:00:00. > :00:11.Thank you. Good evening. Welcome to Tuesdays's Look North.

:00:12. > :00:14.Tonight, imagine coming home to this.

:00:15. > :00:16.We're live in Ripon where a massive sinkhole has appeared, threatening

:00:17. > :00:18.to destroy this house completely. We ask geologists how this could

:00:19. > :00:21.have happened. Also tonight...

:00:22. > :00:33.A Valentine's scam, the Thirsk couple conned out of money for

:00:34. > :00:36.luxury lodge that didn't exist. And join us later over Chesterfield

:00:37. > :00:44.look to make their next Wembley final.

:00:45. > :00:48.And we had some sunshine today, it was mild with some more mild weather

:00:49. > :00:58.on the cards, we have a full forecast later in the programme.

:00:59. > :01:03.Part of Ripon remains cordoned off tonight after a sink hole appeared

:01:04. > :01:07.next to houses. It's feared one house in particular could be

:01:08. > :01:10.swallowed up. No`one has been injured, but people living nearby

:01:11. > :01:13.say they're worried their homes could be next. Sink holes are common

:01:14. > :01:18.in the Ripon area, where many houses are built on gypsum rock. Ian White

:01:19. > :01:25.has spent the day at the scene and joins us now from Ripon.

:01:26. > :01:30.Good evening. It has been 24 hours of drama here, and today we have

:01:31. > :01:33.been playing well can only be described as the watching and

:01:34. > :01:37.waiting game to see what will happen to the property in question. If the

:01:38. > :01:42.cameraman can zoom in behind us, you can see what you're talking about.

:01:43. > :01:46.Part of the house is hanging down, hanging away from the main part of

:01:47. > :01:51.the house, and we're not sure when or if that will fall down. It has

:01:52. > :01:55.been a watching and waiting game and for the people living here, it is

:01:56. > :01:59.very worrying. Imagine if this was your home. This

:02:00. > :02:04.house has stood in Ripon for 100 years and today, structural

:02:05. > :02:07.Indonesia is assessing if it should be pulled down.

:02:08. > :02:11.Indonesia is assessing if it should engineers were assessing. A sinkhole

:02:12. > :02:15.calls part of it to fall away. For the woman living next door, it was a

:02:16. > :02:20.worrying time as she waits to hear what is happening. They advised me

:02:21. > :02:24.to stay out of the property while they assess what is happening to the

:02:25. > :02:29.land and the surrounding properties. I only just moved in a

:02:30. > :02:33.week ago and Saturday. So, it is quite a shock. Around the corner,

:02:34. > :02:38.these youngsters could see the drama unfolding from their driveway. I

:02:39. > :02:42.feel so sorry for these people, because it is so awful to have part

:02:43. > :02:47.of the house disappearing, and it is so close to us. You hear of it on

:02:48. > :02:52.the news, but this is so close to where we are living, it could so

:02:53. > :02:57.easily be one of our houses. Ripon is no stranger to sinkhole problems,

:02:58. > :03:03.this was the spectacular scene in 1997 when a garden was swallowed up

:03:04. > :03:07.as children were playing nearby. There is about 30 metres of chips

:03:08. > :03:15.beneath the area, and there is a cave system with water. It can

:03:16. > :03:19.dissolve very quickly, so although, there is a good, heavy solid rock,

:03:20. > :03:24.it can dissolve and the amount of ground water going through and

:03:25. > :03:27.coming up as springs in the river, that is dissolving it and causing

:03:28. > :03:34.the case to get bigger and sinkhole is to develop. Last week, plans for

:03:35. > :03:40.75 new homes on land 's close to the effect of property were thrown out

:03:41. > :03:44.by the council, but extensive testing has been going on.

