:01:20. > :01:22.They worry they'll lose out through the funding shortage.

:01:25. > :01:26.We have two fund our ice costs, travel costs,

:01:32. > :01:35.So, not having that funding would prevent us doing that.
:01:36. > :01:40.Disbility sports groups get money by applying for a patchwork
:01:41. > :01:41.of grants from sporting organisations, local
:01:42. > :01:45.But, the system can be complicated and it is not
:01:46. > :02:10.Groups like East Riding Electric Eels, powerchair football team,
:02:11. > :02:14.And there's a worry putting up prices to cover the funding
:02:15. > :02:16.shortfall would force people out of sport.
:02:17. > :02:19.It costs a lot to be disabled, you can't just go out and buy
:02:20. > :02:22.a pair of football boots, you are looking at five, seven,
:02:23. > :02:24.?8,000 cheque to play sport, but this could be the only thing
:02:25. > :02:29.It's hard to stay in the sport because it costs so much money.
:02:30. > :02:32.Without the funding we would be not able to make disabled people live
:02:33. > :02:34.as much of a normal life as they can.
:02:35. > :02:37.Sport England is the public body that distributes funding
:02:38. > :02:41.Disabiliy Sport Humber is still hoping for changes that
:02:42. > :02:44.For now they're focusing on fundraising to bring

:04:54. > :04:58.There are more than three quarters of a
:04:59. > :05:00.million homes in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.
:05:01. > :05:05.10,000 of them have been empty for more than six months.
:05:06. > :05:10.That is a better situation than how it was four years ago.
:05:11. > :05:12.There are now 260,00 fewer empty homes than
:05:13. > :05:17.There are financial incentives for councils to bring
:05:18. > :05:21.homes back into use which can be passed on to property developers.
:05:22. > :05:24.We are offering a grant of up to ?5,000, and encouragement to
:05:25. > :05:35.homeowners, or developers to bring that house onto the rental market.
:05:36. > :05:38.The idea is, for three years, the rent they are charging is an
:05:39. > :05:41.affordable rent, so it brings properties back onto the market at a
