:01:57. > :02:10.passed through Knaresborough, where Phil Connell is tonight.

:02:11. > :02:19.How is it going Phil? Well after two days of some unprecedented scenes

:02:20. > :02:21.here in North Yorkshire, things are beginning to return to norm`l

:02:22. > :02:24.tonight. Hearing there but there are still a few signs of the totr, the

:02:25. > :02:26.still a few signs of the tour, the town was voted the best addressed in

:02:27. > :02:29.Yorkshire. This house here is Yorkshire. This house here is

:02:30. > :02:32.whether male lives and it is just one example of how North Yorkshire

:02:33. > :02:34.has captured the spirit of the grand depart.

:02:35. > :02:40.The Tour de France continued to spread joy throughout Yorkshire

:02:41. > :02:43.again today as Stage Two kicked off in York and through Harrogate

:02:44. > :02:47.and Knaresborough ` minus the local area's star attraction, Mark

:02:48. > :02:50.Cavendish, who crashed out just metres

:02:56. > :02:58.It's not possible to start, from a medical point of view.

:02:59. > :03:01.I'm absolutely devastated about it, because one, the Tour de France is

:03:02. > :03:04.in the UK for another two d`ys, and secondly we have an incredible team.

:03:05. > :03:07.But the race goes on and here, not not far into stage two,

:03:23. > :03:24.I think it means a lot for Yorkshire,

:03:25. > :03:27.just basically bringing people together, anything that brings

:03:28. > :03:33.This is way bigger than what I thought it would be.

:03:34. > :03:38.And after the incredible success of this Yorkshire Grand Depart, there

:03:39. > :03:41.are plans for an annual tour of Yorkshire which, if approved, would

:04:26. > :04:28.festival of the 1950s at thd They recreated a whole 1950s

:04:29. > :04:33.experience for visitors ` from getting your own "roll over" hairdo

:04:34. > :04:36.` to jiving at the local hop. There's also been

:04:37. > :04:39.the chance to admire and relinisce about some of the legendary gadgets

:04:40. > :04:43.and appliances which were all Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul

:04:44. > :04:51.was the hero for the Netherlands He saved two penalties to send them

:04:52. > :04:56.into the semi`finals, after coming on in the last minute

:04:57. > :04:59.of extra time for the penalty shoot`out against Costa Rica in the

:05:00. > :05:05.quarter`finals of the World Cup The weather prospects

:05:06. > :05:07.now to start the week. As we head

:05:08. > :05:12.into this evening we will still have a few showers out and about,

:05:13. > :05:15.but they will tend fizzle out and for many us, as we head overnight,

:05:16. > :05:18.it will become mostly dry. Northumberland holding onto
