:00:00. > 3:59:59sunshine and showers continuing. And that is all from the BBC News at

:00:00. > :00:00.six. It Good evening and welcome to

:00:07. > :00:10.Tuesday's Look North. On the programme tonight.

:00:11. > :00:13.Two schools in Leeds face an uncertain future after the charity

:00:14. > :00:16.which runs them is stripped of their control. There's anger from the city

:00:17. > :00:19.council who say they'll have to pick up the pieces. Also tonight.

:00:20. > :00:22.Riding into Battle, horse lovers from a stables threatened with

:00:23. > :00:28.closure take their objections right to Bradford council.

:00:29. > :00:39.And Dame Edna Everage takes time out of her farewell tour in Yorkshire to

:00:40. > :00:42.offer us some sartorial advice. It has been another mile day across

:00:43. > :00:50.Yorkshire, but what do the next few days look like? `` mild day.

:00:51. > :00:54.Good evening, and welcome to the programme. There's uncertainty this

:00:55. > :00:57.evening over the future of two secondary schools in Leeds after the

:00:58. > :01:02.organisation which runs them was stripped of their control. E`Act is

:01:03. > :01:05.one of the biggest chain of Academies in England and runs

:01:06. > :01:09.schools in Leeds, Sheffield and Featherstone. But today it handed

:01:10. > :01:11.over control of two schools in Seacroft and Rodley after Ofsted

:01:12. > :01:18.inspectors raised concerns about some of the schools run by the

:01:19. > :01:27.charity. In a moment we'll hear from the local MP Rachel Reeves, but

:01:28. > :01:31.first Spencer has our top story. New schools and new names, run

:01:32. > :01:38.together as academy groups. That is part of the government filed ``

:01:39. > :01:46.formula to reform education but now one such group, E`Act, has thrown in

:01:47. > :01:52.the towel in Leeds. Inspectors came here and found that teaching was

:01:53. > :01:57.inadequate, behaviour was inadequate and pupils were not attending

:01:58. > :02:02.lessons. Most damning of all, E`Act, the Academy groups supposed to be

:02:03. > :02:10.looking after the school, was not providing any support. Across the

:02:11. > :02:16.city, Leeds West was performing well but E`Act is getting out of here

:02:17. > :02:19.today. Parents and pupils knew nothing of the announcement today

:02:20. > :02:22.and it has left Leeds City Council wondering if they are going to step

:02:23. > :02:27.in to help the two academies which were supposed to thrive under

:02:28. > :02:33.E`Act's leadership. We are now facing picking up the pieces of a

:02:34. > :02:39.catastrophic series of events where the sponsor has walked away from our

:02:40. > :02:44.schools without any explanation of what is going to happen to those

:02:45. > :02:47.schools in the future. E`Act was not doing the job as well as it should,

:02:48. > :02:51.so intervened and said that some of the schools should they already had

:02:52. > :02:54.to be taken of their hands and placed at the hands of organisations

:02:55. > :02:59.that could turn around more effectively. It is not clear which

:03:00. > :03:04.organisation will we doing that. Parents may face several weeks of

:03:05. > :03:07.waiting before a decision is made. What they want is a good local

:03:08. > :03:12.school, they do not want to be swapped and change with who runs it

:03:13. > :03:15.every few years. This will change a huge amount of instability in the

:03:16. > :03:17.community and a great deal of concern about whether or not their

:03:18. > :03:23.children are getting the education they reserved. `` deserve. Two other

:03:24. > :03:30.academies in Sheffield and Featherstone will release `` remain

:03:31. > :03:33.part of the E`Act group, but for Leeds East and Leeds West, another

:03:34. > :03:41.organisation will take over the running.

:03:42. > :03:44.Rachel Reeves joins us from Westminster. So Leeds East and West

:03:45. > :03:49.Academy are looking for new sponsors, despite the fact that

:03:50. > :03:53.Leeds West Academy which is in your constituency got a good Ofsted

:03:54. > :03:57.inspection only two years ago. There has been no real exhalation as to

:03:58. > :04:02.why controls have been taken away from E`Act, why do you think this is

:04:03. > :04:05.happened? Let me first say that Leeds West Academy is a superb

:04:06. > :04:11.school. The principal and the school staff are doing a brilliant job and

:04:12. > :04:16.I meet students regularly who are highly motivated, doing very well at

:04:17. > :04:18.school. I think what has happened today is shameful, shameful that

:04:19. > :04:22.E`Act are walking away from the school that they are supposed to be

:04:23. > :04:26.supporting, and shameful that Michael Gove and the government have

:04:27. > :04:30.got no answers to the question of what happens to these schools now.

