0:00:41 > 0:00:4417-year-old Rhogan Jones from Goole and 16-year-old Levi Dickinson

0:00:44 > 0:00:46from Selby were passengers in a car when it hit a tree.

0:00:46 > 0:00:48Both died at the scene.

0:00:48 > 0:00:50The world came crashing down then, because I knew, I knew.

0:00:50 > 0:00:52Because she never, never, doesn't answer her phone.

0:00:52 > 0:00:53Always, she always...

0:00:53 > 0:00:55And I tried it 40 times that night.

0:00:55 > 0:00:58Today, Levi's family told me she was a special girl.

0:00:58 > 0:01:00Levi was fun.

0:01:00 > 0:01:03Very fun.

0:01:03 > 0:01:06I think she could come in on the darkest of days

0:01:06 > 0:01:08and make you smile.

0:01:08 > 0:01:10She never saw bad in anybody, no matter...

0:01:10 > 0:01:13It didn't matter who they was, whether they'd said anything bad

0:01:13 > 0:01:15to her, she would never say anything bad about them.

0:01:15 > 0:01:19She was...

0:01:19 > 0:01:22She was infectious.

0:01:22 > 0:01:24She was, very infectious.

0:01:24 > 0:01:27Tonight, they had a stark warning for young drivers and passengers.

0:01:27 > 0:01:31You've got to know the driver, you've got to be able

0:01:31 > 0:01:32to trust the driver.

0:01:32 > 0:01:34Just stay safe.

0:01:34 > 0:01:36Wear a seat belt, make sure you know the driver and...

0:01:36 > 0:01:40I don't know.

0:01:40 > 0:01:42Both teenagers have been described as popular,

0:01:42 > 0:01:45and mourners have left floral tributes at the crash scene.

0:01:45 > 0:01:49Tonight, Levi's church in Selby held a remembrance service for her.

0:01:49 > 0:01:53But her family say they hope their warning will encourage other

0:01:53 > 0:02:00teenagers to think before they get in a car.

0:02:00 > 0:02:03Exploding phone chargers sold by a discount company in Hull have

0:02:03 > 0:02:06led Trading Standards officers to warn businesses to carry out

0:02:06 > 0:02:09proper safety checks on all their products.

0:02:09 > 0:02:12Home Bargains continued to sell the chargers for months

0:02:12 > 0:02:14before recalling them.

0:02:14 > 0:02:16Katy Austin has more.

0:02:16 > 0:02:20It looks handy - a charger that can take two cables at once.

0:02:20 > 0:02:24This own-brand product was sold by Home Bargains,

0:02:24 > 0:02:27until one ended up like this the first time it was used.

0:02:27 > 0:02:29It did explode.

0:02:29 > 0:02:35It overheated and it couldn't retain its shape, basically.

0:02:35 > 0:02:39So it had blown apart.

0:02:39 > 0:02:42It was bought at this store in Hull, and the shopper took it straight

0:02:42 > 0:02:45to Trading Standards, who say it's lucky no-one was hurt.

0:02:45 > 0:02:52Most homes are protected by circuit breakers.

0:02:52 > 0:02:54However, those that aren't may have overheated,

0:02:54 > 0:02:59and there could've been a fire risk.

0:02:59 > 0:03:01Trading Standards told Home Bargains that a charger

0:03:01 > 0:03:04bought here had exploded in the same month it was bought

0:03:04 > 0:03:05in October 2015.

0:03:05 > 0:03:08There were about 38,000 of them on the shelves of Home Bargains

0:03:08 > 0:03:10stores across the country, but the company didn't stop

0:03:10 > 0:03:12selling them until January 2016, after further tests

0:03:12 > 0:03:18by Hull Trading Standards confirmed the chargers were unsafe.

0:03:18 > 0:03:21They had a safety certificate from China, but tests showed

0:03:21 > 0:03:24the chargers didn't meet UK safety standards.

