:01:52. > :02:02.As a fell racer, Steve Birkhnshaw is used to scaling the area's

:02:03. > :02:06.But even for Steve, this will be a gruelling contest to

:02:07. > :02:14.Both physically, just being out moving for 20 hours a day

:02:15. > :02:19.The last few days I'll be feeling exhausted.

:02:20. > :02:22.To carry on doing it day after day is really hard.

:02:23. > :02:25.It was first done by famous Lakeland fell runner, Joss Naylor,

:02:26. > :02:31.To put the scale of Steve's challenge into some kind of context,

:02:32. > :02:37.He'll run in seven days 320 miles, climb 36,000 metres.

:02:38. > :02:41.Every 24 hours, he'll run the equivalent of two marathons

:02:42. > :02:47.And every day, effectively climb England's highest peak five times.

:02:48. > :02:50.So this week will add to his huge pile of used traindrs,

:02:51. > :02:53.but will it put an end to his endurance challenges?

:02:54. > :02:57.It'll satisfy it for a year or two at least and then we'll see

:03:58. > :04:01.If it wasn't for CHUF, I wouldn't be here today.

:04:02. > :04:08.The death of Tiarna Middleton this week, the smallest and youngest baby

:04:09. > :04:12.to be fitted with a Berlin heart as she waited for a transpl`nt

:04:13. > :04:15.at the Freeman, has brought the unit?s work into sharp focus.

:04:19. > :04:23.There are a lot more new supporters for us here today which we will stay

:04:24. > :04:27.in touch with and hopefully raise more funds for the charity.

:04:34. > :04:37.in knowing their efforts will help other families in the futurd.
