:00:15. > :00:21.Now the council wants to develop the land but traders at the local

:00:22. > :00:28.Visitors arriving in Brigg by train are greeted by this.

:00:29. > :00:33.The land around the station has been left empty for years.

:00:34. > :00:38.If you go into town, it's a jewel, if you like,

:00:39. > :00:44.Trains only stop here on a Saturday, but campaigners hoping to improve

:00:45. > :00:46.rail services say visitors are being put off by flytipping

:00:47. > :00:53.The council says it's aware of the problems,

:00:54. > :00:58.Plans have been put forward to build apartments for older people here.

:00:59. > :01:01.However, the land is also home to a weekly market which would have

:01:02. > :01:07.Buyers and traders have been coming here for over a decade

:01:08. > :01:10.and while they welcome the upgrade, there's concern there won't be

:01:11. > :01:16.There is a lot of worry, a lot of worry, because nobody knows

:01:17. > :01:20.at the moment just exactly where the market is going to go.

:01:21. > :01:23.To build it and make it look nice for people getting off

:01:24. > :01:27.I think they should do something with it but I think they should

:01:28. > :01:31.The market is what brings people into Brigg on a Thursday.

:01:32. > :01:34.The council says the redeveloment is greatly needed and is hoping

:01:35. > :01:37.We did quite an extensive consultation with residents.

:01:38. > :01:40.They took the view that the market is an incredibly

:01:41. > :01:46.Relocating it to the top end of the site will give buyers

:01:47. > :01:48.the opportunity to build the old people's apartments,

:01:49. > :01:51.which we know we need to, while at the same time acknowledging

:01:52. > :01:55.If approved, it may take several years to complete the work.

:01:56. > :01:57.In the meantine, the council says it will crack down

:01:58. > :02:05.A farm machinery company is to close its site in Sleaford.

:02:06. > :02:07.The American-owned Great Plains Manufacturing

:02:08. > :02:10.blames a downturn in the worldwide agricultural economy.

:02:11. > :02:13.Operations at the Sleaford site will be phased out by early next year.

:02:14. > :02:19.It's not known how many jobs will be affected.

:02:20. > :02:22.Most people, when they were at school, may have made their own key

:02:23. > :02:24.rack or coffee table, but teenagers in Goole have

:02:25. > :02:27.taken it one step further by making their own aeroplane.

:02:28. > :02:29.This weekend, they've been at an airfield near Scunthorpe

:02:30. > :02:32.where they could all fly in it for the first time.

:02:33. > :02:40.It takes design and technology classes to new heights.

:02:43. > :02:44.It's been built by teenagers, but you shouldn't feel

:02:45. > :02:52.Loads of people telling us it's going to crash but,

:02:53. > :02:55.with it being built by kids, it's been inspected a lot more

:02:56. > :02:57.vigorously, so it's actually in better condition than a lot

:02:58. > :03:04.A beautiful day to gaze down upon the North Lincolnshire countryside.

:03:29. > :03:29.aircraft inspectors and aviation enthusiasts

:03:30. > :03:34.I've known some of them from the age of 12, when they were this big

:03:35. > :03:35.and now they're actually taller than me.

:03:36. > :03:38.They've gone from youngsters with little or no expectations

:03:39. > :03:40.to youngsters that know that they can achieve anything

:03:41. > :03:48.The plan now is for more fundraising so another set of children can help

:03:49. > :03:51.take care of the Spirit of Goole and maybe build a second aircraft
