:00:39. > :00:49.Also tonight: Getting ready for the Tour. We're in Calderdale where
:00:50. > :00:52.they're borrowing some Hollywood style in preparation for hosting

:01:06. > :01:14.is not looking too clever. Join me for the very latest.
:01:15. > :01:21.Good evening. More than 2,000 people have attended the funeral of five
:01:22. > :01:24.members of the same family who died in a house fire in Sheffield.
:01:25. > :01:28.Brothers Adhyan and Amaan Parwaiz Kayani, aged nine and seven, died in

:01:46. > :01:50.Such a tragic story and one that had clearly affected the whole
:01:51. > :01:56.community. And incredibly sad day of course for
:01:57. > :02:00.the family involved but also for the whole city as thousands of mourners
:02:01. > :02:05.came to a standstill this lunchtime to remember to children, a little
:02:06. > :02:12.baby girl, a grandmother and an auntie who all died here at this

:02:15. > :02:23.also about supporting those left faint. We are devastated by the loss
:02:24. > :02:26.of our beloved family and their untimely passing has left an
:02:27. > :02:31.unimaginable void in our life forever. On the day her mother,
:02:32. > :02:34.sister, niece and nephews were to be buried, this woman, supported by her
:02:35. > :02:42.uncle, made the difficult decision to speak to the media. Our thoughts
:02:43. > :02:56.and remembrance will be incomplete without mentioning the selfless
:02:57. > :03:00.heroism of my beloved mother. Shabbina Begum. Who went back into
:03:01. > :03:04.the house to try and save and rescue the family she adored. She made the
:03:05. > :03:17.ultimate sacrifice. My beautiful mum, my beautiful little sister, my
:03:18. > :03:23.lovely nephews. And my baby niece. You have gone from our lives but you
:03:24. > :03:32.will never be forgotten. May Allah bless them and grant them a place,

:03:36. > :03:43.grandchildren, nine`year`old Adhyan and Amaan, who was seven, their baby
:03:44. > :03:46.sister Minahil and their aunt, Anum. This morning, the funeral cortege,
:03:47. > :03:59.escorted by the police, passed by the house where they perished.
:04:00. > :04:02.Before making its way to the mosque. Relatives travelled from as far as
:04:03. > :04:10.Pakistan for today's funeral, more than 2,000 mourners packed into the
:04:11. > :04:19.mosque. But the huge support for the family meant hundreds more were left
:04:20. > :04:23.outside. After the funeral, a private burial was held at the City
:04:24. > :04:26.Road Cemetery. The family say they have been overwhelmed by the support
:04:27. > :04:32.they have received and say they will hope one day the pain may ease.
:04:33. > :04:38.Investigations are continuing into the cause of this fire which is not
:04:39. > :04:42.known yet but we do know that it was not suspicious. The family have
:04:43. > :04:46.thanked everybody for their support including offers of money and they
:04:47. > :04:50.state that instead of that, good old donations go to a children's charity

:10:37. > :10:45.this. I was picked on my face. My hand was

:12:30. > :12:36.We're joined now by Lucy and her dad Peter. We saw how bad your injuries

:12:41. > :12:47.Lucy, how are you doing now? I am feeling a lot better. I still

:12:54. > :13:00.everything as calm as possible. It must be a very scary experience.
:13:01. > :13:04.Yes. The whole thing was. But in the start it was mainly then because you
:13:05. > :13:13.didn't know anything. I felt better after speaking to the doctors. What
:13:14. > :13:17.was the worst part for you? All parents dread of this. Getting a
:13:18. > :13:20.call at three o'clock in the morning and that your daughter is going to
:13:21. > :13:25.hospital. You can only think the worst. My wife and I just made a
:13:26. > :13:33.dash for Wakefield and when we got there, there are liquid is coming
:13:34. > :13:40.out of her legs, it was quite nasty. Frightening. Anyway, she went in,
:13:41. > :13:46.she had her legs cleaned up and then she was in agony with the pain from
:13:47. > :13:51.the fire. The next thing we saw her, she was like an Egyptian mummy, she
:13:52. > :13:54.was completely bandaged. Was it a photograph that stirred her back

:14:09. > :14:14.picture down on this particular night. Exactly one week later. And
:14:15. > :14:20.she just burst into laughter. It was kind of a turning point. Only two
:14:21. > :14:24.months ago this accident happened. Why are you deciding to continue
:14:25. > :14:29.with the beauty pageant? It is not based on beauty, it is more if you
:14:30. > :14:32.are charitable and talented and things. Just because I am scarred
:14:33. > :14:40.does not mean I should not be able to do it. I want to put this message
:14:41. > :14:45.across to people. You have just got to keep going and stay positive. You
:14:46. > :14:50.are a very brave lady. Congratulations and good luck in the
:14:51. > :14:57.competition. Where you a dirty stop it? Well, you

