:08:29. > :08:37.Time now for the weather outlook for the week, with Paul.

:08:38. > :08:46.Thanks, Alison. A bit of everything as we head through the coming few

:08:47. > :08:52.days. Changeable weather were some rain and hill slope to deal with and

:08:53. > :08:55.some frosty nights as well. We have a frosty night tonight, some wintry

:08:56. > :08:58.showers around and things will ice over through the night. There's a

:08:59. > :09:01.Met Office warning for ice with icy stretches through the night and well

:09:02. > :09:07.into tomorrow morning. As though showers clear away, the winds will

:09:08. > :09:11.be liked and things will freeze over as temperatures drop towards zero.

:09:12. > :09:15.And icy start tomorrow. Some fog patches but essentially a dry,

:09:16. > :09:20.bright start. Eastern areas hanging on to the best of the brightness.

:09:21. > :09:26.Further west, proud and showers merging into that longer spells of

:09:27. > :09:31.rain. Temperatures peaking at around eight Celsius. That west to

:09:32. > :09:37.south-westerly wind quite brisk along Cumbrian coast later. Tomorrow

:09:38. > :09:42.evening, rain and sleet starts to clear southwards and we are in for

:09:43. > :09:48.another frosty, potentially icy night. Temperatures dropping back

:09:49. > :09:52.down towards freezing. That takes us into Wednesday. Should be largely

:09:53. > :09:57.dry, many places dry with sunny spells and just the odd, blustery

:09:58. > :10:02.shower on that west-south-westerly wind. With afternoon temperatures

:10:03. > :10:06.peaking at around eight Celsius. As we head towards the end of the week,

:10:07. > :10:12.it stays messy on the weather front as we head towards the weekend with

:10:13. > :10:16.low pressure dominating and the weather front is never far away.

:10:17. > :10:21.Fairly breezy at times. Certainly breezy as we head into Thursday. A

:10:22. > :10:28.windy day with gusting south-westerly wind, and places

:10:29. > :10:32.drying up again later, and temperatures up at around eight

:10:33. > :10:36.Celsius. Feeling colder, with that gusty wind. Friday not quite a

:10:37. > :10:42.windy, but rain spreading up from the south, some snow amongst that,

:10:43. > :10:49.over higher ground and at lower levels, temperatures around seven

:10:50. > :10:52.Celsius. Stay tuned for the latest and any detailed changes in the

:10:53. > :10:56.forecast as we head towards the end of the week and weekend itself, we

:11:13. > :11:17.According to one man-made definition, spring begins in a

:11:18. > :11:24.couple of days, but in reality weather does it own thing at its own

:11:25. > :11:25.pace. This was taken in Midlothian, a funny