:03:45. > :03:48.Well, the land in question for those 75 new homes, they would have been

:03:49. > :03:52.on the old cattle market site here in Ripon. You can imagine what would

:03:53. > :03:56.have happened if the planning had gone ahead. Emily, you live close

:03:57. > :04:01.by, you can see it from your driveway, you must be very worried

:04:02. > :04:04.about what happened. Yes, shocked that it happened so close to where

:04:05. > :04:10.we live. You hear about it around the country in recent months, but to

:04:11. > :04:17.see that cute crack this morning, a bit of a shock. Whatever the people

:04:18. > :04:23.said in the area? `` what have other people said? Well, we knew there was

:04:24. > :04:27.a problem, but with the planning for these new houses, it was a bit of a

:04:28. > :04:32.worry, but now that this has happened, we think it is lucky that

:04:33. > :04:35.it is not happening at the moment. You have to live with the fact that

:04:36. > :04:43.it is right on your doorstep, and nobody knows who could be next X

:04:44. > :04:48.back yes, absolutely. We're just keeping our fingers crossed that it

:04:49. > :04:52.doesn't happen again. Jonathan, you have been to lots of meetings in the

:04:53. > :05:00.area, it must be very worrying for you also. Yes, absolutely, the

:05:01. > :05:06.water, the Harrogate council, they were going to build in the area,

:05:07. > :05:14.there was gypsum on the side, they cannot really build these houses. It

:05:15. > :05:18.was rejected because of the gypsum. They had rejected not to build it,

:05:19. > :05:26.particularly at the Yorkshire market and the farm shop. And it has now

:05:27. > :05:29.been rejected, so, we're waiting to see what will happen tomorrow, you

:05:30. > :05:35.will all be back at watching very closely again. Yes, it has been a

:05:36. > :05:43.long day today, we will see what happens overnight. We found a new

:05:44. > :05:48.job for you today. Yes, we usually work a guest house, but no, it has

:05:49. > :05:56.become a press has, we have been feeding all of the press! `` press

:05:57. > :05:59.house. Yes, and thank you for that, back to the studio.

:06:00. > :06:02.Meanwhile, East Midlands Trains services between Sheffield and

:06:03. > :06:05.London are being disrupted after a landslip in North Derbyshire. One of

:06:06. > :06:08.the lines close to the village of Unstone is being closed after the

:06:09. > :06:12.hillside above the railway became unstable. Network Rail says the line

:06:13. > :06:15.will have to remain closed until the hill is made safe.

:06:16. > :06:18.Coming up later on the programme... 'Made in Yorkshire', why the

:06:19. > :06:24.region's finest threads are setting the style on the capital's catwalks.

:06:25. > :06:27.A young couple from Thirsk have lost hundreds of pounds after becoming

:06:28. > :06:30.victims of a fraud involving a fictitious holiday home in the

:06:31. > :06:33.Highlands. Laura Parks booked a Valentine's weekend through

:06:34. > :06:36.facebook, but when she and her husband tried to find the luxury

:06:37. > :06:39.cottages on the banks of Loch Ness, they didn't actually exist. The

:06:40. > :06:42.website was bogus and there's little chance they'll get their money back.

:06:43. > :06:51.Charlotte Leeming's been to meet them.

:06:52. > :06:56.Luxury lodges on the banks of Loch Ness, the website promises a

:06:57. > :07:00.romantic getaway in the high lands. For this young couple who are often

:07:01. > :07:04.a party too to his Army career, it seems like the perfect way to spend

:07:05. > :07:09.their first Valentine's Day together, but there is just one

:07:10. > :07:14.problem. The place doesn't actually exist. They took a up this road, it

:07:15. > :07:20.said to turn left, and we turned left, and it's just turned into

:07:21. > :07:25.attack and we ended up in somebody's house, which obviously wasn't very

:07:26. > :07:29.wanted. We went to a local hotel to see if they heard of it, because it

:07:30. > :07:37.is spent to be have been here since 2011. We were advised it wasn't

:07:38. > :07:42.looking great. The website was bogus, the photographs of another

:07:43. > :07:47.hotel. The couple had spent ?375 on the weekend that because Laura

:07:48. > :07:50.doesn't a credit card, she paid by direct bank transfer, which means it

:07:51. > :07:55.is unlikely she will get her money back. We always recommend that you