:04:31. > :04:36.8:30am is the first time that the school learnt of these changes. And

:04:37. > :04:41.they have no idea, this evening, who is going to be running this school

:04:42. > :04:46.in the weeks and months to come. That uncertainty should not be

:04:47. > :04:49.hanging over a school like Leeds West Academy. I call on the

:04:50. > :04:56.government to urgently get a grip. You cannot put all this on the

:04:57. > :05:01.doorstep of the Conservatives, it was a Labour policy, academies,

:05:02. > :05:07.initially designed to help struggling schools. Yes, and Leeds

:05:08. > :05:10.West Academy is now successful. We have seen under this government

:05:11. > :05:16.these Academy chains being too big and not able to give the school the

:05:17. > :05:21.individual support they need. E`Act became a chain of 34 schools, and

:05:22. > :05:24.they were not able to oversight order of those schools and there are

:05:25. > :05:29.now walking away from a third of them. I do put the blame because the

:05:30. > :05:35.government this evening cannot tell us what the future holds for schools

:05:36. > :05:41.like Leeds West Academy, who now have no academy sponsor and not sure

:05:42. > :05:45.who is responsible for that school going forward. It is fine to say

:05:46. > :05:50.that one sponsor is not doing its job properly and I would agree that

:05:51. > :05:54.E`Act had let down a number of schools. It is not good enough for

:05:55. > :05:59.the government to say, E`Act should known not the be a sponsor but we

:06:00. > :06:03.have no idea who the sponsor for B. We need to leave it there, we will

:06:04. > :06:06.be following the story. The trial's started of a 22`year`old

:06:07. > :06:09.woman accused of organising a child prostitution ring in South

:06:10. > :06:11.Yorkshire. A jury heard how Amanda Spencer befriended nine underage

:06:12. > :06:15.girls, giving them alcohol and drugs. Five men are also on trial

:06:16. > :06:23.accused of exploiting the girls. Danny Savage was at Sheffield Crown

:06:24. > :06:29.Court today. Amanda Spencer is 22 years old but

:06:30. > :06:34.she herself was a teenager between 2006 and 2011, when she is accused

:06:35. > :06:39.of exploiting children here in Sheffield. The prosecution say that

:06:40. > :06:45.she exploited nine teenage girls, maybe the young teenage girls. Huber

:06:46. > :06:49.granted them, gave the drugs and in `` she befriended them, gave them

:06:50. > :06:53.drugs and alcohol added use them into prostitution. She had grown up

:06:54. > :06:56.in care and she knew what to look out for, according to the

:06:57. > :07:05.prosecution, because the girls and she introduced into the prostitution

:07:06. > :07:09.also came from care. The court also heard that some of these girls are

:07:10. > :07:13.very frightened of her, that Spencer would become violent if the young

:07:14. > :07:16.girls didn't do what she told them to do. She referred to the victims

:07:17. > :07:20.as her sisters, the court was told, to tell them how to dress more

:07:21. > :07:26.provocatively and how to lie about their age. There are 45 charges that

:07:27. > :07:31.the jury are having to consider, it is expected to last about eight

:07:32. > :07:35.weeks and as well as Amanda Spencer, there are five other men on

:07:36. > :07:37.trial as well. All of the defendants deny all the charges.

:07:38. > :07:41.Later on Look North. It's a city better known for steel than snow but

:07:42. > :07:48.Sheffield produced some of Sochi's stars, who owe their training to the

:07:49. > :07:52.city's ski village. In other news now, and police are

:07:53. > :07:54.asking the public to help find a convicted prisoner from Richmond

:07:55. > :07:58.who's breached the terms of his release from prison. Christopher

:07:59. > :08:02.Hugill was sentenced to two years in jail in 2012 after being convicted

:08:03. > :08:05.of assault. He was released last summer but has now been recalled to

:08:06. > :08:09.prison. Detectives believe he's committed further offences. Anyone

:08:10. > :08:12.with information is asked to contact North Yorkshire police.

