:00:13. > :00:17.Her local a good evening from Look North. A man from Worksop who is

:00:17. > :00:21.serving a life sentence in the USA for killing his wife and baby is

:00:21. > :00:24.appealing against his conviction. Neil Entwistle was jailed for

:00:24. > :00:29.shooting his American wife Rachel and their nine-month-old daughter

:00:29. > :00:33.Lillian in Massachusetts in 2006. His lawyer appeared in court today,

:00:33. > :00:38.requesting a new trial. Neill -- Neil Entwistle has always

:00:38. > :00:44.denied murder but in 2080 was jailed for life for shooting dead

:00:44. > :00:49.his wife and baby -- in 2008. Prosecutors used his own statements

:00:49. > :00:54.to paint a picture of a cold- blooded killer. I didn't even call

:00:54. > :00:57.9/11 and call for help. Entwhistle grew up in Worksop. He moved to the

:00:57. > :01:04.USA into us and and five with his wife, Rachel, and daughter, Lily

:01:04. > :01:07.and. -- in 2005. Just six months later they were dead. Neil

:01:08. > :01:11.Entwistle claimed he found their bodies cuddled together in bed. His

:01:12. > :01:16.wife had been shot in the head. The baby, in the stomach. This

:01:16. > :01:19.afternoon his lawyer appeared in court to request a new trial

:01:19. > :01:27.arguing that the original jury was biased and the evidence unlawful.

:01:27. > :01:30.It will be several weeks before a decision is made.

:01:30. > :01:34.Detectives in Leeds have arrested a 61-year-old man on suspicion of

:01:34. > :01:37.murder. Police say they found the body of a woman in her fifties when

:01:37. > :01:42.they were called to a flat in Harehills area shortly after 1pm.

:01:42. > :01:45.The man was arrested at the scene and remains in custody.

:01:45. > :01:49.The three proposed bin strikes in Sheffield have been called off for

:01:49. > :01:52.now. The GMB union says it is suspending any action while voters

:01:52. > :01:58.are -- well members vote again on an improved pay offer from their

:01:58. > :02:01.employers, Veolia. The union will recommend the new deal is accepted.

:02:01. > :02:04.What restrictions have begun in some parts of north Nottinghamshire.

:02:04. > :02:08.People living in areas of the county which get their supplies

:02:08. > :02:12.from Anglian Water are under a hosepipe ban which could last all

:02:12. > :02:17.summer. Two unusually dry winters have left reservoirs and rivers

:02:17. > :02:22.below normal levels. Now sport. It is a crucial weekend

:02:22. > :02:26.for the Bradford Bulls. The Super League side have to find have a

:02:26. > :02:32.million pounds but tonight to stave off administration. -- half-a-

:02:32. > :02:37.million pounds. They are due to kick-off against Leeds rials. Tanya

:02:37. > :02:42.Ranald is that Odsal. Where are they with the fund-raising? As I

:02:42. > :02:45.came in and met the media manager who said they were around 380,000

:02:45. > :02:50.to going into tonight's game. There is bucket collections, there has

:02:50. > :02:54.been stuff going on here and they are hoping for a crowd of 20,000 or

:02:54. > :02:58.more, which could raise them up to 100,000. There was a huge auction

:02:58. > :03:04.held here last night with incredible memorabilia, some of it

:03:04. > :03:07.given by the opposition. Tonight, the Rhinos' coach and Julie Peacock,

:03:07. > :03:14.they auctioned off grand final winning shirts and rings. That

:03:14. > :03:18.auction raised about 28,000. We will know at 11:30am tomorrow

:03:18. > :03:21.exactly where they are at in trying to come up with half a million

:03:21. > :03:25.pounds, which will buy them ten-12 weeks as they try to stave off

:03:25. > :03:30.administration. Some amazing support there. What did the fans

:03:30. > :03:34.make of all this? I have to say there are mixed feelings. They have

:03:34. > :03:38.been rallied around incredibly, the whole of the Rugby League World has,

:03:38. > :03:42.it hasn't just been the Bulls fans. They are some more -- some would be