:07:56. > :08:00.pay using a credit card because it gives you additional protection, but

:08:01. > :08:06.fundamentally before you book in advance, where you can protect

:08:07. > :08:10.yourself against these particular fraudsters, you should look at

:08:11. > :08:14.Google and Google maps and those kinds of things, and definitely,

:08:15. > :08:21.look online for any history before you make the booking. Unfortunately,

:08:22. > :08:24.this case isn't unique. I contacted the police in Scotland and they said

:08:25. > :08:29.they have had other complaints about this specific website. Laura booked

:08:30. > :08:35.through a man called Keven Beaumont and I'm going to give him a ring now

:08:36. > :08:40.and see what he has to say about all of this. It has gone straight to

:08:41. > :08:43.answerphone. Hello, Mr Beaumont, I am calling from BBC look North, I

:08:44. > :08:48.wonder if you could give me a call back, I am making some enquiries

:08:49. > :08:52.about a website that you have about holiday lodges as Larkin S, which

:08:53. > :09:00.don't exist. I hope you can call me back, you have my number.

:09:01. > :09:06.We will see what happens. He did not return any calls.

:09:07. > :09:11.If something comes up about luxury cabins and Loch Ness, be very, very

:09:12. > :09:16.careful. There are some there that are very beautiful, but be careful

:09:17. > :09:18.who you are booking with. This should have been a romantic Highland

:09:19. > :09:25.Fling, instead, their Valentines weekend will be remembered for all

:09:26. > :09:28.of the wrong reasons. Well, this is not uncommon.

:09:29. > :09:31.Well, Sean Tipton is from the Association of British Travel

:09:32. > :09:37.Agents. How common does he think this type of internet scam is?

:09:38. > :09:40.Unfortunately, this is a growing problem, particularly for scrupulous

:09:41. > :09:47.individuals offering accommodation online. It is very easy for a

:09:48. > :09:50.fraudster to pretend that they own a property are put a picture of a

:09:51. > :10:00.beautiful property that is nothing to do with them, and sometimes take

:10:01. > :10:02.large sums of money from people, so it is a growing problem. What

:10:03. > :10:08.protection do we have are people that fall victim of this kind of

:10:09. > :10:18.scam? Firstly, look for membership of an association like appetiser,

:10:19. > :10:24.also, paid by these. `` an association like a crew. You should

:10:25. > :10:28.pay by credit card, if they turn to a fraudster, and you do not pay by

:10:29. > :10:32.credit card, you could lose the money. If you feel that a company is

:10:33. > :10:38.making an offer to you that is too good to be true, though online and

:10:39. > :10:41.make a quick check. If you're feeling is correct, other people

:10:42. > :10:46.might have the same feeling, if you feel that you're been caught out,

:10:47. > :10:50.then contact action fraud, the area of the which is set up to make sure

:10:51. > :10:58.that people do not get away with this. `` the area for the police.

:10:59. > :11:07.How easy is it to investigate this problem? They are doing a great job

:11:08. > :11:15.of investigating fraud, if you feel you have been a victim of fraudster,

:11:16. > :11:18.then get in touch with them. The best way to avoid this problem is to

:11:19. > :11:22.pay by credit card, look for membership of an association and do

:11:23. > :11:25.not ever pay by bank transfer. Next tonight, it took almost a

:11:26. > :11:29.decade of dedicated work and a great deal of money to bring Red Kites

:11:30. > :11:32.back to Yorkshire. These spectacular birds of prey are protected by law,

:11:33. > :11:35.but sadly they're still at risk from illegal killings. Danny Carpenter

:11:36. > :11:43.has been following the investigation into one of those attacks.

