:01:26. > :01:29.the use of bodycams on police and, when there is a large number of
:01:30. > :01:34.complaints, officers must explain why these powers are being tsed
:01:35. > :01:36.Much of these changes will be voluntary,
:01:37. > :01:41.There is ample time for parliament to look at this issue
:01:42. > :01:44.and legislate and actually lake sure that this is dealt with properly,
:01:45. > :01:48.We have known about these problems for ye`rs.
:01:49. > :01:53.This has been around for sole time and we need to get a grip of it
:01:54. > :01:55.We are talking about, potentially, more bureaucracy coming in
:01:56. > :01:59.for certain police authorithes with these new changes.
:02:00. > :02:02.And for areas like my patch in North Yorkshire, where we don't sde very
:02:03. > :02:07.much stop and search, then that will mean less police on the strdet.
:02:08. > :02:13.The new scheme is due to be launched in September.
:02:14. > :02:16.Firefighters have rescued a father and son from the River Foss in York.
