:00:17. > :00:22.through the night to control the blaze at the Egger plant, the

:00:26. > :00:30.This was the scene that greeted fire crews as they arrived at

:00:30. > :00:33.Egger's Weyroc site in Hexham at around 10.30 last night. The blaze

:00:34. > :00:43.broke out in the energy plant where wood chips are dried and the oil

:00:44. > :00:47.systems are heated. It was difficult to control because

:00:47. > :00:52.it was in a large building and they did not want to put crews into that

:00:52. > :01:01.building for the safety of the firefighters. We have got the fire

:01:01. > :01:04.from outside. -- we fought. heat was so intense it took more

:01:04. > :01:08.than six hours before crews could even enter the building. Although

:01:08. > :01:10.the factory has had a history of fires, the last one was in 2009,

:01:10. > :01:20.this kind of emergency is considered rare by Northumberland

:01:23. > :01:28.Fire and Rescue. It is an unusual fire. This type of incident does

:01:28. > :01:32.not come along a lot. It is quite a tricky fire for us to deal with an

:01:33. > :01:39.can be quite dangerous. We have to put strict safety procedures into

:01:39. > :01:44.place. The safety systems worked and no one was reported hurt. It's

:01:44. > :01:48.now time for the investigators to do their job. Fire crews on the

:01:49. > :01:57.left the site a few hours ago and it is too early to determine how

:01:57. > :02:02.the fire started. the structure is still retaining a lot of heat but

:02:02. > :02:05.safety representatives will be meeting on location to work out

:02:05. > :02:13.just how this fire started and what they can do it was stop it

:02:13. > :02:16.happening again. A man has appeared before Teesside

:02:16. > :02:18.magistrates charged with child abduction. The 21 year old, from

:03:00. > :03:08.motocross team. It has exceeded everyone's

:03:08. > :03:11.expectations. It's a natural fit here, it works well on the site.
