:02:03. > :02:05.We hear of a number of reports of people who are abused

:02:06. > :02:08.and spat at, harrassed, intimidated, this is a

:02:09. > :02:10.problem that is seemingly getting out of control,

:02:11. > :02:14.one of the problems is that the hunt lobby organisation has

:02:15. > :02:17.refused pointedly to condemn or to apologise

:02:18. > :02:26.for these incidents and they are getting worse and worse.

:03:18. > :03:21.after a motorbike incident and told he would never walk,

:03:39. > :03:43.For the last three months he's been back in Thailand

:04:32. > :04:35.When we last filmed Andrew, he was starting to move his feet

:04:36. > :04:42.His progress, according to a stem cell professor

:04:43. > :04:48.Phenomenal to say the least, the fact he can stand for an hour

:04:49. > :04:53.with relatively little aid, little support, after such

:04:54. > :05:00.What we think is going on is that the injected stem cells

:05:01. > :05:02.were capable of providing what we call growth factors

:05:03. > :05:06.and other chemicals that induced the stem cells which already exist

:05:07. > :05:12.in Andrew's body to regenerate themselves.

:05:13. > :05:15.The doctors in Thailand now believe he may become the first patient

:05:16. > :05:20.with complete spinal chord injury to be able to walk again.

:05:21. > :05:23.Andrew hopes for even more than that.

:05:24. > :05:28.extremely fit and I've done the Great North Run so

:05:58. > :06:03.Gareth Dack described Norma Bell as a wonderful woman who he knew

:06:07. > :06:09.accused of trying to hoodwink the court, telling lies and bending

:08:32. > :08:37.It's about recovery, shall we say, instead of being drawn

:08:38. > :08:45.into the dysfunctional behaviours that drugs and alcohol

:08:46. > :08:50.I'm a drug and alcohol treatment worker here in Middlesbrough

:08:51. > :08:54.and what our clients are feeding back to us is that after recovery,

:08:55. > :08:56.after we've been through treatment, there's no social activities.

:08:57. > :08:59.So to have a place to come to where it's actually quite

:09:00. > :09:03.a friendly atmosphere and it's a great community environment

:09:04. > :09:07.for people to stay in treatment and in recovery.

:09:11. > :09:33.One thing they didn't need there tonight was any ice in those drinks.

:09:34. > :09:40.It's going to be another cold one tonight. Temperatures sub zero

:09:41. > :09:47.widely. Some patchy cloud around and clear spells. -2, minus three

:09:48. > :09:52.Celsius. The air coming up of the continent is so cold and dry. You

:09:53. > :09:57.probably won't see that much in the way of frost forming, the error is

:09:58. > :10:00.to drive. Tomorrow a cold cold start with sunny spells in the morning

:10:01. > :10:03.before the Clydesdale to increase from south-west through the day and

:10:04. > :10:10.most of us will end the afternoon and a fairly cloudy note.

:10:11. > :10:16.Temperatures up on today, making two or three Celsius. Some in Penrith

:10:17. > :10:19.might not four or 5 degrees. We will get a weather front coming in from

:10:20. > :10:24.the west over the next few days bringing rain, also introduces a

:10:25. > :10:30.south-westerly wind, temperatures should start to recover. This

:10:31. > :10:35.frontal system on Sunday, not sure exactly how far north that rain will

:10:36. > :10:40.stretch. Saturday, after overnight rain, cloudy skies, showery

:10:41. > :10:43.outbreaks of rain and with that south-westerly breeze, the

:10:44. > :10:48.temperatures should make seven or eight Celsius despite the cloud.

:10:49. > :10:53.Sunday, most places dry and bright, again at seven or eight Celsius at

:10:54. > :10:56.best with lighter winds. Some thicker cloud and the odd spot of

:10:57. > :11:01.rain in southern area later in the day. I will leave you with the

:11:02. > :11:03.summary for tomorrow for the north-east and Cumbria.

:11:04. > :11:04.weekend. It's swings and roundabouts, higher temperatures but

:11:05. > :11:15.some rain as well. Good evening. It's been dry so far

:11:16. > :11:21.this January but as it draws to a close it looks like we will see some

:11:22. > :11:24.rain at last. It's been an interesting today a bitterly cold in

:11:25. > :11:30.Norfolk, way we kept the grey cloud all day and the grey cloud gave a

:11:31. > :11:34.dusting of snow in places. This is a lovely picture sent in from Sutton

:11:35. > :11:36.Coldfield. Rob Wales and much of Scotland it's been a beautiful day,
