:00:00. > :00:19.BBC Two in a few moments, asking what lessons the flood have

:00:20. > :00:24.First tonight. The wife of a Bradford man who vanished seven years ago

:00:25. > :00:26.says she's numb with grief after police revealed today that they

:00:27. > :00:30.think he was murdered. Saj`eed Sad`eek has not been seen since he

:00:31. > :00:33.attended a business meeting in February 2007. West Yorkshire Police

:00:34. > :00:36.have arrested two men in connection with the murder. His wife says she

:00:37. > :00:39.felt something was wrong from the very beginning. Emma Glasbey has

:00:40. > :00:42.more. It's been seven years since her husband went missing. Now

:00:43. > :00:46.detectives say they believe Bradford car dealer Sajid Saddique has been

:00:47. > :00:59.murdered. It is the news his family had always feared. ?? YELLOW I felt

:01:00. > :01:02.like something was wrong. Straightaway, when he didn't come

:01:03. > :01:15.home, when his phone was switched off. But, yes, it was a massive

:01:16. > :01:20.shock to hear it being confirmed. And I just felt numb. I just felt

:01:21. > :01:24.sick. Since then, every day, I feel an enormous amount of grief. I feel

:01:25. > :01:27.so sad. The last time Sajid Saddique was seen was on Valentine's Day

:01:28. > :01:31.2007. Police say he came to this ASDA car park for a business

:01:32. > :01:34.meeting. His car was later found here by his family. This was the

:01:35. > :01:37.diamond encrusted watch he was wearing when he went missing. It is

:01:38. > :01:41.another clue detectives are hoping will jog someone's memory. They've

:01:42. > :01:45.spent seven years trying to find out what happened. There are still many

:01:46. > :01:49.pieces of the jigsaw missing. I need to put together in order I can bring

:01:50. > :01:52.some closure to Asma and the extended family of Sajid. There are

:01:53. > :01:56.people out there definitely without a doubt that know what happened to

:01:57. > :02:01.Sajid. In fact, where his body was taken following the murder. It's not

:02:02. > :02:06.been the same. Family life has completely changed. There are people

:02:07. > :02:15.that are responsible out there. Justice needs to be done. It is very

:02:16. > :02:18.important. It was also revealed today that two men have been

:02:19. > :02:19.arrested in connection with this case. They were picked up this

:02:20. > :02:32.morning and are now being questioned In other news, part of a building

:02:33. > :02:41.has collapsed after a 25`foot sinkhole appeared in Ripon. The hole

:02:42. > :02:44.appeared earlier this evening in Magdalen's Close. There was no`one

:02:45. > :02:48.in the building at the time, but a dog was successfully rescued from

:02:49. > :02:52.the house. Nearby residents have been evacuated as a precaution and

:02:53. > :02:55.the area has been cordoned off by police. Mining experts are now on

:02:56. > :03:01.their way to assess the situation. The householder return to his house

:03:02. > :03:04.at about half past five tonight and there were some subsidies under the

:03:05. > :03:09.back garden and he had not been sure what happened, then he saw that some

:03:10. > :03:13.large cracks had appealed on the lawn, and down the side of the

:03:14. > :03:21.house. Then the side of the house started coming away from the main

:03:22. > :03:24.part of the building. The famous concert pianist, John Briggs from

:03:25. > :03:28.Bingley in West Yorkshire has gone on trial accused of indecent

:03:29. > :03:31.assaults during a 25 year period on five boys, then aged between ten and

:03:32. > :03:34.25. The alleged offences were between 1969 and 1993. It's claimed

:03:35. > :03:37.the assaults took place against boys when Mr Briggs, seen here in the

:03:38. > :03:41.middle, was giving them private music lessons at his home. Other

:03:42. > :03:44.alleged victims were said to have been boys at the Keighley Sea

:03:45. > :03:46.Cadets, where Mr Briggs was president. He denies all the

:03:47. > :03:49.accusations. The government's being asked to spend at least ?5 million

:03:50. > :03:53.on fixing North Yorkshire's roads. The County Council says a quarter of

:03:54. > :03:57.its minor roads ` that's about 3,000 miles ` are in urgent need of

:03:58. > :03:59.repairs, and it's rapidly becoming a crisis. Council leader John Wheel

:04:00. > :04:10.has written to the Transport Minister asking for investment.

