:00:26. > :00:29.but it says it will be forced to close by the end of next week -

:00:30. > :00:34.cutting off support at a vital time. Mark McAlindon reports.

:00:35. > :00:37.The Community Emergency Response Team UK used to be known

:00:38. > :00:42.In the wake of Storm Desmond, they helped stricken householders

:00:43. > :00:46.all across the county at least start to get back on their feet.

:00:47. > :00:50.But it seems time is running out at this, their Penrith base.

:00:51. > :00:53.We've no other funds available at the present and we can't

:00:54. > :00:57.knowingly take the charity into a defecit, so we have no

:00:58. > :01:00.alternative but as of the 28th of April to close

:01:01. > :01:05.The rooms here are all lined with supplies, and volunteers

:01:06. > :01:14.An example of a gentleman we've had in today, we helped

:01:15. > :01:18.furnish his property because all he had was a sleeping bag.

:01:19. > :01:21.We furnished his property and we've had to find him

:01:22. > :01:25.emergency food packs, etc, because he's got nothing.

:01:26. > :01:29.If the charity does indeed close next Friday, much of the stock

:01:30. > :01:38.Police are looking for a woman who absconded

:01:39. > :01:42.Donna Willis, who's 36 and from the Tyne and Wear area,

:01:43. > :01:45.is serving a five year sentence after being convicted

:01:46. > :01:48.of grievous bodily harm at Newcastle Crown Court.

:01:49. > :01:52.Northumbria Police believe she is in the north east.

:01:53. > :01:55.The group hoping to reopen a west Cumbrian private school which closed

:01:56. > :01:59.two years ago have held an open day to discuss their plans.

:03:03. > :03:06.now makes it popular with visitors, and when news of the damage

:03:07. > :03:08.was shared on social media, one local firm was keen
