:00:00. > :00:08.There's more throughout the evening on the

:00:09. > :00:14.Good evening. Durham Police say they've not given up hope that

:00:15. > :00:18.missing deputy head teacher Mark Bushnell will be found alivd. But a

:00:19. > :00:22.week on from his disappearance they admit they are no further forward in

:00:23. > :00:25.their search. Andrew Hartlex reports.

:00:26. > :00:32.Police, coastguard and mountain rescue ` today continuing the hunt

:00:33. > :00:37.for Mark Bushnell. The deputy head at Durham School was last sden when

:00:38. > :00:41.he left his home in Durham City a week ago. His grey Citroen was found

:00:42. > :00:47.here ` the car park at Blackhall Rocks near Peterlee. It is ` week

:00:48. > :00:50.since Mark went missing. We are hopeful people in the area who have

:00:51. > :00:54.not come forward as yet may have vital information. Today, wd have

:00:55. > :00:56.been out with British Transport Police and colleagues and police

:00:57. > :01:03.community support officers `nd speaking to people in the area who

:01:04. > :01:09.may have information. Is it fair to say the longer it goes on, the less

:01:10. > :01:15.hopeful you become? The longer this continues, the more difficult it is

:01:16. > :01:19.in terms of a positive outcome. But the search continues ` so f`r in

:01:20. > :01:23.vain. In the last few days, the hunt has been conducted over land and sea

:01:24. > :01:27.and by air ` still nothing that points to Mr Bushnell's whereabouts.

:01:28. > :01:38.And his family are said to be facing up to the chance he may not be

:01:39. > :01:40.found. Farmers are warning sheep rtstling

:01:41. > :01:43.is becoming a serious probldm. Seemingly organised and with

:01:44. > :01:49.hundreds of animals disappe`ring, it's threatening livelihoods.

:01:50. > :01:52.Landowners are now asking for the public's help. Cathy Killick sent

:01:53. > :01:56.this report from North Yorkshire. Take a drive through the relote

:01:57. > :02:01.parts of the Dales and this is a common sight. Sheep grazing on open

:02:02. > :02:04.land. This method of grazing provides a livelihood for f`rmers

:02:05. > :02:10.like Jack who has about 450 sheep or he did before more than 100 were

:02:11. > :02:14.stolen. We thought they werd rounded up through the night becausd we saw

:02:15. > :02:21.nothing suspicious in the d`y. We have not seen any carcasses

:02:22. > :02:25.slaughtered like some places. The question is where are they going?

:02:26. > :02:29.While some may end up on other farms for breeding, it is thought most end

:02:30. > :02:33.up sold cheaply to restaurants or individuals in an illegal mdat

:02:34. > :02:37.trade. For all I know, thesd sheep could have been dipped drenched for

:02:38. > :02:43.fluke, worms or parasite or be on antibiotics. During that tile, the

:02:44. > :02:52.meat is unsafe for eating. The thieves will not know that `nd they

:02:53. > :02:56.don't care anyway. If they `re offered cheap meat or anythhng or

:02:57. > :03:02.know if a restaurant is buyhng cheap meat, report it to the police. Sheep

:03:03. > :03:06.sold through the proper channels are traceable and safe for slaughtering.

:03:07. > :03:09.So many are going missing that it is now threatening entire farms. If the

:03:10. > :03:12.animals keep disappearing, the open grazing begins to become usdless to

:03:13. > :03:16.the farmer concerned and th`t makes it extremely difficult to rtn a farm

:03:17. > :03:20.on a viable basis. The sheep are specially bred and raised to survive

:03:21. > :03:24.on the moor. When they're stolen it is not easy to replace them. The

:03:25. > :03:32.cost to the farmer is far greater than the price of a few roasts.

:03:33. > :03:35.Parents of children with autism say they're delighted a West Culbrian

:03:36. > :03:40.cinema has been putting on special showings. The Plaza in Workhngton

:03:41. > :03:46.responded to a request from a local support group for screenings on

:03:47. > :03:48.Sunday mornings. Mark McAlindon reports.

:03:49. > :03:52.Cinemagoers would normally sit through trailers before the main

:03:53. > :03:57.film. Here it is different, designed for people with autism. The local

:03:58. > :04:04.autism support group for those affected by autism and their

:04:05. > :04:07.families. It is more of a rdlaxed atmosphere, we have the sound turned

:04:08. > :04:11.down a bit, people can talk freely and the lights are on and if people

:04:12. > :04:18.feel the need to move about they can. Parents and grandparents say

:04:19. > :04:24.it's been a great innovation. It is because they enjoy it. They like the

:04:25. > :04:33.big screen and they seem more settled watching a film on the big

:04:34. > :04:40.screen. Ask them. It is the favourite thing we do. He c`n act up

:04:41. > :04:45.like that whereas this he c`n do what he wants and he doesn't bother

:04:46. > :04:48.anybody. It is normal to brhng your child to the pictures. You can't

:04:49. > :04:55.always do that with an autistic child. They will run the shows every

:04:56. > :05:02.three weeks. Let's get the weather for the week ahead now, herd's

:05:03. > :05:08.Jennifer Bartram. Hello, it has been a blustery day

:05:09. > :05:11.for many of us across the North East and Cumbria. We hang on to the

:05:12. > :05:16.strong breeze through tonight. A fair amount of cloud from the west.

:05:17. > :05:23.There will be spots of rain or drizzle across the files for most of

:05:24. > :05:25.us it will be a dry but clotdy night. Temperatures falling back to

:05:26. > :05:31.around seven or eight. night. Temperatures falling back to

:05:32. > :05:37.A mild start on Monday, lots of cloud initially, some spots of

:05:38. > :05:41.drizzle, we keep a strong breeze. Gusty at times, mostly cloudy but

:05:42. > :05:47.some bright spots across thd north`east. Temperatures up to ten

:05:48. > :05:51.or 11. Through the next couple of days, Tuesday looks dry macro except

:05:52. > :05:55.across Cumbria where they'll be light rain.

:05:56. > :05:57.And that's it for now. I'll be back with the late news at 20 past ten.

:05:58. > :06:17.Have a good evening. Good evening. Apologies for sounding

:06:18. > :06:18.Southeast centric, but it is difficult when London had a high of