:04:11. > :04:12.Anti`fracking campaigners have held a public meeting about the

:04:13. > :04:16.possibility of controversial gas extraction techniques being used in

:04:17. > :04:20.the York area. It was the first chance for people in the City to

:04:21. > :04:22.quiz the UK head of Dart Energy which holds exploration licenses for

:04:23. > :04:25.part of the City. Our business correspondent Danni Hewson went

:04:26. > :04:28.along and sent back this report. The meeting that are still going on

:04:29. > :04:32.behind me has been organised as a chance for people in York to ask

:04:33. > :04:37.question is about fracking. The British geological survey has found

:04:38. > :04:42.there are vast reserves of shale gas underneath Yorkshire and many of

:04:43. > :04:45.those errors are already under licence. Dart Energy owns the

:04:46. > :04:53.license that covers part of York, and they have coming here to talk to

:04:54. > :04:58.people. I spoke to both groups and ask them why they thought that mean

:04:59. > :05:02.things like this were important. We are concerned about the amount of

:05:03. > :05:07.water use, we are concerned about water pollution into the aquifers,

:05:08. > :05:12.the amount of chemicals being used, lorry movements, the

:05:13. > :05:20.industrialisation of the countryside and the big one is, should we be

:05:21. > :05:23.extracting more fossil fuels? There is a groundswell who do not like the

:05:24. > :05:28.concept of fracking because they do not understand what it entails, and

:05:29. > :05:35.these groups are very much against fossil fuels. They have been able to

:05:36. > :05:38.grab the centre and suggest that fracking is something that it is

:05:39. > :05:45.not, and that is why tonight is a very important night. So far, two

:05:46. > :05:49.has not put in any applications to begin exploratory process that would

:05:50. > :05:55.lead to fracking, but they are considering their options. Tonight,

:05:56. > :05:59.mixed messages. A gamble that we don't need today, or do we need gas,

:06:00. > :06:05.that is the bottom line first remark if it takes a step closer to

:06:06. > :06:12.becoming reality in Yorkshire, there will be many more meetings like this

:06:13. > :06:16.one. And finally ` you may may remember the London MP who had the

:06:17. > :06:19.people of Sheffield on his back for saying Henderson's Relish was a copy

:06:20. > :06:22.of Worcester Sauce. Jim Dowd has been to Sheffield to sample the

:06:23. > :06:26.sauce. On a tour around the factory, he even got involved, and it appears

:06:27. > :06:29.he's a convert. Subsequently I have had it on numerous occasions and I

:06:30. > :06:39.find it fine. We had it for lunch today, we had Henderson's Pie. And

:06:40. > :06:43.it was excellent. Time now for the weather forecast. Generally, it has

:06:44. > :06:55.been a quiet week. You can see on the pressure charts

:06:56. > :06:59.tomorrow, not a particularly breezy day, and that is a theme for the

:07:00. > :07:04.next few days. We have outbreaks of rain and drizzle followed by the odd

:07:05. > :07:10.shower, but generally, a dry night developing with some missed, low

:07:11. > :07:15.cloud and hillfort possible. Temperatures around seven Celsius.

:07:16. > :07:22.Tomorrow, some of that low cloud and mist will linger. It should

:07:23. > :07:27.brighten, into the afternoon. And temperatures up at around nine or 10

:07:28. > :07:31.Celsius. That breeze will be like, with a few showers on Wednesday, and

:07:32. > :07:34.then rainy, into Thursday. I will leave you with the summary for the

:07:35. > :07:36.week ahead, and Nina
