:00:16. > :00:28.A small village at the centre of a major police investigation.

:00:29. > :00:31.As we were filming, armed officers and police dogs

:00:32. > :00:34.were called into a house close to where the man's body was found.

:00:35. > :00:41.Detectives believe the victim knew his attackers.

:00:42. > :00:44.Upon entering the property they found a man who was tied up

:00:45. > :00:51.As a result of that he was identified as dead straightaway.

:00:52. > :00:56.The crime scene would have been shocking for anybody

:00:57. > :01:05.A short time later detectives confirmed they'd arrested

:01:06. > :01:13.a 25-year-old man on suspicion of murder.

:01:14. > :01:19.Detectives remain convinced that somebody in this community knows

:01:20. > :01:23.more about what happened and has yet to come forward.

:01:24. > :01:26.This afternoon a second person, a 19-year-old woman, was arrested

:01:27. > :01:29.on suspicion of murder and is now being questioned by police.

:01:30. > :01:42.to make more arrests in the next 24 hours.

:01:43. > :01:52.And the police have now made those two further arrests.

:01:53. > :01:55.A man aged 18, and a second man aged 19, bringing

:01:56. > :01:58.Police are investigating a rape which happened on bonfire

:01:59. > :02:02.Officers say the victim has only just felt able to come

:02:03. > :02:06.The 21-year-old says she was attacked by a man on Bath Terrace.

:02:07. > :02:08.He's described as in his early 20s with a ginger beard.

:02:09. > :02:11.Police say the victim bit her attacker on the cheek

:02:12. > :02:14.and the man is likely to have had a mark on his face afterwards.

:02:15. > :02:17.Police in North Yorkshire are urging motorists not to drive

:02:18. > :02:20.There's been a 70% increase in the number of motorists arrested

:02:21. > :02:24.for drink and drug driving already this festive period.

:02:25. > :02:36.This woman's husband was killed by a drunk driver last year.

:02:37. > :02:38.Yorkshire police released disappointing figures this weekend

:05:36. > :05:38.for many. Damp, too, in parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland but

:05:39. > :05:42.brightening up later. Subtle hints of brightness through the cloud

:05:43. > :05:45.elsewhere. It does stay rather grey and misty and all in all, a fairly

:05:46. > :05:49.cool day. We finish Monday with patchy rain and drizzle in eastern

:05:50. > :05:52.England which will push westward, some heavy bursts in and around the

:05:53. > :05:53.English Channel but clear skies through Monday night into Tuesday
