:00:57. > :00:59.That was the last that anyone heard of her.
:01:00. > :01:07.The whole family today is deeply disappointed,
:01:08. > :01:12.A friend spoke this afternoon on behalf of of Claudia's
:01:13. > :01:15.At the end of the day the biggest problem
:01:16. > :01:17.is Claudia is not hear and
:01:18. > :01:19.nobody knows where she is, what's she doing, whether
:01:20. > :01:22.Despite the best effort of the police, it feels
:01:23. > :01:26.have lots of information but they still
:01:27. > :01:34.need that other bit of information which is going to bring
:01:35. > :01:38.The police said they exhausted every single line of inquiry over the nine
:01:39. > :01:41.years of the investigation and over the last three years
:01:42. > :01:44.There are also deeply frustrated and sympathise
:01:45. > :01:49.They believe somebody out there knows exactly what happened to
:01:50. > :01:52.Claudia on that evening but they have failed to come
:01:53. > :01:58.There is one line of inquiry left, it is a DNA profile that
:01:59. > :01:59.Yorkshire police have yet to investigate.
:02:00. > :02:02.It will take a further six weeks but after that the
:02:03. > :02:06.investigation will cease and enter a reactive phase.
:02:07. > :02:08.This has been an investigation of great magnitude, of massive
:02:09. > :02:17.lines of inquiry from CCTV to looking at Claudia's financial
:02:18. > :02:19.affairs, telephone records, speaking to new witnesses who came forward.
:02:20. > :02:21.We have applied new forensic techniques as well.
:02:22. > :02:25.Numerous house searches, ground searches.
:02:26. > :02:30.We have thrown everything at this investigation which we possibly can.
:02:31. > :02:33.The key challenge we have had is we have never been
:02:34. > :02:37.able to identify that primarily crime scene.
:02:38. > :02:40.That was the biggest challenge to the police,
:02:41. > :02:44.we have never been able to achieve that breakthrough.
:02:45. > :02:46.The Assistant Chief Constable, Paul Kennedy, told us
:02:47. > :02:48.today they will never close
:02:49. > :02:51.this case and he believes there is always the possibility they will
:02:52. > :03:03.Two men have been arrested after a gun was fired in a Sunderland
:03:04. > :03:07.It happened at the Ford Post Office on Hylton Road -
:03:08. > :03:09.where two men walked in and demanded cash.

:03:26. > :03:31.post office and one was carrying a shotgun.
:03:32. > :03:33.They demanded the staff behind a security screen hand over
:03:34. > :03:38.They refused and one of the men fired a shotgun.
:03:39. > :03:40.The staff were inside the premises behind the
:03:41. > :03:44.Can I take the opportunity to thank the staff for how bravely they
:03:45. > :03:47.They remained calm and contacted the police immediately
:03:48. > :03:56.which allowed us to attend the scene as quickly as we could.
:03:57. > :03:57.We have two in custody now and recovered the
:03:58. > :04:02.Early this morning, two men one aged 31 and one
:04:03. > :04:06.aged 45 were arrested on suspicion of robbery.
:04:07. > :04:09.Police say the use of a gun in the area is very rare.

:04:13. > :04:20.extremely rare and we have to go back many years when we had a