0:03:24 > 0:03:26They were recalled, and earlier this month,

0:03:26 > 0:03:29Home Bargains admitted three electrical safety offences at

0:03:30 > 0:03:31Hull Magistrates' Court.

0:03:31 > 0:03:35It was fined more than ?22,000.

0:03:35 > 0:03:37In the last few years, there has been a lot

0:03:37 > 0:03:40of similar cases of these sort of charger products failing.

0:03:40 > 0:03:43Which means that companies should take greater precautions and carry

0:03:43 > 0:03:48out a greater number of checks to prevent these sort of things

0:03:48 > 0:03:50coming into the country.

0:03:50 > 0:03:53TJ Morris, trading as Home Bargains turned down our interview request,

0:03:53 > 0:03:54but in a statement it said...

0:04:02 > 0:04:05Anyone who still has one of these chargers is advised to send it

0:04:05 > 0:04:11back to Home Bargains.

0:04:11 > 0:04:13Seven teenagers with learning disabilities are being offered

0:04:13 > 0:04:17the chance of permanent jobs with the engineering company Siemens

0:04:17 > 0:04:19at its blade factory in Hull.

0:04:19 > 0:04:22Nationally, fewer than one in ten people with a learning disability

0:04:22 > 0:04:25will manage to find work, and some experts suggest the situation

0:04:25 > 0:04:27is getting worse.

0:04:27 > 0:04:30Our business correspondent Leanne Brown has more.

0:04:30 > 0:04:32Where's this blade going?

0:04:32 > 0:04:34This blade will be going to the North Sea somewhere.

0:04:34 > 0:04:38Getting their first tour of the site and the world of work.

0:04:38 > 0:04:40This group of young people with severe learning difficulies

0:04:40 > 0:04:44are at the beginning of their journey towards employment.

0:04:44 > 0:04:46We're seeing them coming out of their shells.

0:04:46 > 0:04:49One of our young people, Leah, the first time

0:04:49 > 0:04:52I met her she wouldn't even make eye contact with me.

0:04:52 > 0:04:55Today, she actually called me by my name.

0:04:55 > 0:04:59She was laughing and that is a huge step forward.

0:05:07 > 0:05:10I tried security for the last few weeks.

0:05:10 > 0:05:11Then I got into reception.

0:05:11 > 0:05:15You get to see the first people before they get in and make

0:05:15 > 0:05:16the impression for Siemens itself.

0:05:16 > 0:05:21And they are supported by mentors from the University of Hull.

0:05:21 > 0:05:23He's so good, it's really surprising.

0:05:23 > 0:05:26He's already made an impression on a lot of people.

0:05:26 > 0:05:27His personality reflects on everybody.

0:05:27 > 0:05:30As soon as he walks in the room, that's it, everybody's smiling.

0:05:30 > 0:05:33Those leading the project say with the right support

0:05:33 > 0:05:34they have a lot to offer.

0:05:34 > 0:05:38They've got a wide range of different needs, ranging

0:05:38 > 0:05:40from autism through to global delay.

0:05:40 > 0:05:43It's almost impossible for young people with special

0:05:43 > 0:05:47educational needs to get employment.

0:05:47 > 0:05:49They want to work.

0:05:49 > 0:05:53When I talk to employers, one of the things they most want

0:05:53 > 0:05:55is reliable employees who want to work and enjoy coming

0:05:56 > 0:05:57to work, and our young people do.

0:05:57 > 0:06:00Only one other company in the UK offers this kind of training.

0:06:00 > 0:06:03Ann has been trying out some office duties, but eventually wants

0:06:03 > 0:06:06to work with animals.

0:06:06 > 0:06:09I've been sorting out letters, writing the names.

0:06:09 > 0:06:14Cutting and stapling.

0:06:14 > 0:06:18It helps you to find a job, to get some good reference.

0:06:18 > 0:06:21Siemens are now hoping that other businesses will come and see

0:06:21 > 0:06:28what they're doing and replicate it.
