:01:29. > :01:30.A service has been held in Middlesbrough to remember

:01:31. > :01:37.Constable William Henderson is the only Cleveland Police officer

:01:38. > :01:46.He was shot and killed in 1893, he is buried here at

:01:47. > :01:53.Police Constable William Henderson was 37, a husband and father,

:01:54. > :01:56.and the only Cleveland Police officer to have been

:01:57. > :02:02.It's important to remember him and all officers that

:02:03. > :02:06.But I think it's also something to remember the fact

:02:07. > :02:09.that he is the only one and we are fortunate that this

:02:10. > :02:15.PC Henderson was shot was trying to detain a man...

:02:16. > :02:18.To mark the 124th anniversary of PC Henderson's death,

:02:19. > :02:23.a special service was held today at his graveside.

:02:24. > :02:26.It was organised by Cleveland's police cadets.

:02:27. > :02:30.It still shows importance, because it could happen again

:02:31. > :02:35.And if it does, it's just showing that police officers do care.

:02:36. > :02:39.And, like, they put their lives at risk to save yours.

:02:40. > :02:44.The service was a timely reminder of the dangers our police face.
