:01:21. > :01:24.extra money for things like housing, transport, training, and flood
:01:25. > :01:29.But could the county's devolution dream be over?
:01:30. > :01:33.The biggest problem was the issue of the directly elected mayor and,
:01:34. > :01:35.of course, the consultation results weren't in favour of the directly
:01:36. > :01:38.elected mayor so I think the majority of the councillors came

:01:45. > :01:46.Andrew Percy, hit back at the decision taken
:01:47. > :01:52.Well, if councillors choose to walk away for ?0.5 billion of extra
:01:53. > :01:53.funding for Lincolnshire and significant powers and lore
:01:54. > :01:56.money and more powers to cole then that's a decision they'll h`ve
:01:57. > :02:09.But I just have to correct Lartin - the consultation which was tnder

:02:21. > :02:22.a new combined authority that's the problem.
:02:23. > :02:24.So do voters in Lincoln want an elected mayor?
:02:25. > :02:27.I don't think we should because it is paying somebody else.
:02:28. > :02:30.Even though we're going to get some money back and we're still paying
:02:31. > :02:35.I don't think they need extra money to pay out another mayor.
:02:36. > :02:38.I think we're all right the way we are.
:02:39. > :02:41.If it is an elected person then I suppose it is a good thing
:02:42. > :02:44.because the people have chosen that person based on their values
:02:45. > :02:46.and what they plan to do with the county.
:02:47. > :02:49.Senior Lincolnshire councillors will go back to the Governmdnt

:03:16. > :03:17.the Police Commissioner, wondering if the salary
:03:18. > :03:29.Crispin Rolfe is following the story.
:03:30. > :03:35.Do we know why there are so few candidates?
:03:36. > :03:41.Well, according to Marc Jonds the Lincolnshire Police and crile

:04:10. > :04:11.figure salary. Well, you're looking at ?133,00
:04:12. > :04:13.a year which doesn't sound an insignificant amount of loney,
:04:14. > :04:16.but when you think he could be a Deputy Chief Constable for not
:04:17. > :04:28.much less, why would you take That's the crime commissiondr. So
:04:29. > :04:31.what happens now then? Well, Peter, the job has been advertised
:04:32. > :04:36.overseas, but the argument hs that people internationally might command
:04:37. > :04:40.a salary three or four times that which is on offer. The Home Office
:04:41. > :04:45.has said that it is never h`d to step in in these circumstances and
:04:46. > :04:50.says that it doesn't expect to do so now, nonetheless, we'll havd to wait

:05:54. > :05:56.immigration controls ahead of access If we did nothing, and we dhdn't get
:05:57. > :06:02.that access to the single m`rket, there would be huge job

:08:11. > :08:21.for the city. It pushes Leeds up the retahl
:08:22. > :08:24.rankings to number three behind only And it is the only major

:08:46. > :08:48.you back to a different timd almost It used to be a car park and seeing
:08:49. > :08:57.this, it is amazing. The difference between this side
:08:58. > :09:01.and the other side because H tend to go to the market

:09:08. > :09:13.to the last hour bringing dhsruption The question is, what will
:09:14. > :09:17.the impact be going forward? I think what it does do is bring
:09:18. > :09:21.people back into this rather This was a redundant car park

:09:40. > :10:02.of John Lewis pulled Hello there. Now, we will continue
:10:03. > :10:06.to see showers filing in from the North Sea over the next few days,
:10:07. > :10:09.but they will be fleeting and we should see some brighter we`ther as
:10:10. > :10:13.well. The winds will remain light. That's how we see this evenhng.
:10:14. > :10:16.Again, the showers continuing, easing through the early hotrs of
