:01:09. > :01:14.But it was here at the Leeds General infirmary in his home city that

:01:15. > :01:20.the sheer scale of that abuse was at its worst.

:01:21. > :01:23.It was quite normal to see him around the wards and departlents

:01:24. > :01:27.This unrestricted access gave Jimmy Savile ample opportunhty to

:01:28. > :01:35.indulge in abusive and inappropriate contact with patients and staff

:01:36. > :01:37.The staff treat patients in wards that haven't changdd

:02:35. > :02:37.For me, hospital contains everything I would like at this moment in time.

:02:38. > :02:41.It contains a lot of people, a 24 hour scene,

:02:42. > :02:45.you go to bed because you w`nt to, not because you have to.

:02:46. > :02:51.The people are invariably in bed so they cannot get up and get `t you.

:02:52. > :02:55.Jimmy Savile had unrestrictdd access to the Leeds General Infirm`ry.

:02:56. > :02:57.He had three offices and spent a great deal of thme

:03:01. > :03:04.abusing many of his victims in wards, corridors and offhces

:03:05. > :03:10.He even boasted of interferhng with the dead bodies in the morttary

:03:11. > :03:14.When you are abused by a celebrity, they were intimidated into being

:03:15. > :03:17.quiet, they were frightened and said they were not going to be bdlieved

:03:34. > :03:40.They do not know what their life would have been like without that,

:03:41. > :03:43.but they do know that that has changed their life and their

:03:44. > :03:48.They have to learn to cope with that.

:03:49. > :03:52.For many of Jimmy Savile's victims, his legacy of abuse lives on

:03:53. > :03:54.after suffering harm in a place where they should have been safe.

:03:55. > :04:09.And, what is the NHS trust had to say? They described the findings

:04:10. > :04:14.today at shocking and said they had sympathy for the victims and admit
