:00:14. > :00:16.Good evening. Four monkeys stolen during a targeted break`in at

:00:17. > :00:19.Blackpool Zoo have been found dumped on a doorstep in West Yorkshire. The

:00:20. > :00:24.Tamarin monkeys were discovered at a front door in Brighouse. A fifth

:00:25. > :00:43.monkey that was also stolen from the zoo hasn't been found. Spencer

:00:44. > :00:46.Stokes reports. The monkeys are back at Blackpool

:00:47. > :00:53.zoo after three days in the hands of thieves. Last night, police were

:00:54. > :01:00.cold to a home in Brickhouse. More than 70 miles from Blackpool. The

:01:01. > :01:05.owner of the house says he came out last night, found for the monkeys in

:01:06. > :01:11.a cardboard box on his doorstep. Police have been talking to him to

:01:12. > :01:17.get more information. The man told us the monkeys appeared to have been

:01:18. > :01:20.left at his house. As a species, they are endangered and could be

:01:21. > :01:30.worth a lot of money on the black market. They looked in good

:01:31. > :01:36.condition, but quite scared. One of the babies was cuddling its dad and

:01:37. > :01:42.looking scared. They had a few cuts and graces on them, but nothing too

:01:43. > :01:51.major. The thieves cut through the perimeter fence to get to the

:01:52. > :01:55.monkeys. So far, no one has been arrested and the search for the baby

:01:56. > :02:00.monkey continues. Rotherham Town Hall has been sealed

:02:01. > :02:02.off for most of the day after a man armed with a hammer barricaded

:02:03. > :02:05.himself inside. Specialist negotiators have been brought in to

:02:06. > :02:09.talk to the man, and police have cordoned off the area. Officers were

:02:10. > :02:12.cold to the building at around 9.45 this morning after an alarm was

:02:13. > :02:14.triggered. It's not thought anyone else is inside.

:02:15. > :02:18.Hundreds of trade union members gathered in Leeds this morning to

:02:19. > :02:20.take part in the traditional May Day rally. Amongst them were

:02:21. > :02:24.firefighters belonging to the Fire Brigades Union, who are taking part

:02:25. > :02:26.in a 12`hour strike in a row over pensions. The government says

:02:27. > :02:29.firefighters have one of the most generous pension schemes in the

:02:30. > :02:38.public sector. But the FBU opposes plans to increase the retirement

:02:39. > :02:42.age. Most firefighters are now paying

:02:43. > :02:49.?4000 a year on a salary of less than 29,000 pounds. It is one of the

:02:50. > :02:53.most expensive schemes. It is a physically demanding job, and the

:02:54. > :03:03.government is taking no account of that.

:03:04. > :03:07.Football now ` and the last game of the season was crucial for Doncaster

:03:08. > :03:09.in their fight for survival in the Championship. But the Rovers lost

:03:10. > :03:12.1`0 to champions Leicester, meaning they'll be playing in League One

:03:13. > :03:16.next season. Barnsley already knew they'd been relegated ` they were

:03:17. > :03:19.beaten by three goals to two away at QPR. A disappointing final match for

:03:20. > :03:23.Sheffield Wednesday as well ` losing 2`1 to Ipswich. Leeds had a 1`1 draw

:03:24. > :03:26.at Derby. But a convincing victory for Huddersfield Town against

:03:27. > :03:36.Watford, with a hat trick from Danny Ward ` to finish 4`1. In League one.

:03:37. > :03:39.Newly promoted Chesterfield have won the League two title with victory

:03:40. > :03:43.over Fleetwood ` the match finished two` one with goals from the

:03:44. > :03:49.Spireites Sam Hird and Gary Roberts. York were away to Scunthorpe, the

:03:50. > :03:53.final score there two` all. And you can see all the action from today's

:03:54. > :03:58.matches on BBC One tonight ` the Football League Show is right after

:03:59. > :04:01.Match of the Day at 11.45pm. And congratulations to Ripon diver Jack

:04:02. > :04:06.Laugher, who won his first individual bronze at the World

:04:07. > :04:12.Series in Russia today. This celebratory picture was tweeted by

:04:13. > :04:21.his coach Adrian Hinchliffe. Now for the weather forecast.

:04:22. > :04:29.Through this evening, it will stay dry, we will have cloud increasing

:04:30. > :04:32.from the north`west. A cloudy picture tonight and the thicker

:04:33. > :04:38.cloud could produce a little bit of light rain. Temperatures dipping

:04:39. > :04:46.down to about seven or eight degrees with a south`westerly breeze, so it

:04:47. > :04:51.will stay mild. Outbreaks of light rain and drizzle, particularly over

:04:52. > :04:55.the hills. Temperatures up to 13 or 14 degrees with a light

:04:56. > :05:02.south`westerly breeze. That's all from us for now. If you

:05:03. > :05:13.have a story for us, you can e`mail us. Goodbye.

:05:14. > :05:19.Good evening. It was a cold, even frosty start to the Bank Holiday

:05:20. > :05:24.weekend but for most of us day one of three has been dry. We are going

:05:25. > :05:27.to see changes, the first of those changes spilling across Scotland and

:05:28. > :05:30.Northern Ireland as outbreaks of rain drifting through the night.

:05:31. > :05:34.Getting into parts of northern England as well. With the cloud and

:05:35. > :05:38.rain it will not be as cold as last night, temperatures staying in

:05:39. > :05:42.double figures in many cities. In the south, clear skies once more.

:05:43. > :05:47.Like last night, it is going to be cold. Parts of the countryside will

:05:48. > :05:52.be down to zero, maybe -1, as we start Sunday. A chilly start.

:05:53. > :05:54.Generally a fine day was quite a bit of sunshine.
