:00:41. > :00:45.and feel the true spirit of the Great North Run Day.

:00:46. > :00:48.I started to run the Great North Run yesterday morning

:00:49. > :00:51.and I've run nonstop with no sleep right throughout yesterday,

:00:52. > :00:57.This is my fifth Great North Run in 24 hours.

:00:58. > :01:01.So this is the one time of xear you are allowed to run around in a bra?

:01:02. > :01:03.Oh, you can do it anytime of thd year.

:01:04. > :01:07.But this is a great occasion, when nobody actually looks

:01:08. > :01:10.Somebody dressed as a giraffe managed to sprint past me.

:01:11. > :01:13.I could hardly breathe and I was like, it's a giraffe!

:01:14. > :01:19.It really is an amazing sight every year, isn't it?

:01:20. > :01:24.So many ordinary people doing extraordinary things for ch`rity

:01:25. > :01:29.and this year, one very special individual, because

:01:30. > :01:33.somebody in that sea of bobbing heads is the one millionth runner.

:01:34. > :01:35.In the elite race, Mo Farah avenged his narrow defeat

:01:36. > :01:38.last year, beating Mike Keegan to the line, but only just.

:01:39. > :01:45.But they are all winners, of course, the tens of thousands

:01:46. > :01:49.of ordinary people all nurshng aching limbs but basking in the glow

:01:50. > :01:58.of a job well done and millhons of pounds raised for charitx.

:01:59. > :02:00.And this year's event was the first race anywhere in the world

:02:01. > :02:06.The much anticipated milestone was marked just over three hours

:02:07. > :02:09.and 22 minutes into the racd and the honour went to

:02:10. > :02:19.1 million runners, 1 million stories.

:03:49. > :03:51.murder following the death of a man in Newcastle yesterday

:03:52. > :03:54.The dead man has been named as Robert Littlefair who was 24

:03:55. > :04:00.He was found in a house in Heaton in the early hours

:04:01. > :04:04.Danyl Dryden, who's 23 and of no fixed abode,

:04:05. > :04:09.He is due to appear at Newc`stle Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

:04:10. > :04:14.Seven other people who were arrested have been released without charge.
