Lincoln red,

:04:01. > :04:05.or Aberdeen Angus or Hereford. The Lincoln Red Cattle Society say

:04:06. > :04:08.the breed has a strong history locally

:04:09. > :04:11.and this renewed interest could mean Time for the weather now with

:04:12. > :04:18.Keeley Donovan. I hope you have enjoyed

:04:19. > :04:21.the sunshine today. A lot more cloud

:04:22. > :04:23.around this coming week and we are going to start to see it

:04:24. > :04:27.edging eastwards through the course A largely dry night to come,

:04:28. > :04:31.not a cold one, temperatures dropping back to 12 or

:04:32. > :04:38.13 degrees, 13 is 55 Fahrenheit. You may start

:04:39. > :04:40.off the day with some early brightness, things going downhill,

:04:41. > :04:43.thicker cloud spreads from the west and gradually through the day the

:04:44. > :04:46.cloud will produce patchy rain and Temperatures tomorrow reaching

:04:47. > :04:50.16 degrees, 61 Fahrenheit. We're back in the morning

:04:51. > :05:12.at 6:25am. Good night. Hope you had a nice weekend, it was

:05:13. > :05:16.a warm and sunny one across central and eastern areas. A different story

:05:17. > :05:21.out west with signs of change. It will be a different week this week

:05:22. > :05:27.with some rain around. Some sunshine too. For a time, it will feel a good

:05:28. > :05:31.deal cooler. There is a complicated cold front

:05:32. > :05:36.producing patchy rain in the west right now. Sharp bursts in the

:05:37. > :05:38.northern half of the UK. A drier night further east. The front will
