:04:58. > :05:01.She just cannot do anything for herself.

:05:02. > :05:04.She would just be a prisoner in that chair if we

:05:52. > :05:55.spend whatever time they have got left, to spend together.

:05:56. > :05:59.This is not right, it is inhumane to do this to somebody.

:06:00. > :06:01.We can't understand how anyone could be

:06:02. > :06:04.This could happen to anybodx's parents or grandparents.

:06:15. > :06:31.and Ray to live together for the rest of their lives.

:06:32. > :06:33.Now, for generations it's t`ken a battering from the elements.

:06:34. > :06:38.And Lindisfarne Castle is showing the strain.

:06:39. > :06:41.Windows and walls are taking in water, so the castle's jtst

:06:42. > :06:45.As our News Correspondent Mark Denten reports -

:06:46. > :06:57.At Lindisfarne Castle today they try to move

:06:58. > :07:00.a fragile galleon model, among many other things,

:07:01. > :07:05.because the castle is closing for renovations until 2018.

:07:06. > :07:07.It's been battered by the elements for generations.

:07:08. > :07:12.Windows are leaking and walls peeling.

:07:13. > :07:14.The salts on the walls in the moisture are

:07:15. > :07:16.crystallising, breaking off paint, breaking off plaster,

:07:17. > :07:21.all this is coming down and shattering down.

:07:22. > :07:23.The cracks are being caused by the blistering and

:07:24. > :07:27.this is what we are looking to tackle, what we need to sort out if

:07:28. > :07:34.bit of work done here in about 570 it set her back about ?1,000.

:07:35. > :07:37.This time, the renovations will cost around ?3 million.

:07:38. > :07:39.But before they can even st`rt, 900 objects must be

:07:40. > :07:46.moved from here carefully, very carefully indeed.

:07:47. > :07:49.The National Trust can't just call on a mate with a van.

:07:50. > :07:51.We have a week planned for the move itself.

:07:52. > :07:56.best tides and we hope we get good weather

:07:57. > :07:57.and we will have a week for

:07:58. > :07:59.the move and hopefully that will be OK.

:08:00. > :08:06.John is one of the many voltnteers helping the move go smoothlx.

:08:07. > :08:08.It is the history and handling items hundreds

:08:09. > :08:20.In case you were wondering they have got the galleon

:08:21. > :08:23.boxed safely and if all goes to plan the North East landmark shotld

:08:24. > :08:31.be open again for visitors in March 2018.

:08:32. > :08:47.you are and in? It depends on if you are in the least or the West. Low

:08:48. > :08:53.temperatures around and seasonal averages mean eastern areas are

:08:54. > :08:57.above average and western areas are below average but above average

:08:58. > :09:01.sunshine. A mixed bag for October. In the first week of Novembdr

:09:02. > :09:07.tomorrow, there is a weekend which in store has a generally drx week

:09:08. > :09:14.but a bit cooler and a risk of overnight frost and fog. We are

:09:15. > :09:18.watching out for rain. It is edging from the north. Fairly patchy but

:09:19. > :09:22.misty and damp for many. More rain edging South by the end of the

:09:23. > :09:27.night. Temperatures dropping to five or six Celsius in the North. The

:09:28. > :09:31.northerly breeze will clear any remnants of rain and the cloud,

:09:32. > :09:35.giving us a fine, dry and l`stly sunny day. Despite the sunshine it

:09:36. > :09:41.will not be worn. Temperatures are some degrees down, because of the

:09:42. > :09:45.northerly breeze, typically up to 10 Celsius, Eddie Fahrenheit. Tomorrow

:09:46. > :09:51.and into the night it doesn't stay dry. Very little cloud. When you get

:09:52. > :09:55.shelter from the breeze, a touch of frost is certainly possible, we can

:09:56. > :09:58.see the blue haze on the map. Down to three or four Celsius but cold

:09:59. > :10:04.enough in the countryside for a touch of frost, Wednesday morning.

:10:05. > :10:08.Wednesday itself after a cold start, fine and dry, not a lot of cloud

:10:09. > :10:11.around and maybe the risk of the odd shower clipping the East Co`st.

:10:12. > :10:17.Otherwise a dry picture on Wednesday. Temperatures just

:10:18. > :10:21.scraping up to 10 Celsius at best. High pressure in the middle of the

:10:22. > :10:26.week but that will not last very long. This is up to the north of the

:10:27. > :10:29.UK and it is shunting this out of the way, bringing more cloud and a

:10:30. > :10:35.bit of rain heading into Thtrsday and Friday. As we headed to the

:10:36. > :10:39.weekend it will pick up the cold northerly wind. Thursday, gdnerally

:10:40. > :10:43.speaking, more cloud, espechally in western areas. Patchy rain `t times

:10:44. > :10:47.and breezy in the north-east, as well. Just about scraping into

:10:48. > :10:50.double figures. By Friday if anything it is cooler still with a

:10:51. > :10:55.fair amount of cloud around and still the risk of the odd shower now

:10:56. > :10:59.and again. Temperatures stick at roundabout nine Celsius on Friday

:11:00. > :11:01.afternoon. It also weekend, I will leave you with the summary for the

:11:02. > :11:06.north-east and Cumbria side. Strong northerly winds, some

:11:07. > :11:07.sunshine and also some rain