:11:44. > :11:48.This is a site denied to many generations, a red kite flying free

:11:49. > :11:54.in the Yorkshire sky. These beautiful birds were persecuted to

:11:55. > :11:58.the edge of extinction, but they were brought back. In 1999, an

:11:59. > :12:04.ambitious reintroduction programme was started at Harwood house. It was

:12:05. > :12:09.a spectacular conservation success. But clearly, not everyone is

:12:10. > :12:17.pleased. This bird was shot near the river. Sadly, he has been shot by

:12:18. > :12:24.the river, he was shot through the wing. It has tipped a bit of the

:12:25. > :12:28.wing at the side and the bullet has gone straight through. It is an

:12:29. > :12:33.unusual crime, but it is not unknown. In 2012, five birds of prey

:12:34. > :12:37.were illegally killed in west Yorkshire, there were three in South

:12:38. > :12:42.Yorkshire, 34 in North Yorkshire and in Derbyshire, which includes the

:12:43. > :12:47.Peak District, 14. Months of investigation into this killing have

:12:48. > :12:57.so far yielded very little. The area that we're in today, it may be

:12:58. > :13:02.covered by land overs, and they are difficult to trace. `` by

:13:03. > :13:05.landowners. They need everybody who enjoys the countryside to be their

:13:06. > :13:10.eyes and ears. Anything suspicious should be reported.

:13:11. > :13:21.In other news, 650 jobs may go at Bradford Council as it tries to

:13:22. > :13:24.balance its budget. Spending by the council is being cut by ?54 million

:13:25. > :13:28.over the next two years. Libraries and public toilets will receive less

:13:29. > :13:31.money, but council tax will go up. Leader of the Labour council, David

:13:32. > :13:33.Green says Bradford is being "absolutely hammered" by government

:13:34. > :13:36.cuts. The council's budget will be agreed later this week.

:13:37. > :13:39.Detectives say they're investigating the unexplained death of a woman

:13:40. > :13:43.whose body was found in a canal. The woman, who's thought to be aged

:13:44. > :13:46.around 70, was found at Kildwick near Keighley this morning. Police

:13:47. > :13:50.believe she may have spent some time in a local pub on Monday afternoon

:13:51. > :13:54.and been seen near the canal late on Monday night. They're appealing for

:13:55. > :13:57.help in tracing her movements. Journalists at the York Press and

:13:58. > :14:01.Bradford Telegraph and Argus are on strike today over plans to transfer

:14:02. > :14:04.part of the production of the papers to Wales. The National Union of

:14:05. > :14:08.Journalists is against plans by the papers' owner, Newsquest, to

:14:09. > :14:11.relocate several positions. Newsquest says the changes are due

:14:12. > :14:16.to new technology and there will be no compulsory redundancies.

:14:17. > :14:19.A man arrested over the disappearance of a Bradford

:14:20. > :14:23.businessman seven years ago has been released on bail. The 45`year`old

:14:24. > :14:27.was arrested yesterday on suspicion of perverting the course of justice

:14:28. > :14:33.as part of the investigation into Sajeed Saddique's disappearance.

:14:34. > :14:37.Police now believe he was murdered. A second man has been released

:14:38. > :14:40.without charge. A former world class rally

:14:41. > :14:43.co`driver, who was paralysed in a cycling accident, is trying to raise

:14:44. > :14:47.?40,000 to buy equipment which could improve his quality of life. Chris

:14:48. > :14:52.Wood describes his fall from his bike, less than a mile from his home

:14:53. > :14:55.in Huddersfield, as 'minor'. However his spinal cord was severely damaged

:14:56. > :15:04.and his heart stopped twice in the ambulance. Heidi Tomlinson went to

:15:05. > :15:10.meet him. The immediate left six. As a

:15:11. > :15:15.professional rally codriver, Chris Wood was one of the best navigator

:15:16. > :15:18.is in professional motor sport, competing in the world

:15:19. > :15:23.Championships. After retiring from the track, he became a keen

:15:24. > :15:29.cyclist. Just over a year ago, he hit the curb on a right near

:15:30. > :15:32.Huddersfield and fell to the ground. The accident left him

:15:33. > :15:37.paralysed and he has no memory of the fall. They do not know if I was

:15:38. > :15:41.going at speed, maybe I was. Maybe it was a fast accident, maybe it was

:15:42. > :15:47.a slow accident, I do not know, nobody knows, I am afraid. His

:15:48. > :15:53.partner and two carers look after him. He has little movement from the

:15:54. > :15:58.neck down. I can move my shoulders, there is no functional use to them,

:15:59. > :16:02.but they do move, and I can move my left arm quite a bit. I know it

:16:03. > :16:07.doesn't look like quite a bit, I cannot lift it very high. Navigating

:16:08. > :16:12.the Internet using voice recognition, he checks his Facebook

:16:13. > :16:18.page created to raise money for equipment which uses electrical

:16:19. > :16:21.impulses to strengthen muscles. It could encourage further movement.

