:01:06. > :01:08.outbreak. Five babies have been taken ill. The nursery is at the
:01:08. > :01:15.James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough. It has been closed
:01:15. > :01:20.until the end of August. Our reporter joins us live. Five
:01:20. > :01:25.children under the age of two are now suspected to have contracted
:01:25. > :01:29.this disease. Tonight, four of them have been cared for at home, but
:01:29. > :01:34.one has been admitted to hospital. Let me tell you about this
:01:34. > :01:44.particular strain of E-coli. If you contracted, you can escape with
:01:44. > :01:48.mild diarrhoea. However it can cause severe abdominal pain. It can
:01:48. > :01:54.go on to cause serious kidney complications. 25 babies have got
:01:54. > :02:00.diarrhoea. The tests on those 25 are yet to be returned, so we could
:02:00. > :02:09.see the suspected cases rise further. Tell us about the nursery

:02:27. > :02:35.decision to close it until the end of the month. They say it is a

:03:08. > :03:13.infected child comes in, it can be very easily transported between
:03:13. > :03:18.children. What we have got to do is protect the children who attend
:03:18. > :03:23.nursery and make sure they are as safe as possible and that we
:03:23. > :03:31.restrict the potential for further spread. Obviously worrying for the
