:00:46. > :00:48.York last night. 22`year`old Ben has been missing since he disappeared

:00:49. > :00:53.from a nightclub in the city three weeks ago. Our reporter Cathy Booth

:00:54. > :00:56.has the details. The body was discovered by police at 5pm

:00:57. > :00:58.yesterday, near the Sainsbury's entrance on Foss Bank.

:00:59. > :01:01.22`year`old Ben Clarkson went missing on the second March

:01:02. > :01:04.following a night out. North Yorkshire Police say they will not

:01:05. > :01:06.formally identify the body until tomorrow or Monday. Last night,

:01:07. > :01:10.Ben's girlfriend, Rachel Peatfield, issued a statement in which she paid

:01:11. > :01:15.tribute to him. She said, I am truly heartbroken to have lost the love of

:01:16. > :01:18.my life and I will treasure the fond memories that we made over the last

:01:19. > :01:21.11 years dearly. Ben was an amazing partner, son, grandson, brother and

:01:22. > :01:24.uncle, and no`one will ever replace him. Ben's death comes days after

:01:25. > :01:28.the body of 20``year`old Megan Roberts was pulled from the River

:01:29. > :01:31.Ouse. She also disappeared after a night drinking in York. It has led

:01:32. > :01:34.to calls for increased safety measures to be put in place along

:01:35. > :01:37.the city's rivers. More places in Yorkshire could be

:01:38. > :01:40.getting direct trains to London. The Department for Transport says it's

:01:41. > :01:42.asking companies bidding to operate the East Coast line to consider

:01:43. > :01:45.running regular services to Huddersfield, Harrogate and

:01:46. > :01:48.Scarborough. The route is currently run by government`owned company East

:01:49. > :01:50.Coast Trains, but it will be returned to the private sector next