:16:22. > :16:28.His dad says he is determined to make progress. You could almost say

:16:29. > :16:33.it is a ruination of alive, but he has been absolutely brilliant. He is

:16:34. > :16:36.just the normal Chris, and we have arguments. You know, I tell him what

:16:37. > :16:40.I think of him, and things like that. He tells me what he thinks of

:16:41. > :16:44.me, more often than what I'd tell him what I think of him! And that is

:16:45. > :16:50.fine! I think that is how it has got to be. If I could use my arms, maybe

:16:51. > :16:55.I could pick something up. Maybe not in my hands, but between my wrists.

:16:56. > :17:00.Maybe I could drink a bottle of beer without asking somebody to give it

:17:01. > :17:04.to me with a straw. His connections in motor sport brought in nearly

:17:05. > :17:10.?20,000 for his campaign in just two weeks. But he needs double that

:17:11. > :17:16.amount and would like to continue fundraising to help others with

:17:17. > :17:19.similar life changing injuries. Good luck to him and it is good to

:17:20. > :17:24.see that he has raised that money already. All the best.

:17:25. > :17:27.Before seven o'clock... One of our paralympians remains

:17:28. > :17:30.banned from her sport. Two`time archery champion Danielle Brown has

:17:31. > :17:33.failed to overturn a ban after she was told she was ineligible for

:17:34. > :17:36.disabled events. And could Chesterfield be heading

:17:37. > :17:37.back to Wembley? They take on Fleetwood for a game there, we're

:17:38. > :17:49.live ahead of the match. It's the last day of London Fashion

:17:50. > :17:54.Week, when the best of British design hits the runway to being

:17:55. > :17:57.showcased to the world. Among them are some Yorkshire designers. But

:17:58. > :18:05.it's something else from the region that really dazzled on the catwalk.

:18:06. > :18:08.Of course I knew it was London fashion week! As our business

:18:09. > :18:11.correspondent Danni Hewson has been finding out, once again it's

:18:12. > :18:17.Yorkshire's textiles that are this season's biggest hit.

:18:18. > :18:21.The catwalks of London fashion week can seem miles away from the streets

:18:22. > :18:27.of Yorkshire, until you take a closer look. Not at the clothes, but

:18:28. > :18:31.at the fabric they are made of. Here, they are rather coy about

:18:32. > :18:35.revealing which of the world was my biggest fashion designers are using

:18:36. > :18:41.their fabric this season, but they admit it is more than one. `` more

:18:42. > :18:47.than one. Bigger to visit the fashion houses, they come to see us

:18:48. > :18:52.to visit the archives. `` we go to visit the fashion houses. On the

:18:53. > :18:57.quiet, the Yorkshire textile industry has reinvented itself. It

:18:58. > :19:07.is a massive exporter with designers looking to pay handsomely for a

:19:08. > :19:11.technique it took ages to perfect. We have lots of manufacturers around

:19:12. > :19:21.the area which are used by big designer names like her break,

:19:22. > :19:27.Chanel, Gucci. `` like Burberry. Unlike this sector of the industry,

:19:28. > :19:30.finding a future workforce for the mill isn't proving as

:19:31. > :19:35.straightforward. While the creative economy is the second largest

:19:36. > :19:38.revenue producer in the UK behind financial services, many feel that

:19:39. > :19:42.it doesn't get the same level of support either in the boardroom or

:19:43. > :19:45.in the classroom. We have got to get real about this. We need some

:19:46. > :19:55.government support, we need to tell young people how satisfying it is to

:19:56. > :19:58.become an Artisan, working in an industry that actually produces

:19:59. > :20:02.incredibly beautiful things. We need to get young people interested in

:20:03. > :20:08.it. Instead of wanting to go and paint their fingernails! A rallying

:20:09. > :20:15.cry and one that could be beneficial for more than just the London

:20:16. > :20:19.fashionistas. As fabulous as that? ! Do you know

:20:20. > :20:25.what the colour of the season is? ! It is orange!

