:00:44. > :00:54.I am pleased that they have brought some of the bodies home

:00:55. > :01:00.Unfortunately, we are not sure who's arrived as yet.

:01:01. > :01:04.We hope William is amongst the first.

:01:05. > :01:07.Or, if not, we hope he comes very shortly.

:01:08. > :01:13.We need his body back here so we can give him a decent burial and we need

:01:14. > :01:19.to say goodbye to him and wd need to do that as soon as possible.

:01:20. > :01:23.Experts will begin to identhfy the dead now.

:01:24. > :01:28.It could take days, weeks or maybe months.

:01:29. > :01:33.Liam's father, Barry, and brother, Marc, flew to Amsterdam early this

:01:34. > :01:37.morning even if there was no way of knowing whether Liam's body

:01:44. > :01:52.After a huge 48`hour search operation, the body of 20`ydar`old

:01:53. > :01:54.David Zikhali was this afternoon recovered from the River Teds.

:01:55. > :01:57.He got into difficulty when swimming with friends in the river

:01:58. > :02:00.Tonight, his family described him as a kind

:02:01. > :02:19.This morning the search restmed in silence. This usually busy `rea was

:02:20. > :02:23.cordoned off. For a second day, the family watched every move s`ying

:02:24. > :02:36.they were still praying for AmeriCorps. It has been really tough

:02:37. > :02:49.for everyone. `` still prayhng for a miracle. Until you have the body, it

:02:50. > :02:56.is a feeling that everyone has. Whilst he was talking the police

:02:57. > :03:01.were telling family a body had been found. Minutes later a body had been

:03:02. > :03:05.found and the search was called off. Throughout the afternoon,

:03:06. > :03:11.David'sfriends gathered to pay their respects.

:03:12. > :03:26.It is hard to know I won't see him again. It is hard. He was a very

:03:27. > :03:34.bright person so he will be missed a lot. The friends said he had swum

:03:35. > :03:38.across the river before but he got into difficulties on Monday night.

:03:39. > :03:43.His friends were unable to find him after he disappeared under the

:03:44. > :03:49.water. As another safety warning is issued, another family is this

:03:50. > :03:50.evening mourning the loss of his son who died after swimming in the

:03:51. > :03:54.sunshine. Research by scientists from

:03:55. > :03:56.Newcastle and Oxford University indicates that children livhng

:03:57. > :03:58.near the Sellafield nuclear plant The study conducted between 196

:03:59. > :04:02.and 2006 looked at people under the age of 25 and concludes that there

:04:03. > :04:05.is very little difference bdtween cancer rates around Sellafidld

:04:06. > :04:07.and other parts of the country. The population around the Dounreay

:04:08. > :04:10.plant was also studied. It does, however,

:04:11. > :04:12.recognise a cancer cluster hn One little girl, Gemma D'Arcy lived

:04:13. > :04:16.in Cleater Moor and died Her mother blamed Sellafield,

:04:17. > :04:20.but a causal link was never proven. One theory

:04:21. > :04:22.for the cluster is that an hnflux of workers may have brought new viruses

:04:23. > :04:25.with them to a small communhty. Pressure group, Cumbrians Opposed to

:04:26. > :04:27.a Radioactive Environment, Scientists say the cluster dispersed

:04:28. > :04:56.well over ten years ago and this new First and foremost it will reassure

:04:57. > :05:03.the local populations. We confirmed the historical clusters that were

:05:04. > :05:06.found around Sellafield and Dounreay and we don't provide any

:05:07. > :05:12.explanation. It would be interesting to do more research but going

:05:13. > :05:16.forward, the incident rates are currently no differently ``

:05:17. > :05:30.different to what we would see nationally.

:05:31. > :05:34.A sixth`former from a Tyneshde school has died while

:05:35. > :05:41.The 18`year`old boy, who was a student at

:06:41. > :06:42.Each nation making it a homd from home.

:06:43. > :06:45.The athletes seem to be settling in well and getting

:06:46. > :06:46.into the spirit of things. The hub of the village is, `s ever,

:06:47. > :06:59.the It is exciting to see all the

:07:00. > :07:07.different people. It is likd living in an attic where I am but ht is a

:07:08. > :07:12.great buzz. It is the opportunity to meet people from other sports,

:07:13. > :07:15.similar minded but who have a wide range of experiences as well.

:07:16. > :07:21.Hopefully I will leave with a medal and some new friends fall is top the

:07:55. > :08:00.team here full top there has been a big investment in equipment for up

:08:01. > :08:08.they had to sit in here for ten minutes full. It is not ple`sant but

:08:09. > :08:13.it gives us a laugh. They are moving toward the limits of human

:08:14. > :08:18.performance. This type of area is all about making sure based day as

:08:19. > :08:21.well and injury free as possible. If a problem happens we get thdm back

:08:22. > :08:29.to the field of play after treatment. Importantly, we can move

:08:30. > :08:35.them from bronze to gold. The athletes are here and the vdnues are

:08:36. > :08:38.ready. And estimated 1.5 le`n people will be watching as Glasgow hosts

:09:32. > :09:33.of some showers and at Wilton cooler from the north. The national picture

:09:34. > :09:48.comes from Philip Avery. Unusually, I can say good morning.

:09:49. > :09:50.Wednesday has been noticeable for a number of reasons. From a

:09:51. > :09:55.meteorological point of view, it was the warmest day of the year for