:15:31. > :15:34.when two of the early`season frontrunners ` Castleford Tigers and
:15:35. > :15:37.leaders Leeds Rhinos ` meet at the Jungle. The Rhinos have the toughest
:15:38. > :15:41.defence in the competition so far, with just 94 points conceded in the
:15:42. > :15:47.first 11 games. But even their coach is full of admiration for the
:15:48. > :15:52.rejuvenated Tigers. Ever since I have played, this is the best I have
:15:53. > :16:02.seen them. It is the most composed they have looked. It is not down to
:16:03. > :16:06.one man either. This is why you have got to give Darryl a lot of credit.
:16:07. > :16:11.He has got them all playing well. They are all singing from the same

:16:15. > :16:18.it is no surprise. All this week we've been on a road
:16:19. > :16:22.trip around the region ` thankfully on four wheels, not two! ` to see
:16:23. > :16:25.how Yorkshire is preparing for the world's biggest sporting event in

:16:29. > :16:32.France is not just inspiring people to get on their bikes or get fit `
:16:33. > :16:36.it's also breathing new life into scores of community groups who just
:16:37. > :16:42.want to get involved. Ian White joins us now from Holmfirth.
:16:43. > :16:49.Yes, good evening. Forget last of the summer Wine. Holmfirth has
:16:50. > :16:52.become a haven for cyclists. It is not just for people who are
:16:53. > :16:57.interested in cycling, it is people from all over the community.
:16:58. > :17:00.High on the hills and picturesque country, there is something new on
:17:01. > :17:04.the horizon. You cannot fail to realise that the Tour de France is
:17:05. > :17:09.on the way. A giant bicycle can be seen for miles along with letters
:17:10. > :17:16.that are ten feet high. All of these letters are available. We thought we
:17:17. > :17:22.would use the letters to put salutations up. We have had meat
:17:23. > :17:28.pies and drink beer and so on. As you can see, we have got this. The
:17:29. > :17:33.message for the tour is a closely guarded secret, some more elaborate
:17:34. > :17:39.artwork can be seen in other fields around here. Pegs and ribbons have
:17:40. > :17:46.been used to create a ripple effect on the land. You can also see a
:17:47. > :17:51.farmer and his sheepdog. It will take practice. What do you think?
:17:52. > :17:56.Rubbish. In Holmfirth, a charity that works with the elderly is
:17:57. > :18:00.making a giant jersey out of one metre squares. It is a
:18:01. > :18:05.once`in`a`lifetime event and people are realising that they want to be
:18:06. > :18:09.part of that. To be part of the community and be part of showcasing
:18:10. > :18:12.our self to the world, come to Holmfirth, come to Yorkshire, look
:18:13. > :18:16.what we have got and are doing. It is the first tender has been an
:18:17. > :18:25.predator to France so we are showing everybody how good we are. And along
:18:26. > :18:28.the road, a theatre group is rehearsing a bicycle themed play
:18:29. > :18:36.that will be performed over the Tour de France weekend. Do you remember
:18:37. > :18:40.when they did the writ on look North? They struggled. They had to
:18:41. > :18:47.battle the elements, wind, rain, sleet, snow but they managed it
:18:48. > :18:51.against all the odds. There you are. You are even mentioned in that play.
:18:52. > :18:55.Q we are in Holmfirth. Here is the cycling club. You only set up in
:18:56. > :19:03.November but how many members have you already got? 147. It has taken
:19:04. > :19:08.off better than we expected. Is it the Tour de France that is getting
:19:09. > :19:11.people on their bikes? It is something to do with that,
:19:12. > :19:15.definitely, on the back of the Olympics and with the Tour de France
:19:16. > :19:19.coming through. Yes, it is a massive thing obviously for Holmfirth and a
:19:20. > :19:25.number of people we are getting in the club. It is going to be
:19:26. > :19:28.attribute it to that. It must be great more people are wanting to
:19:29. > :19:33.join in your sport. More the merrier. It is fantastic for the
:19:34. > :19:37.sport and people's health. It is great for children. About one third

:20:12. > :20:14.You never know, I may get on my bike.
:20:15. > :20:20.You should. The turnout was incredible there. That little boy
:20:21. > :20:30.that we so came up and had lunch with us.
:20:31. > :20:33.Tomorrow we will be in Harry Gate. It's reckoned to be one of the

:20:41. > :20:43.I had a few memorable nights there in my twenties. Harry, it sounds
:20:44. > :20:45.right up your street. I would go there tonight if it was
