:06:04. > :06:09.It was just a big blur, to be honest.

:06:10. > :06:13.We started to discover different objects,

:06:14. > :06:21.this one first of all, and then the larger one there.

:06:22. > :06:24.We dug down 12 inches and we found it all lined up in a

:06:25. > :06:30.You can go one day and be out for four or five hours and come back

:06:31. > :06:34.Then you can go back to the same place the

:06:35. > :06:50.On that lucky day in 2014, Justin and his detecting partner

:06:51. > :06:52.Daniel found four Norse Silver rings and 16 trading ingots.

:06:53. > :06:54.They may have been brought from as far away as

:06:55. > :06:58.All part of a jigsaw which tells the story of Scandinavian

:06:59. > :07:04.You can hold and touch and feel them.

:07:05. > :07:07.We know that the Norse settlers were coming here and

:07:08. > :07:08.actually embracing the lifestyle here of Cumbria.

:07:09. > :07:23.We know they were settling here as farmers.

:07:24. > :07:26.How the hoard came to be buried or why the owner never

:07:27. > :07:28.collected it still remains a mystery,

:07:29. > :07:32.far captures imaginations, Justin and Daniel will keep looking for

:07:33. > :07:37.Football, and Newcastle are back on top of the Championship

:07:51. > :07:52.Highlights and reaction to that game in Look North

:07:53. > :07:56.Meanwhile, Durham cricketer Ben Stokes must be a very

:07:57. > :08:00.The all-rounder and new England Test vice-captain has become

:08:01. > :08:04.the Indian Premier League's most expensive foreign player,

:08:05. > :08:08.after Rising Pune Supergiants bought him for ?1.7m.

:08:09. > :08:10.It's around twice what he earns from his international central

:08:11. > :08:12.contract and sees him become the highest-earning

:08:13. > :08:19.Our weather forecast for the week ahead.

:08:20. > :08:22.We've been spoilt a bit Jen, but it felt like things

:08:23. > :08:33.Absolutely right. We have had 15 Celsius today across parts of

:08:34. > :08:37.Northumberland, but as we head through the week, we will see those

:08:38. > :08:41.temperatures tumbling and by the end of the week, we are looking at highs

:08:42. > :08:45.of five Celsius. It is a very unsettled week of weather. Spells of

:08:46. > :08:50.rain and strong winds at times and it will be turning colder gradually

:08:51. > :08:55.as the week goes on. Tomorrow morning, not a bad start. The winds

:08:56. > :08:59.died out overnight. Bright spells across the North East. Dry across

:09:00. > :09:03.Cumbria, but here it will be cloudy and the cloud will spread to all

:09:04. > :09:09.parts as we head into the afternoon ahead of a band of rain. Tomorrow's

:09:10. > :09:14.top temperature a little less than today. 12 Celsius in the sunshine.

:09:15. > :09:19.Tuesday night and into Wednesday, we have a band of rain pushing in from

:09:20. > :09:23.the West. It will be quite heavy and persistent. Some strong winds as

:09:24. > :09:27.well. That will start to gradually pushed away through by the time we

:09:28. > :09:31.get to dawn on Wednesday morning and the temperatures overnight will be

:09:32. > :09:35.dropping down to seven Celsius. Wednesday looks something like this

:09:36. > :09:38.on the pressure chart. We have a cold front which is gradually

:09:39. > :09:44.sinking southwards. The squeeze on the Asda buys indicating strong

:09:45. > :09:47.winds as well. A blustery day on Wednesday. Rain to get out of the

:09:48. > :09:52.way and then we will have a brighter day. Dry with blue skies and some

:09:53. > :09:54.wintry showers here and there, especially across the fells and it

:09:55. > :10:02.will stay quite windy. 8-9 C. Then, will stay quite windy. 8-9 C. Then,

:10:03. > :10:06.moving into Thursday, things change again. We are watching this area of

:10:07. > :10:12.low pressure moving in from the West. It will bring strong winds and

:10:13. > :10:16.a spell of rain and hail snow as well some snow could fall to lower

:10:17. > :10:19.levels as sleet so we will keep an eye on this one. There will be an

:10:20. > :10:24.improving day with temperatures again across some parts only up to

:10:25. > :10:32.six Celsius. Into Friday, a different day again. We're looking

:10:33. > :10:34.at a dry day on Friday, plenty of bright spills and colder. 4-5 C

:10:35. > :10:38.beehive. Just to recap, we are looking at a day of cloud and some

:10:39. > :10:43.outbreaks of rain tomorrow and then into Wednesday it will be more dry

:10:44. > :10:47.once the rain clears through. Thursday and Friday, we are looking

:10:48. > :10:51.at a fair amount of wet weather on Thursday. We will be expecting some

:10:52. > :10:55.very heavy rain in the forecast Matt will be falling as snow over higher

:10:56. > :10:58.ground. Into Friday, we are expecting there to be some sunny

:10:59. > :11:01.spells but it will be feeling colder, saw a very unsettled time to

:11:02. > :11:13.come. Here is the outlook As you have just seen, after a day

:11:14. > :11:16.in which some of you have been shedding the layers, you will be

:11:17. > :11:19.putting them back on for the rest of this week. Big changes ahead, all

:11:20. > :11:25.down to where the air has been coming from. Today, it originated in

:11:26. > :11:28.the Caribbean, hence the name tropical maritime air. Temperatures

:11:29. > :11:33.peaked at 18 degrees. But later this week, the winds go to the

:11:34. > :11:38.north-west, a different source, polar maritime air. Still over the

:11:39. > :11:41.sea, but from a colder place, so temperatures will struggle. Bringing

:11:42. > :11:46.about that change, a strengthening jet stream. At the moment, we still

:11:47. > :11:52.have tropical maritime air with us across southern parts of the UK.

:11:53. > :11:54.With it, lots of cloud. Moisture across parts of