:08:13. > :08:16.Residents living near a recycling centre in Worksop are being advised

:08:17. > :08:20.to keep doors and windows shut whilst fire crews tackle a blaze at

:08:21. > :08:25.the plant. Last summer a fire at the site on Shire Oaks Road took three

:08:26. > :08:28.weeks to put out. It was caused by the natural decomposing of materials

:08:29. > :08:31.kept at the centre. Nottinghamshire Fire Service say they're seeking

:08:32. > :08:41.assurances there won't be another fire in the future.

:08:42. > :08:44.A West Yorkshire riding school popular with disabled children is

:08:45. > :08:48.facing closure because of plans to build hundreds of new homes in

:08:49. > :08:50.Bradford. The school and stables in Fagley could be bulldozed if the

:08:51. > :08:53.scheme is approved. Today supporters and riders presented their

:08:54. > :09:04.objections on horseback at City Hall. Phil Bodmer reports.

:09:05. > :09:08.Staff and volunteers of this riding school in Fagley, setting off for a

:09:09. > :09:12.protest this lunchtime. Their destination, City Hall. Their

:09:13. > :09:17.mission, to try and save their school from potential closure which

:09:18. > :09:22.could impact the lives of 200 young riders including 50 children with

:09:23. > :09:26.special needs. It is the one thing they look forward to, it improves

:09:27. > :09:30.their behaviour, the autistic children, because it can calm them.

:09:31. > :09:34.It can slow down the progression of the physical conditions that they

:09:35. > :09:37.have. People say it is better than therapy and trek Liza, it helps to

:09:38. > :09:45.palm them down, give them a different viewpoint on life. ``

:09:46. > :09:51.therapy and tranquillisers. There are plans for 600 new homes on the

:09:52. > :09:54.side of a nearby quarry and the riding school. No one from the

:09:55. > :09:56.council or the landowners was available to speak to us on camera

:09:57. > :10:06.but they gave us the following statement.

:10:07. > :10:16.There are a lot of clubs for boys and girls, because I have got one of

:10:17. > :10:19.each, they are able to learn something together there. The

:10:20. > :10:24.teachers helped them have confidence in how to handle the horses. When

:10:25. > :10:30.you're taking away activities which are trying to be promoted the

:10:31. > :10:34.children, they can find another alternative. With their objections

:10:35. > :10:37.lodged, supporters of the riding school face an anxious few months as

:10:38. > :10:41.planners balance the need for much`needed housing against equally

:10:42. > :10:45.prized community assets. All this week Look North is marking

:10:46. > :10:48.the centenary of the First World War by looking at stories from the Home

:10:49. > :10:53.Front. In December 1914, Scarborough was shelled by the German navy, and

:10:54. > :10:57.18 people lost their lives. We are still receiving new stories about

:10:58. > :11:00.this raid. Thank you for your reaction. An attack on a defenceless

:11:01. > :11:04.seaside town left the whole country in shock. The government described

:11:05. > :11:08.the Germans as "barbarians and baby killers" and used the bombardment to

:11:09. > :11:19.begin a new recruitment drive. Michelle Lyons reports.

:11:20. > :11:20.It lasted less than half an hour, but the scale of destruction left

:11:21. > :11:31.behind was immense. Homes and businesses destroyed, 18

:11:32. > :11:36.people killed, and dozens more wounded. Although this number pales

:11:37. > :11:41.into insignificance compared to those killed on the front line, the

:11:42. > :11:44.bombardment brought the reality of World War I to the peaceful shores

:11:45. > :11:51.of Scarborough. And it shocked the nation.

:11:52. > :11:57.It committed many people to the war who had perhaps wavered. It was

:11:58. > :12:03.certainly a gift to the propaganda people, who had to recruit people to

:12:04. > :12:07.the Army because this was an event which many people in Britain

:12:08. > :12:12.perceived as giving Britain or high ground. This was a bustard leasing,

:12:13. > :12:14.it had not happened before. `` giving Britain the moral high

:12:15. > :12:31.ground. But it was the tragic story of the

:12:32. > :12:37.Bennet family which captured the nation 's heart. Four members of the

:12:38. > :12:43.same family killed when a shell struck their home. One man survived

:12:44. > :12:48.after falling through the bedroom floor into the kitchen, he gave his

:12:49. > :12:52.account of the experience. It was terrible, father and I took the

:12:53. > :12:58.others out there petticoat, we moved mother into the yard with the young

:12:59. > :13:03.once but it was too late. I carried little George into the next house

:13:04. > :13:06.but he died as I put him down. Instead of dwelling on the

:13:07. > :13:10.aftermath, the government quickly decided to use it to their

:13:11. > :13:15.advantage. An image of the house was used in the recruitment campaign.

:13:16. > :13:23.The image of the house was produced as a postcard quite quickly, and,

:13:24. > :13:26.you know, it was a very emotive story, understandably and that when

:13:27. > :13:33.together with Churchill's statement that they were going to avenge the

:13:34. > :13:36.baby killers of Scarborough. A campaign to raise more body the guns

:13:37. > :13:42.was launched using Scarborough as the resident white people should

:13:43. > :13:50.donate. `` as the reason why people should donate. That painting on this

:13:51. > :13:57.poster was still hanging in the town Hall today. The bombardment of

:13:58. > :14:03.Scarborough may only play a tiny part in the history of the great

:14:04. > :14:06.War, but its legacy fuelled and National Patrick is which led to

:14:07. > :14:13.thousands of young men wanting to fight for King and country.

:14:14. > :14:19.Thank you to everyone in Scarborough yesterday who

:14:20. > :14:23.`` who were wonderful in helping us yesterday.

:14:24. > :14:26.The BBC has been working with Imperial War Museums on the World

:14:27. > :14:29.War One at Home project. Radio York is looking at the Scarborough

:14:30. > :14:32.bombardment all week and Radio Leeds and Radio Sheffield will also be

:14:33. > :14:37.featuring stories every day. And to be able to see all these features in

:14:38. > :14:44.one place then go to the website. Before 7pm. Listen up, possums,

:14:45. > :14:49.we've a treat ahead! I am Barry Humphries, and I'm very pleased to

:14:50. > :14:55.be in Leeds. Join me tonight where I will be talking, raving on, really,

:14:56. > :14:58.about my Brilliant career. Onto sport now and in Super League

:14:59. > :15:01.the future of Bradford Bulls is uncertain tonight. The Rugby

:15:02. > :15:04.Football League announced the club's been docked six points for going

:15:05. > :15:09.into administration, minutes after the prospective new owners pulled

:15:10. > :15:16.out of a deal to buy the club. Tanya explains how serious this could be.

:15:17. > :15:20.I think it is pretty serious, because they are currently owned by

:15:21. > :15:24.an administrator. The group that pulled out today whether one is

:15:25. > :15:27.agreed by the administrator last week to buy the club and move it

:15:28. > :15:32.forward. So what the administrator now has the club with financial

:15:33. > :15:35.problems, only has half of its television money and is now Doctor

:15:36. > :15:40.six points. This is a season where to means `` two teams are going to

:15:41. > :15:44.get relegated, so that does not make them a great prospect to buy. The R

:15:45. > :15:48.F L says they had a good look at the whole administration and the affair

:15:49. > :15:51.and the way it was dealt with and the way they have gone into

:15:52. > :15:56.administration before, and this was the punishment, they had been

:15:57. > :16:01.brought down. If you are trying to sell club, to say you are on `6, you

:16:02. > :16:05.haven't got a squad and not much money, it is not an easy sales job.

:16:06. > :16:10.Onto football and there'll be no Sheffield derby in the quarter

:16:11. > :16:13.finals of the FA Cup. Sheffield Wednesday blew the chance to take on

:16:14. > :16:17.city rivals United, losing 2`1 to Charlton. The visitors took the lead

:16:18. > :16:20.in the first half but after the break Wednesday levelled it with

:16:21. > :16:23.Leon Best getting the goal. The Owls though were not at their best and

:16:24. > :16:27.sloppy defending allowed Charlton in for the winner.

:16:28. > :16:32.It was a remarkably successful Winter Olympics for Sheffield. Three

:16:33. > :16:36.of its skiers got to Sochi ` impressive for a city without snow.

:16:37. > :16:39.But there are now fears they will be the last. Sheffield Ski Village, the

:16:40. > :16:43.place where they all learned their jumps, burned down in 2012 and will

:16:44. > :16:46.never re`open. In a moment we'll hear from two of our Olympians fresh

:16:47. > :16:55.from the slopes in Sochi, but first James Vincent has this report.

:16:56. > :17:03.Three Olympians, all from Sheffield, all learned to ski on sheets of

:17:04. > :17:08.brushes strapped to the side of one of the hills. Five fires later but

:17:09. > :17:15.one of the `` and the ski village looks different. These sites have

:17:16. > :17:18.helped three Sheffield athletes get to the Winter Olympics. As you can

:17:19. > :17:22.see from the state of it, there will be no more Olympians being nurtured

:17:23. > :17:30.here. Katie Summerhayes went along as a toddler and stayed. We had to

:17:31. > :17:35.drag her off at times, Katie, it is five o'clock on Saturday, it is time

:17:36. > :17:40.to go home. Just one more run! She loved it so much he has still got a

:17:41. > :17:45.pat of the synthetic snow at home. It is really heartbreaking that the

:17:46. > :17:52.ski village is, it is still there but no one is using it. No one is

:17:53. > :17:57.going to be able to experience that, it was really special for me.

:17:58. > :18:01.Another member of Team GB told me it was too painful to see what the ski

:18:02. > :18:04.village had become. It is not so much an issue for us now, but it

:18:05. > :18:10.will be for the younger generation coming through. Because there is no

:18:11. > :18:16.area in Sheffield which you can practice on half pipes or jumps, you

:18:17. > :18:20.have to go abroad now. With the ski village, it was fire, with the Don

:18:21. > :18:25.Valley Stadium, it was council cuts. Some are worried about the state of

:18:26. > :18:30.the city of sports. All the people inspired by their performances and

:18:31. > :18:35.seeing the man TV, Gary Arthur represented Sheffield, where do they

:18:36. > :18:41.go now? It is worrying to see for the next generation. We have had

:18:42. > :18:45.some fantastic facilities in Sheffield and we are starting to

:18:46. > :18:50.lose them. The side of this hill will probably end up as a housing

:18:51. > :18:55.estate, not a home for Olympians. We are joined on the sofa by the

:18:56. > :19:00.Olympians, James Machon and Katie Summerhayes, who performed in the

:19:01. > :19:04.ski`pipe and the ski slopestyle in Sochi and have just arrived back in

:19:05. > :19:07.Yorkshire. You are fresh from the States, what would you like at

:19:08. > :19:16.there? Nadal it was amazing to be there. Especially for us, it was

:19:17. > :19:23.amazing coming from Sheffield in the new action sports. I just loved

:19:24. > :19:27.watching it, it was so exciting. Were you captured by the adrenaline

:19:28. > :19:30.of the occasion as well? Yes, the reaction we had at home, on Twitter

:19:31. > :19:35.and Facebook, everyone was going mental. We just wanted everyone to

:19:36. > :19:40.love it. And we feel like everyone enjoyed it. Let's talk at the ski

:19:41. > :19:51.village. It is key to your development, both of you. That is no

:19:52. > :19:54.more, do you think it would have been different for you if Sheffield

:19:55. > :19:59.ski village would not have been there? Nadal yes, we probably would

:20:00. > :20:06.not be here today. It is it is probably like that.

:20:07. > :20:14.The ski village in Sheffield, we have done so many features over the

:20:15. > :20:19.years about this. It is devastating for you, below. Yes, I do not think

:20:20. > :20:22.I would be skiing if it was not for the ski village, we were just happy

:20:23. > :20:29.there. We had so much fun growing there, I have known James for ten

:20:30. > :20:34.years. We enjoyed skiing so much with everyone, it is that a shame.

:20:35. > :20:39.There is Castleford and Halifax, there are slopes there, but you are

:20:40. > :20:48.saying that you cannot get what you need for your particular style in

:20:49. > :20:52.this slopes? Yes, Sheffield had the only half pipe in the UK so that is

:20:53. > :20:57.a blow for James and everyone else that wants to do that. You are going

:20:58. > :21:04.to stick at it, and be there in four years time? Definitely! You are

:21:05. > :21:08.fantastic, they joining us. Barry Humphries. Need I say more!

:21:09. > :21:12.His farewell tour hits the region tonight with Dame Edna in full flow,

:21:13. > :21:15.albeit nursing a heavy cold. But that won't stop Barry! He loves the

:21:16. > :21:19.Grand Theatre in Leeds where he'll be on stage until Saturday night.

:21:20. > :21:25.Indeed he calls it one of the finest theatres in Europe. Very fitting,

:21:26. > :21:32.that. After all we are talking about a friend of her Majesty!

