:00:57. > :01:03.Overall, the number of collisions we suffered this year was lower
:01:04. > :01:10.Unfortunately, that has now plateaued and the fatals
:01:11. > :01:13.Until now the number of recent road traffic deaths
:01:14. > :01:21.But figures up to the 20th of December show that this year,
:01:22. > :01:23.59 people died on Lincolnshire's roads
:01:24. > :01:30.compared to last year, when 38 lost their lives.
:01:31. > :01:35.This year's are the worst figures since 2007
:01:36. > :01:39.when 65 motorists were killed and, of the 59 deaths in 2016,
:01:40. > :01:40.24 have been older drivers aged 60 or more.
:01:41. > :01:43.In Louth, many say that's not down to the roads,
:01:44. > :01:48.Our village, where we live, it's 30 miles an hour,
:01:49. > :01:50.but if anybody does 30, it's a miracle.
:01:51. > :01:51.The volume of traffic has increased dramatically
:01:52. > :01:59.You can be going along a motorway at 70, which is the limit,
:02:00. > :02:10.2016 has seen an increase in moped deaths
:02:11. > :02:14.That is why some instructors are calling for riders,
:02:15. > :02:17.who can have just two hours' experience, to undergo
:02:18. > :02:28.and possibly a bike test as well for them, a full test.
:02:29. > :02:31.So on the same path as those who have full licences.
:02:32. > :02:33.For now, though is that 2017 will see fewer fatalities
:02:34. > :02:41.A 27 year old Grimsby man has been arrested
:02:42. > :02:44.on suspicion of raping a women he met through a dating app.
:02:45. > :02:47.Humberside Police are investigating, and are warning people who use
:02:48. > :02:52.Officers say people seeing dates they've only being in touch with
:02:53. > :02:59.online should meet in public and tell a friend where they're going.
:03:00. > :03:02.People fall into that false sense of security in that,
:03:03. > :03:05.dealing with people online, you feel more comfortable and more
:03:06. > :03:07.relaxed, and those relationships progress a lot more quickly
