:00:24. > :00:31.The 70th British Academy Film Awards has drawn to a close and it's

:00:32. > :00:36.been a wonderful night, particularly for the film that has

:00:37. > :00:39.put Newcastle and its people back on the cinematic map.

:00:40. > :00:46.Ken Loach's powerful drama won the first award of the night,

:00:47. > :00:56.Incredibly, this is the first BAFTA that Ken Loach has one for a film

:00:57. > :00:58.in his 50-year career and, earlier on, when I spoke

:00:59. > :01:01.to him on the red carpet, he didn't even expect to win.

:01:02. > :01:04.Have you perfected your reaction face, when they

:01:05. > :01:11.It won't happen, so just don't think about it.

:01:41. > :01:45.An underwater search has taken place after a man went missing

:01:46. > :01:51.51-year-old Andrew Roy failed to show up for work on Friday morning.

:02:28. > :02:31.NHS England has come up with a report saying it is safe

:02:32. > :02:34.to travel up to four hours in labour in order to push through

:02:35. > :02:37.the closure of the services in Whitehaven hospital.

:02:38. > :02:40.It is an appalling report, it doesn't make logical sense,

:02:41. > :02:46.But the Conservative candidate says she is taking action

:02:47. > :02:49.What I have been doing is speaking with the minister.

:02:50. > :02:53.The Health Minister Philip Dunn and what we have agreed in writing

:02:54. > :03:00.is that there will be a professional, Government-backed

:03:01. > :03:04.And also, let me be clear, that the issue here is not money.

:03:05. > :03:07.Other candidates though disagree on the solution

:03:08. > :03:14.We have heard of consultants being told not to bother replying

:03:15. > :03:16.because they are being told there won't be a job here.

:03:17. > :03:19.We're not going to get recruitment under those circumstances.

:03:20. > :03:23.Whilst the Tories are taking money out of the NHS,

:03:24. > :03:26.both nationally and locally, we're not going to get people here.

:03:27. > :03:29.In Ukip policy, we have said we will waive the tuition fees.

:03:30. > :03:31.So we get sufficient staffing for the future.

:03:32. > :03:37.If we had implement our policy a few years ago,

:03:38. > :03:42.The Green Party says the problems are down to the way

:03:43. > :03:44.the Government's running the NHS, while Independent candidates

:03:45. > :03:46.say it's time to change the way the local hospital

:04:23. > :04:26.This cloud prevents these temperatures dropping to low.

:04:27. > :04:31.Just a cold, windy, cloudy start to the day tomorrow.

:04:32. > :04:34.If we do factor in this easterly breeze, which is going to be quite

:04:35. > :04:36.strong, particularly on the coast and exposed hills, it's

:04:37. > :04:38.going to really take the edge off those temperatures.

:04:39. > :04:41.On paper, yes, it is slowly turning less cold but it's

:04:42. > :04:43.still going to feel better out there tomorrow.

:05:23. > :05:28.lying snow will be blown around by strong winds starting to develop.

:05:29. > :05:35.The odd spot of drizzle into the far north-east. The wind strengthening

:05:36. > :05:38.here. Already signs of something a little bit miles, temperatures

:05:39. > :05:44.climbing up. However it's not going to feel that warm straightaway.

:05:45. > :05:48.Because of the strength of the wind. The wind however will break up the

:05:49. > :05:49.cloud, so some sunshine into central
