:02:12. > :02:21.The Canadian Lancaster has travelled 3700 miles. But with 100 miles to go
:02:22. > :02:27.a thunderstorm hit preventing the fly`past taking place. But many
:02:28. > :02:33.people were happy to sleep off of the Lancasters together even if it
:02:34. > :02:48.was just on the tarmac. `` were happy to witness the Tang Castor ``
:02:49. > :02:52.witness the Lancaster together. Sometimes on the way to read you
:02:53. > :03:04.could see at the Lancaster is underneath you.
:03:05. > :03:06.To commemorate the wartime efforts and the lives lost the Canadian
:03:07. > :03:15.Lancaster is set off for Lincolnshire. They stopped in a
:03:16. > :03:20.slant last night. Back in Lincolnshire crowds had gathered
:03:21. > :03:27.from early this morning. We were on our way to a wedding and we heard
:03:28. > :03:33.about this. To see one is fantastic, to see two is out of this world. It
:03:34. > :03:40.is once in a lifetime. At 11 o'clock the Lancaster was taken into
:03:41. > :03:47.position. There have been false starts over the years to try to get
:03:48. > :03:58.both aircraft together. Finally it has come together. But it was not to
:03:59. > :04:12.be. The weather turned. EV Asian enthusiasts waited for news. ``
:04:13. > :04:25.Aviation enthusiasts waited for news. We were waiting for so long.
:04:26. > :04:35.40 minutes late their Canadian aircraft arrived. It is a momentous
:04:36. > :04:40.day to have these aircraft together. I am disappointed that they have not
:04:41. > :04:47.been able to fly together. But it is a very exciting day. It would have
:04:48. > :04:55.been nice to see them fly together. But I am happy enough. The aircraft
:04:56. > :05:02.were finally united on the runway. The historic flight is still to
:05:03. > :05:07.come. The Canadian Lancaster needs to be
:05:08. > :05:13.serviced after its long journey. The aircraft are now due to fly together
:05:14. > :05:16.next week. There will be a number of events
:05:17. > :05:32.where both aircraft will appeared together.
:05:33. > :05:33.So there are still plenty of opportunities to see the aircraft
:05:34. > :05:43.flying together. With three quarters of an inch
:05:44. > :05:46.of rain falling in an hour it wasn't just today's historic fly
:05:47. > :05:48.past which was affected. Flash flooding has caused damage to
:05:49. > :05:50.homes and businesses in several places with Louth being
