:00:24. > :00:26.It was part of wider Armed Forces Day celebrations to

:00:32. > :00:35.Mike Warren flew Lancaster bombers during the second world war.

:00:36. > :00:38.Today he took to the skies to head to Gloucester, to be rdunited

:00:39. > :00:56.Mike Warren has been drooping of this day. Back in the cockpht, 0

:00:57. > :01:01.years after flying in the w`r`torn skies over Germany.

:01:02. > :01:07.Now, 88, he is on his way to meet up with the men he served alongside

:01:08. > :01:13.during the Second World War. I think that a lot of people that sdrved in

:01:14. > :01:18.the way that I did are really looking back all of the timd over

:01:19. > :01:29.their shoulder, and hoping that they, that people will not forget

:01:30. > :01:34.what happened in the years 39 to 45. Today's transport was different for

:01:35. > :01:39.Mike Warren who flew Lancaster Bombers. He was involved in more

:01:40. > :01:42.than 100 operations. The tales inspired many of the voluntders to

:01:43. > :01:46.take up the flying. We love taking the guys down there.

:01:47. > :01:50.Listening to the stories to get it first hand. To see what the guys

:01:51. > :01:54.have gone through. We do its is a way of giving something back to the

:01:55. > :01:57.guys. They fought for our freedom in the skies. We want to repay them and

:01:58. > :02:13.get them back into flight. For once, Mike was happy to be a

:02:14. > :02:17.passenger. He never imagined he would fly again. The experidnce of

:02:18. > :02:29.being back in the cockpit, he said, it was unbelievable.
