:00:14. > :00:16.61`year`old Richard Hayne from Northamptonshire has been

:00:17. > :00:18.missing from nearby Glenridding since Wednesday.

:00:19. > :00:24.Police said the body was found at Browncove Crags just

:00:25. > :00:28.Keswick and Patterdale Mountain rescue teams had been searching

:00:29. > :00:32.the area along with the police helicopter.

:00:33. > :00:36.Durham has taken a step closer to being the only UK city`centre with

:00:37. > :00:43.An Archimedes Screw was lowered into place in a two`hour operation today,

:00:44. > :00:47.which will harvest energy from the River Wear, providing most of the

:00:48. > :00:50.power a new riverside development, as Damian O'Neil reports.

:00:51. > :00:53.At 13 metres long and weighing in at 20 tons, the Archimedes screw

:00:54. > :01:02.required a mix of delicacy and brute force to lower into place.

:01:03. > :01:05.It's a crucial stage in an innovative project that can't

:01:06. > :01:10.It's the only real, city centre hydro that there will be.

:01:11. > :01:15.It's unusual to have the right combination of the river and the

:01:16. > :01:20.In terms of the planning, we've probably been working

:01:21. > :01:25.The hydro`turbine is at the centre of a regeneration project

:01:26. > :01:27.called Freeman's Reach, which will accommodate commercial buildings

:01:28. > :01:35.Around 800 jobs are expected to be created or retained in Durham

:01:36. > :01:41.The ability to generate electricity on site was seen as a top priority.

:01:42. > :01:43.It's going to provide 75% of the energy for the

:01:44. > :01:46.That's from a carbon`neutral point of view

:01:47. > :01:50.Obviously, it saves on our own carbon thing.

:01:51. > :01:52.But also, in terms of keeping the jobs here,

:01:53. > :01:56.which is really what we needed to do, keeping the jobs in the city

:01:57. > :02:00.of Durham, obviously that keeps the spend in the city of Durham.

:02:01. > :02:03.Now that the screw is in place, the developers will have to dig out

:02:04. > :02:07.that bank and all of the rubble across there to divert the flow

:02:08. > :02:10.of the river through the concrete and then through the screw.

:02:11. > :02:15.They hope that this will all be in place by September.