:03:42. > :03:46.well this as to how they have got here but they can't -- but they are

:03:46. > :03:50.confident they can get out of it. am gutted, I have been coming since

:03:50. > :03:53.I was 12 and I'm now 29. But his heart wrenching, this club has been

:03:53. > :03:57.around so long and you do not know what is going to happen. It could

:03:57. > :04:03.go either way. What is going to happen in the future if we get the

:04:03. > :04:07.money? How far do we go? Where do we go from here? The future, it is

:04:07. > :04:13.grim. All I can think is that they should go into administration and

:04:13. > :04:18.get it sorted and pick-up from there. Well, we shouldn't forget

:04:18. > :04:22.the is quite a big match here as Bradford take on Leeds. Both trying

:04:22. > :04:25.to get back to winning ways. They may have been a lot of sentiment

:04:25. > :04:30.running up to the match as everybody had -- tried to help each

:04:30. > :04:34.other but once they cross the white line that will be put to one side.

:04:34. > :04:40.Tanya Arnold, thank you very much. We will have the result of our late

:04:40. > :04:44.bulletin. Huddersfield stayed top of Super League, they beat them 36-

:04:44. > :04:49.ten for stopping cricket has been a difficult baby Yorkshire. One day

:04:49. > :04:54.two of their match the home side trail Kent by 505 runs. Football,

:04:54. > :04:57.some of our teams have been in league action today. The early

:04:57. > :05:01.kick-off sort Leeds travel to promotion-chasing Reading.

:05:01. > :05:05.His Shamir Masri. Leeds manager Neil Warnock had already said he

:05:05. > :05:08.would be gobsmacked if his team made the play-offs and he won't

:05:08. > :05:12.have changed his opinion. Zac Thompson saw red after just 12

:05:12. > :05:16.minutes. United did frustrate Reading and could have taken the

:05:16. > :05:20.lead. Ross McCormack and Robert Snodgrass came close. It was

:05:20. > :05:25.Reading and former Rotherham striker Adam Le Fondre who would

:05:25. > :05:29.find the net twice and inflict a second successive defeat for Leeds.

:05:29. > :05:33.Meanwhile Barnsley welcomed West Ham, who showed their strong away

:05:33. > :05:39.form early on as Nolan put the visitors ahead. It got worse for

:05:39. > :05:47.the Reds. Maynard double-dip and Noble got West Ham's said before

:05:47. > :05:50.half-time -- doubled it. Vaz Te made it four and attended 4-0. In

:05:50. > :05:55.League Two, Bradford needed a win against Southend to distance

:05:55. > :06:00.themselves from a possible Football League Dexit. James Hanson eased

:06:00. > :06:04.the Bantams' nerves after heading the opening goal at Bradford scored

:06:04. > :06:11.their second from the spot to make it 2-0 and move a step closer to

:06:11. > :06:21.lead to safety. Dashed lead to safety. Rotherham

:06:21. > :06:21.

:06:22. > :06:31.beat Wimbledon 2-1. Now the weather. How is it looking? Saturday will be

:06:31. > :06:35.We have seen rain, tomorrow is looking drive. Early this afternoon

:06:35. > :06:38.we have had patchy light rain and drizzle pushing down from the north.

:06:38. > :06:41.That is going to continue as we head through this evening and

:06:41. > :06:45.overnight, so cloud remains that enough to give further spots of

:06:45. > :06:49.rain and drizzle. The wind will be moderate from the north and

:06:49. > :06:55.temperatures by the end of the night will have dropped down to

:06:55. > :06:58.around two to five Celsius. It may be a cloudy, drizzly start to the

:06:58. > :07:02.day tomorrow. The cloud will then come we will see it brightening up.

:07:02. > :07:07.Sunny spells developing towards the coast. These will extend westwards

:07:07. > :07:12.as we go through the day. The Pennines stay cloudy. It is going

:07:12. > :07:16.to feel cold tomorrow. Temperatures around seven or eight Celsius, but

:07:17. > :07:20.there will be some sunshine at times on Saturday. Easter Sunday is