:20:26. > :20:36.It doesn't work for a bloke, orange! You look good in grey!

:20:37. > :20:39.Let's move on very quickly! Sport now, and a Yorkshire

:20:40. > :20:42.Paralympian has today been told she's not disabled enough to compete

:20:43. > :20:45.at another Games. Danielle Brown has dominated in Archery at the last two

:20:46. > :20:48.Paralympics, but the sport's governing body has told her she must

:20:49. > :20:52.now compete with able bodied athletes.

:20:53. > :20:59.Today Danielle heard that her appeal against that ruling had failed.

:21:00. > :21:03.James Vincent has this. Danielle Brown won gold in Beijing

:21:04. > :21:09.and London, but now faces the prospect of never competing for her

:21:10. > :21:12.country again. She suffers from complex regional pain syndrome,

:21:13. > :21:17.which gives her chronic pain in her feet, but world archery, the sports

:21:18. > :21:21.governing body, says it does not impact on her performance. After

:21:22. > :21:26.appeal, her disability was tested again, but today, the result was

:21:27. > :21:31.confirmed. From April, she will be ineligible for the Paralympics and

:21:32. > :21:34.will have heard UK sport athlete funding stopped. She is

:21:35. > :21:37.understandably disappointed and in a statement today, she said, my

:21:38. > :21:41.disability has stopped be doing so many things in my life, and archery

:21:42. > :21:47.has been the one thing that gave me focus and purpose. It is

:21:48. > :21:50.heartbreaking to learn that I cannot defend my Paralympic title. The

:21:51. > :21:54.25`year`old is considering whether she can appeal again, but for now,

:21:55. > :22:00.she would have to compete in able`bodied competitions using a

:22:01. > :22:02.stool. Disappointing result for Danielle

:22:03. > :22:06.Brown. It's shaping up to be an exciting

:22:07. > :22:08.season for some of our football teams in the cup competitions.

:22:09. > :22:12.Sheffield United are already through to the quarter finals of the FA Cup

:22:13. > :22:15.and there's every chance they'll face neighbours Wednesday. But

:22:16. > :22:18.that's not all because tonight we look south in search of even more

:22:19. > :22:28.cup glory. Our reporter Ian Bucknell's in Chesterfield.

:22:29. > :22:32.An exciting night for Chesterfield? I think so, and other exciting night

:22:33. > :22:37.here at the stadium, there has been only been Abdullah moments in the

:22:38. > :22:45.mood into their new home three and a half years ago. `` there has barely

:22:46. > :22:49.been a dull moment. They won this competition previously at Wembley.

:22:50. > :22:53.They were then relegated down to the bottom tier of English football, but

:22:54. > :22:59.they are back on their way up and are at the top of league two and

:23:00. > :23:04.looking good for promotion again. Tonight was my game is in the

:23:05. > :23:07.Johnstone 's paint Trophy, and for the team and the lowest two

:23:08. > :23:10.divisions, Chesterfield are doing very well. If they get through

:23:11. > :23:15.tonight, they would be back at Wembley.

