:00:35. > :00:40.from Stanley was being driven by her grandmother when the incident

:00:41. > :00:45.happened on Valentine's Day. Police have described it as random and

:00:46. > :00:49.mindless acts. It happened on Friday night when a bottle was thrown

:00:50. > :00:53.through the window of the car being driven by the grandmother. Police

:00:54. > :01:00.believe that beer bottle was thrown from the darkness of this sub way at

:01:01. > :01:03.around half past ten. They say it was thrown with significant force,

:01:04. > :01:08.fitting the car's passenger window and shattering the glass into the

:01:09. > :01:14.little girl's face. The police officer investigating the incident

:01:21. > :01:25.emergency plastic surgery. Whether this was done on purpose whether it

:01:26. > :01:29.a mindless act, people need to think about the consequences of what they

:01:46. > :01:48.through more than 20 feet of snow as avalanche warnings were issued

:01:49. > :01:51.across parts of the Lake District Fells today. Five metre high

:01:52. > :01:54.snowdrifts covered the Raise mountain near Patterdale, with heavy

:01:55. > :01:59.recent snowfalls covering huts and the mountain side's ski tow.

:02:00. > :02:02.Pumping equipment's been sent from County Durham and Darlington Fire

:02:03. > :02:07.Service to parts of Southern England that have been flooded. One of the

:02:08. > :02:10.service's swift water rescue teams has also been based in the Thames

:02:11. > :02:14.Valley. Now, the coming week provides the

:02:15. > :02:17.last chance to see the most famous steam engine in the world alongside

:02:18. > :02:21.the five other remaining locomotives in its class. The Mallard and her

:02:22. > :02:28.siblings are attracting thousands to the National Railway Museum at

:02:29. > :02:32.Shildon. Andrew Hartley reports. The fastest steam engine in the

:02:33. > :02:38.world. 75 years ago, the Mallard hit 126 miles an hour ` a record that

:02:39. > :02:41.stands to this day. As part of the celebrations, the locomotive has

:02:42. > :02:45.been re`united with the five other surviving engines of this classic

:02:46. > :02:56.breed. Magestic stream`lined thoroughbreds. This is probably the

:02:57. > :03:02.last time the six iconic engines will be together in our lifetime.

:03:03. > :03:07.Steam enthusiasts have come in their hundreds to see this moment for

:03:08. > :03:10.themselves. we have had enquiries from all over the UK, we know people

:03:11. > :03:15.have travelled from across the world as well. People have been booking

:03:16. > :03:20.flights and contacting us about flight arrangements so we expect

:03:21. > :03:26.high visitor numbers and lots of people to be enjoyed the event. I

:03:27. > :03:32.spent my entire married life visiting steam Railway museums and

:03:33. > :03:39.the opportunity to see six of these in one place was not an opportunity

:03:40. > :03:42.to be missed. the sites and the smells of the engine, it is great.

:03:43. > :03:45.The six locomotives will stand together at the National Railway

:03:50. > :03:53.From homelessness to opera star ` it's been an extraordinary journey

:03:54. > :03:56.for one Tyneside woman. Tomorrow night's Inside Out looks at the

:03:57. > :03:58.charity Streetwise Opera which brings together people living

:03:59. > :04:03.through difficult circumstances to sing through their problems.

:04:04. > :04:07.Bridgette Foley who was homeless for a few months is one of the rising

:04:08. > :04:16.stars and says singing has helped transform her life. I think it is

:04:17. > :04:20.what you do get out of it. In all music, it can change a lot of

:04:21. > :04:26.people's life in totally different ways. Whether you can sing

:04:27. > :04:29.professionally or things to a certain standard, who cares, as long

:04:30. > :04:32.as you get something out of it. Football ` and Sunderland have been

:04:33. > :04:36.drawn away to Gus Poyet's former side Brighton or Steve Bruce's team

:04:51. > :04:53.Lamin Deen got off to a good start but crossed the line in 57.54

:04:54. > :04:59.seconds which put them in 21st spot after the first of four heats.
