:03:24. > :03:29.all the volunteers ready to help out and everything else.
:03:30. > :03:32.So this is what we can expect over the next few weeks -
:03:33. > :03:34.leaflets stuffed through the letterbox,
:03:35. > :03:42.all from candidates who want to vote.
:03:43. > :03:44.I asked the Conservative MP for Brigg and Goole, Andrew Percy,
:03:45. > :03:47.if he thought people in his area would be happy
:03:48. > :03:54.Well I think, actually, people will relish the chance
:03:55. > :03:57.and opportunity to vote on the nature of the next few years,
:03:58. > :04:02.also importantly on those Brexit negotiations.

:04:08. > :04:10.want the Prime Minister to have a strong hand
:04:11. > :04:13.Unfortunately, the Labour Party, the Liberals are trying

:04:18. > :04:19.but everything you've wanted so far, you've got through.
:04:20. > :04:25.The House of Lords, which is unelected, on the very
:04:26. > :04:28.simple piece of legislation to simply say the Prime Minister
:04:29. > :04:30.has the right to invoke the referendum decision,
:04:31. > :04:34.That was on a really simple piece of legislation.
:04:35. > :04:37.We've got a lot more more complicated votes coming,
:04:38. > :04:42.that the House of Lords, Labour and the Liberal Democrats
:04:43. > :04:44.are going to try and thwart the will of the people,
:04:45. > :04:47.the people of our area especially, and make this really difficult.
:04:48. > :04:49.We have to strengthen the Prime Minister's hand
:04:50. > :04:54.If you are a traditional Conservative voter
:04:55. > :04:56.in your constituency, but you wants to remain,
:04:57. > :04:58.then you are not going to vote for you now.
:04:59. > :05:00.You're going to vote Lib Dem, aren't you?
:05:01. > :05:02.Well, I mean, the result in my constituency
:05:03. > :05:11.The polling is very clear that most people who are Conservatives
:05:12. > :05:13.who voted remain have accepted the result,
:05:14. > :05:17.and just want the Government to get on with it.
:05:18. > :05:19.Remain voters understand that the Prime Minister has
:05:20. > :05:22.to have a strong hand to get them the best deal for Britain,
:05:23. > :05:25.otherwise we will be disadvantaged versus the EU.
