:00:35. > :00:39.Even though no fracking is taking place here,

:00:40. > :00:43.protesters who suspect it whll have barricaded the site entrance

:00:44. > :00:49.The protest is now in its seventh week.

:00:50. > :00:52.Oil and gas exploration is an inherently risky business,

:00:53. > :00:57.and hydraulic fracturing is that taken to a desperate extremd.

:00:58. > :00:59.This is the process they're worried about.

:01:00. > :01:03.Fracking involves drilling down and creating tiny explosions to

:01:04. > :01:07.shatter and crack hard shald rocks to release the gas inside.

:01:08. > :01:11.Water, sand and chemicals are injected into the rock at hhgh

:01:12. > :01:14.pressure, which allows the gas to flow out to the head of the well.

:01:15. > :01:18.But there are concerns that harmful chemicals can sometimes esc`pe

:01:19. > :01:22.and find their way into drinking water sources.

:01:23. > :01:26.At the heart of the debate about what's really going on here is

:01:27. > :01:30.a small paragraph in the drhlling company's licence to operatd.

:01:31. > :01:34.It's got permission for somdthing called a mini fall`off test.

:01:35. > :01:37.Essentially, this is a way of establishing whether

:01:38. > :01:42.the rock beneath my feet is capable of being hydraulically fractured.

:01:43. > :01:47.The company insists that test is only to gather information,

:01:48. > :01:53.We are an exploration company. Explorers explore.

:01:54. > :01:57.We have spent a great deal of time, resource and intellectual thought

:01:58. > :02:01.to design these wells and take them to the depths that we

:02:02. > :02:05.think will give us the maxilum possible amount of informathon.

:02:06. > :02:08.That site is about the one site in East Yorkshire you can

:02:09. > :02:11.absolutely guarantee will ndver have fracking from it, because it's

:02:12. > :02:15.They might as well protest outside the pylons down the road,

:02:16. > :02:18.because they've got about as much to do with fracking as that site does.

:02:19. > :02:21.But Walkington resident Peter Rollinson, who's

:02:22. > :02:24.a former oil industry enginder, says he needs more reassurance.

:02:25. > :02:27.Rathlin have put themselves on the line.

:02:28. > :02:30.They've stated categoricallx many times that they will not fr`ck

:02:31. > :02:34.at Crawberry Hill, but we have to ask, why havd they

:02:35. > :02:40.I believe they are laying the ground for somebody elsd to come

:02:41. > :02:43.in and possibly frack this site at some point in the future.

:02:44. > :02:48.As Rathlin Energy seeks legal advice, the protesters

:02:49. > :02:54.say they are more determined than ever not to be moved.

:02:55. > :02:59.There has been a serious cr`sh this evening in Louth in Lincolnshire.

:03:00. > :03:02.East Midlands Ambulance Service says six people sustained injurids

:03:03. > :03:05.in the accident on Crowtree Lane, with two taken to

:03:06. > :03:11.Police are asking for the public's help to trace

:03:44. > :03:48.The strikes will take place next weekend.

:03:49. > :03:51.A road in Scunthorpe has bedn reopened, three days after ` broken

:03:52. > :03:57.One man was trapped and had to be rescued when it happened on Tuesday.

:03:58. > :04:00.Ashby Road has now reopened, but temporary traffic lights are

:04:01. > :04:06.A driver from Lincolnshire says he c`n prove

:04:07. > :04:10.he was wrongly given a parkhng ticket using his own CCTV footage.

:04:11. > :04:13.Ron Best received the ticket for leaving his car on a street

:04:14. > :04:17.in Horncastle for more than two hours, in a one`hour bay.

:04:18. > :04:20.But he says he moved his car during that time and has

:04:21. > :04:29.Well, this is vehicle CCTV footage from my car.

:04:30. > :04:33.The footage that Ron says proves he doesn't deserve a parking thcket.

:04:34. > :04:36.He told me this was filmed in his car on the morning

:04:37. > :04:40.But at the same time, officials claim it had been parked

:04:41. > :04:45.up here in Horncastle for more than two hours in a one`hour space.

:04:46. > :04:47.I'm just annoyed really, because it is just unnecess`ry.

:04:48. > :04:52.I can't see why I got it, and obviously, I've got some proof that

:04:53. > :04:55.I wasn't there, and a lot of people probably wouldn't have that proof.

:04:56. > :05:01.Ron runs this CCTV shop in the town, and that's why he's got a c`mera

:05:02. > :05:03.like this in his car, and the footage

:05:04. > :05:09.On that morning, Ron claims he parked up near his

:05:10. > :05:16.When he returned, just before 1 , he left his car further up

:05:17. > :05:19.North Street in a one`hour space, facing the opposite direction.

:05:20. > :05:23.But Ron's received a letter from Lincolnshire County Cotncil,

:05:24. > :05:27.which claims a parking warddn measured his tyre valves

:05:28. > :05:30.and they didn't move between 8:53 and 11:03,

:05:31. > :05:33.and that's why he got a parking ticket.

:05:34. > :05:35.Why don't you just show the council your CCTV footage?

:05:36. > :05:38.It's slightly difficult, because you've actually got to have

:05:39. > :05:42.I have actually suggested that they come round and have a look `t it.

:05:43. > :05:47.It's not really that easy to view without the softward.

:05:48. > :06:04.In a statement, Lincolnshire County Council says:
