:00:13. > :00:15.Welcome to Look North. Hundreds of people are expected to

:00:16. > :00:17.take part in a protest this lunchtime against plans to close

:00:18. > :00:20.Calderdale Royal Hospital's accident and emergency department. The

:00:21. > :00:24.proposals are part of plans to save the NHS ?50 million, and would mean

:00:25. > :00:30.patients having to travel to Huddersfield for treatment.

:00:31. > :00:32.Campaigners say the move could cost lives. Here's Kate Bradbrook.

:00:33. > :00:40.Two hospitals, both with A units, ten miles apart. Last month, it was

:00:41. > :00:42.announced that one of these casualty departments could close, with the

:00:43. > :00:46.preferred option being Calderdale. For patients like Holly May, who

:00:47. > :00:50.suffers from severe asthma, it is a grim prospect. Round about two weeks

:00:51. > :00:53.ago when I was so poorly, if I'd have had to travel to maybe

:00:54. > :00:57.Huddersfield, which is around 30 minutes more, I think it could've

:00:58. > :01:02.been different and it was more of a life`saving place to be there so

:01:03. > :01:06.quickly. Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group says the plans

:01:07. > :01:09.are not just about A, but a bigger transformation of Health and Social

:01:10. > :01:16.Care across Calderdale and greater Huddersfield. Bosses say no

:01:17. > :01:27.decisions have yet been taken, but campaigners gathering this lunchtime

:01:28. > :01:31.say the move could cost lives. Detectives have named a man they

:01:32. > :01:35.want to trace in connection with the murder of Colin Pierre. He's Anthony

:01:36. > :01:38.Micah Pyke, who is 31 and from the Meanwood area of Leeds. Mr Pierre's

:01:39. > :01:41.body was found by school children in woods in Chapel Allerton on Tuesday

:01:42. > :01:45.morning. He had been shot. Three men have been stabbed after a

:01:46. > :01:48.fight broke out in the centre of Holmfirth. It's believed the

:01:49. > :01:52.incident is linked to a house party in the Netherthong area last night.

:01:53. > :01:53.Two of the men remain in hospital but their injuries are not

:01:54. > :01:57.life`threatening. Sheffield boxer Kell Brook has vowed

:01:58. > :02:00.not to be complacent as he prepares to take on Mexican Alvaro Robles in

:02:01. > :02:04.Liverpool this evening. Brook has been guaranteed a summer shot at the

:02:05. > :02:08.IBF welterweight title, currently held by American Shawn Porte,

:02:09. > :02:11.providing he gets past Robles. But Kell's not the only fighter from the

:02:12. > :02:15.famous Ingle gym who's in action tonight.

:02:16. > :02:19.It's just a tick`over job, but every fight he has from this point onwards

:02:20. > :02:23.is dangerous. If he loses, that's the end of his world title dream.

:02:24. > :02:26.Also, on the same night in Reading, we've got a guy fighting for the

:02:27. > :02:29.British light heavyweight title. He's a bit of an unknown but

:02:30. > :02:40.everybody will know his name when he winds that belt.

:02:41. > :02:43.Our presenters Harry and Amy are well underway on Day Two on their

:02:44. > :02:46.tandem Tour de Yorkshire for Sport Relief. They left Skipton this

:02:47. > :02:49.morning and are heading into the Dales. They are expected in the

:02:50. > :02:53.village of Mooker at about 4pm. They're riding the Yorkshire part of

:02:54. > :02:56.the Tour de France and it will take them eight days.

:03:11. > :03:20.again. Now for the weather forecast.

:03:21. > :03:24.It is a bit of a breezy afternoon for many others, about a cloud

:03:25. > :03:28.around, too. There should be some sunny spells in the East later in

:03:29. > :03:34.the day but for most of us it will be fairly overcast. That breeze

:03:35. > :03:38.picking up as we go into this evening, it could be fairly gusty

:03:39. > :03:42.for a time. Overnight, the cloud built in once again from the West,

:03:43. > :03:49.that should keep temperatures from falling too low and the breeze

:03:50. > :03:55.preventing any folk from forming. I'll start initially for Sunday,

:03:56. > :04:00.sunny spells later. Our sports round`up is later today,

:04:01. > :04:10.we are on at about seven 10p. From the lunchtime team, goodbye.

:04:11. > :04:14.Following on from what has been largely dry and settled week with

:04:15. > :04:18.high pressure in charge, the weekend weather continues on that theme,

:04:19. > :04:22.too. Things are looking largely dry, not everywhere, but there will

:04:23. > :04:26.be some warm sunshine on offer, particularly through the afternoons.

:04:27. > :04:31.It will be feeling fairly breezy as well. The satellite image shows the

:04:32. > :04:35.cloud has been thinning and breaking this morning, across Northern

:04:36. > :04:39.Ireland, Wales and Northern Ireland. In terms of the Six Nations

:04:40. > :04:41.rugby matches today, it should stay dry for all the
