:00:11. > :00:12.finish one ahead of Shane Lowry of Good evening.

:00:13. > :00:18.Rotherham United are celebrating promotion this evening after a

:00:19. > :00:21.dramatic play`off win at Wembley. The Millers came from 2`0 down to

:00:22. > :00:25.secure their place in the Championship on penalties. Tanya

:00:26. > :00:33.joins us now from Wembley. What a day. What a geek. The

:00:34. > :00:38.Rotherham United fans have this season got used to an exciting and

:00:39. > :00:42.attacking style of play but they have also seen a never`say`die

:00:43. > :00:47.attitude and they needed that and much more to the end what was an

:00:48. > :00:53.amazing match. It was never going to be a boring match between these two

:00:54. > :01:03.but it took this wonderful strike to make it 1`02 Leyton Orient. `` 1`0.

:01:04. > :01:11.It did not take them long to equalise. It was a beautiful goal,

:01:12. > :01:21.this shot at getting over the keeper to make two. It remained that way to

:01:22. > :01:26.extra time and so on to penalties. With both sides having scored one

:01:27. > :01:33.penalty each, this shot was saved by the Leyton Orient goalkeeper. Others

:01:34. > :01:41.were restored with this save from the keeper of Rotherham United. But

:01:42. > :01:46.in the end, this penalty save ensured that Rotherham United were

:01:47. > :01:50.promoted to the championship. There were cheers from manager Steve Evans

:01:51. > :01:54.after the game and they were cheers from the fans as well, pray,

:01:55. > :02:04.jubilation and the whole lot of emotion. Absolutely brilliant. 2`0

:02:05. > :02:12.down, what a result. Steve Evans is the man. Quite a few of my friends

:02:13. > :02:25.from Poland have come over for the match today. It was absolutely

:02:26. > :02:29.unbelievable. Can you believe you have achieved back`to`back

:02:30. > :02:35.promotions? We will be heading for the premiership soon! And they will

:02:36. > :02:39.celebrate and party for a good few days, the fans of Rotherham, they

:02:40. > :02:43.will have an open top bus tour at the beginning of the week and then

:02:44. > :02:52.it will be down to business as Steve Evans prepares for life and the

:02:53. > :02:55.championship. A man from Yorkshire with motor

:02:56. > :02:58.neurone disease has begun a 215`mile coast to coast journey in a

:02:59. > :03:01.wheelchair. Roy Taylor from Denby Dale is travelling off`road between

:03:02. > :03:04.Southport and Hornsea to try to highlight how difficult it is for

:03:05. > :03:06.disabled people to enjoy the countryside. Roy spoke to the BBC en

:03:07. > :03:09.route. In September last year I was

:03:10. > :03:12.diagnosed with motor neurone disease. I can hobble a few yards,

:03:13. > :03:17.but I'm effectively wheelchair`bound to all intents and purposes.

:03:18. > :03:19.Suddenly you go from an able`bodied person that loves the outdoors,

:03:20. > :03:22.bird`watching, football, walking, running, to someone sat in a

:03:23. > :03:25.wheelchair and what you discover straightaway is that all the routes

:03:26. > :03:32.and the places that were accessible to you yesterday are not today. Now,

:03:33. > :03:35.this wheelchair, it's as good as you can get, four`wheel drive,

:03:36. > :03:38.four`wheel steer, but a lot of the places you simply cannot get to

:03:39. > :03:43.because you cannot get past kissing gates and stiles and steps like

:03:44. > :03:46.that. The Trans Pennine Trail is reputedly one of the most accessible

:03:47. > :03:50.trails in England, it's 215 miles, coast`to`coast, but what we have

:03:51. > :03:54.found is that there are lots of narrow kissing gates that you cannot

:03:55. > :03:57.get through. You know the A`frames, which are put up to stop motorbikes,

:03:58. > :04:01.some of them I cannot get through, some of them I need a toolkit with

:04:02. > :04:06.me to take the arms of the wheelchair to get through. Lots of

:04:07. > :04:10.obstacles like that, really. It is amazing how much the human spirit

:04:11. > :04:13.adapts, I think, really. Out of my wheelchair, I never thought I would

:04:14. > :04:17.say this, I'm actually happier in my wheelchair than out of it because

:04:18. > :04:21.out of it life is such a struggle, you have to pull yourself up stairs

:04:22. > :04:34.etc. So it has been a profound life change but the wheelchair basically

:04:35. > :04:38.is my freedom. I am sure they will do us proud.

:04:39. > :04:41.Two of our sides were in action in Super League this afternoon.

:04:42. > :04:43.Wakefield lost 36`4 at home to Warrington. Castleford's strong

:04:44. > :04:50.start to the season continued with a 34`22 win against Widnes.

:04:51. > :04:53.In cricket ` the Battle of the Roses has begun at Headingley in the

:04:54. > :04:56.County Championship. Play eventually got underway this afternoon after

:04:57. > :05:02.all the rain. Yorkshire put Lancashire into bat. The visitors

:05:03. > :05:04.reached 87 for 2 at the close. And don't forget today's other

:05:05. > :05:07.results from the European elections. We'll find out tonight who

:05:08. > :05:11.Yorkshire's six MEPs will be. Join us live from the count in Leeds on

:05:12. > :05:15.the late Look North just after ten to eleven.

:05:16. > :05:22.Let's take a look at the weather now.

:05:23. > :05:28.Good evening, we will see some showers continuing for some time

:05:29. > :05:33.this evening but they will dig hobby as we go through the night. We have

:05:34. > :05:36.been met with some clear spells and perhaps patches of mist and fog with

:05:37. > :05:43.temperatures around eight or nine degrees. It should be mostly dry for

:05:44. > :05:47.the morning on Monday but as we head into the afternoon we could see one

:05:48. > :05:52.or two showers picking up in places and they could be heavy.

:05:53. > :05:57.Temperatures reaching a high of 16 or 17 Celsius.

:05:58. > :06:08.Have a lovely evening, joiners at ten to 11. Goodbye. `` join us.

:06:09. > :06:17.Good evening. Some of us had a pretty good soaking. It downpours

:06:18. > :06:22.around with thunder and lightning. It wasn't so bad everywhere. The

:06:23. > :06:28.satellite picture across the Midlands, East Anglia and the south

:06:29. > :06:30.coast, the Isle of Wight. A beautiful end to the day. You can