:21:33. > :21:40.Tonight, you are my guests come in my home from home, Buckingham

:21:41. > :21:46.Palace. Yes, her Majesty's lovely, centrally located, 4`storey town

:21:47. > :21:52.house. A stones throw from Mal Street and Trafalgar Circus. Over

:21:53. > :21:56.the years she changed. I did one show in Melbourne, I would get her

:21:57. > :22:02.out, put her back in the box, close the lid. Next time I did the show,

:22:03. > :22:07.she would come out with new glasses, better dressed. A bit more

:22:08. > :22:13.opinionated. She began shy, and now it is her audience who are shy. And

:22:14. > :22:22.a beautiful woman, of course. Yes, she is by some standards. I am not

:22:23. > :22:26.want to comment, really. Beauty is not a speciality of hers. But

:22:27. > :22:31.personality certainly is. I have got a couple of pictures that I want to

:22:32. > :22:37.show you. I would carry that one with me. Can we see that?

:22:38. > :22:45.Definitely! I work with two people, and I wonder if you would comment.

:22:46. > :22:50.That is my co`presenter, Amy. Why didn't you send your co`presenter?

:22:51. > :22:55.That would have been nice. I would not have occasionally taken my

:22:56. > :23:03.glance to the camera if she had been sitting where you are sitting. This

:23:04. > :23:09.is our man `` this is our weatherman, Paul, what you think? He

:23:10. > :23:13.looks so nice and he has also anticipated nice weather. I would

:23:14. > :23:17.like to be a weatherman. It is the one thing in television that I think

:23:18. > :23:23.I would quite like to do. Can you give me some advice? Of the passage

:23:24. > :23:27.of time catches up with me, I know one of your things you are a

:23:28. > :23:31.speciality of, glasses. These are the ones I am thinking I might have

:23:32. > :23:36.to wear on screen at some point. Can you give me a comment? I think they

:23:37. > :23:44.are quite good. Did you spend a long time choosing the? I think they suit

:23:45. > :23:50.you. OK. And I don't think people might glasses at all. Edna's glasses

:23:51. > :23:56.are unusual, in that they have no lenses. She calls her face

:23:57. > :24:04.furniture. They just are a frame for the eyes. Not an aid to looking and

:24:05. > :24:08.seeing. But I think yours are fine for a man approaching middle age.

:24:09. > :24:15.Admittedly from the wrong direction! Absolutely, thank you!

:24:16. > :24:18.These are the ones you might have to wear. You're just missing a few

:24:19. > :24:27.feathers! Have you ever thought of making you

:24:28. > :24:29.lurve that that's not living dressed as a woman? I am told you might be

:24:30. > :24:39.good at it? Here's a few pictures. `` have you ever thought of making

:24:40. > :24:56.your living just as a woman? Once again, we had double`figure

:24:57. > :25:02.temperatures in eastern parts. Tomorrow, mild, variable cloud.

:25:03. > :25:05.Showers across northern part of the region. A little ridge of high

:25:06. > :25:14.pressure which means the best of the weather will be across eastern and

:25:15. > :25:18.open region. `` southern regions. The many, not a bad day, the showers

:25:19. > :25:25.are fiddling out today. A risk or one of two sharp showers, but they

:25:26. > :25:28.will die out eastwards. Many of us will be dry overnight with clear

:25:29. > :25:30.spells. Quite breezy but where you are sheltered from the breeze, there

:25:31. > :25:52.could be a touch of ground frost. Not a bad day across South Yorkshire

:25:53. > :25:57.and eastern parts of Yorkshire, some sunshine, but Northern areas at risk

:25:58. > :26:05.of seeing some showers. Lead northwards, they coming quickly, a

:26:06. > :26:13.little bit of sleet and they fizzle out. If you are south of Leeds and

:26:14. > :26:19.York, it should be mostly dry. But in the Yorkshire Dales, the showers

:26:20. > :26:31.recruited heavily. `` they are frequent and heavy. Temperatures

:26:32. > :26:36.just above average tomorrow. Best in the eastern parts of South Yorkshire

:26:37. > :26:40.and through the North Midlands. More unsettled weather on Wednesday

:26:41. > :26:46.night, the rain spreads in from the south`west. That should be clear of

:26:47. > :26:52.the Coast first light Thursday morning, Thursday is sunny intervals

:26:53. > :26:53.and scattered showers. Friday, low`pressure so showers and it will

:26:54. > :27:03.be breezy into March. Tonight, we will have the latest on

:27:04. > :27:07.the uncertain future of two local academies as the organisation which

:27:08. > :27:12.runs the schools is stripped of its control. We will have the first

:27:13. > :27:13.reaction of the chair of governors of both schools. That is at 10:35pm.