:23:16. > :23:21.There is a good atmosphere among this group of players. That is

:23:22. > :23:24.hardly surprising, given Chesterfield are leaders of league

:23:25. > :23:31.two and tonight have a great chance of getting to Wembley. They are

:23:32. > :23:33.already 3`1 in front ahead of Fleetwood after the Johnstone paint

:23:34. > :23:42.Trophy Northern final. They get the job done and then a date at Wembley

:23:43. > :23:45.awaits. This is a chance to get to Wembley and every player wants to

:23:46. > :23:52.get there, so I think we took it seriously all the way through and we

:23:53. > :23:56.will get our rewards. It is a special day for the chairman, the

:23:57. > :23:59.directors, all of the office staff, it generates an amazing atmosphere

:24:00. > :24:04.in the town, certainly from my end of it, I want to deliver that for

:24:05. > :24:09.the people of Chesterfield. They are no strangers to the final.

:24:10. > :24:15.Chesterfield have won the Johnstone 's paint Trophy! From the team that

:24:16. > :24:18.beat Swindon in 2012, the goalkeeper is the only remaining player that

:24:19. > :24:24.will be in the Chesterfield sides tonight. The lesson that he learned

:24:25. > :24:28.is to make sure it is not just a day out. It is a different experience

:24:29. > :24:31.when you win. That is what we say to the lads, it is good getting there,

:24:32. > :24:35.you need to enjoy the day, but you need to get the result as well. We

:24:36. > :24:42.have to get past Fleetwood first. So, there is no danger of being

:24:43. > :24:48.complacent, but at the same time, they do not underestimate what we ``

:24:49. > :24:52.what reaching Wembley would be. If we get there it would be great, if

:24:53. > :24:57.we do not, we will wish Fleetwood the best of luck. Tuam promotion and

:24:58. > :25:02.win again at Wembley in the same season would top the lot. `` to gain

:25:03. > :25:05.promotion. Chesterfield are taking nothing for

:25:06. > :25:09.granted but they really should get through tonight. They are already

:25:10. > :25:13.two goals ahead and the league table says they are a better team than

:25:14. > :25:23.Fleetwood in any case. To see if they get through, join the 10:25pm.

:25:24. > :25:26.Until then, back to the studio. Good luck to them. You are not quite

:25:27. > :25:31.on message, you should be wearing orange tonight!

:25:32. > :25:44.I am merely on trend! Not a shade of grey! But I have some graze under

:25:45. > :25:49.here! Some sunshine, this photograph of this little dog, you can see the

:25:50. > :25:54.cloud has broken in the background. The second picture, a bit more clout

:25:55. > :25:59.at Thornton this afternoon. And this third picture, the sunshine just

:26:00. > :26:07.breaking through. Keep your photographs coming into us. We did

:26:08. > :26:11.have some sunshine today and think by tomorrow afternoon, it will have

:26:12. > :26:15.brightened up and it will be quite pleasant. A great started the day,

:26:16. > :26:19.but brightening up nicely and again, a mile stay. That is helped

:26:20. > :26:25.by the fact the breeze will continue to be liked. This is the satellite

:26:26. > :26:33.picture from earlier, you can see variable cloud. It broken places but

:26:34. > :26:36.it some showers. One or two showers outside of the moment. This evening,

:26:37. > :26:39.the odd shower about but largely dry conditions. The cloud breaks in

:26:40. > :26:45.places and underneath the cloud break, the patchy, low clouds

:26:46. > :26:48.developing. A great end to the night and with temperatures staying frost

:26:49. > :26:58.free will stop for, five degrees, the low temperature. The sun will

:26:59. > :27:02.rise at 7:18am. A bit of a murky start to the day once again with

:27:03. > :27:06.patchy, low cloud and places. This will lift and the best chance of

:27:07. > :27:10.catching a shower will be at first because it looks like a largely dry

:27:11. > :27:14.day. If anything, it will brighten up the day goes on. By tomorrow

:27:15. > :27:18.afternoon, some bright, sunny spells and the breeze will be light from

:27:19. > :27:23.the south`west. Today, temperatures got up to 10 degrees, that is 50

:27:24. > :27:36.Fahrenheit. It might reach 11 degrees tomorrow, that is 52

:27:37. > :27:38.Fahrenheit. Outbreaks of rain Thursday, blustery

:27:39. > :27:41.showers of the weekend. Thank you. We're back at 10:25pm this evening.

:27:42. > :27:44.Good night.
