:01:01. > :01:03.in Rotherham, and you can get the latest information

:01:04. > :01:10.Meanwhile, in Pontefract, emergency crews have spent

:01:11. > :01:13.the evening clearing water away from the ground floor of The Prince

:01:14. > :01:16.Patients had to be moved to safety when floodwater came in beneath

:01:17. > :01:24.several doors and caused widespread damage to the ground floor.

:01:25. > :01:26.Staff and members of the local community are still cleaning up.

:01:27. > :01:28.The hospice kitchen has been contaminated with floodwater

:01:29. > :01:36.Staff are appealing for help and donations of clean linen.

:01:37. > :01:39.We are quite in need of probably sandbags and anything that can keep

:01:40. > :01:42.the water away from the hospice as the forecast for the weekend is

:01:43. > :01:45.actually going to get worse, so there is the potential that although

:01:46. > :01:47.we have cleaned up some of the water this evening,

:01:48. > :01:50.we will encounter the same problem on Saturday and probably on Sunday,

:01:51. > :01:58.Don't forget, your BBC local radio station will have the latest weather

:02:09. > :02:10.that they've found human remains, 14 years

:02:11. > :02:15.Gemma disappeared in May 2000 after telling

:02:16. > :02:19.a friend she was catching a bus from her home in Harehills to Leeds city

:02:20. > :02:24.Police have recently been conducting enquiries in the vicinity of

:02:25. > :02:30.Formal identification of the remains is yet to take place, but Gemma's

:02:31. > :02:41.20,000 new jobs could be created in Doncaster.

:02:42. > :02:44.The council says it's ahead of schedule building a link road to

:02:45. > :02:48.It's a huge project, costing nearly ?60 million.

:02:49. > :02:50.It'll involve thousands of houses, a distribution centre and better

:02:51. > :02:55.It'll be finished in just over a year, but there are already

:02:56. > :03:03.It will be the big international players looking to provide a hub

:03:04. > :03:06.of logistics at this area but also as the strategic rail freight

:03:07. > :03:08.interchanges develops on, there will be opportunities for all sorts of

:03:09. > :03:14.commerce and industry as part of this development park.

:03:15. > :03:16.A cyclist who died on a dual carriageway in Dronfield

:03:17. > :03:18.has been identified a week after a collision with a car.

:03:19. > :03:21.The family of Malcolm Cottam from Sheffield have confirmed it's him.

:03:22. > :03:24.The police had released an E`FIT of Mr Cottam in the hope

:03:25. > :03:29.On Thursday afternoon last week, he was riding a Carrera bike when he

:03:30. > :03:38.collided with a Citroen on the A61 and suffered fatal head injuries.

:03:39. > :03:41.Scores of childless couples living in the York area have had their

:03:42. > :03:44.hopes of IVF treatment dashed after health officials backtracked on

:03:45. > :03:48.In June, they agreed they would fund one cycle of IVF from this year.

:03:49. > :03:51.But now they've changed their minds, saying they can't afford to pay

:03:52. > :03:55.At the moment York is the only city in England not

:03:56. > :03:57.offering fertility treatment free on the health service.

:03:58. > :04:01.That compares with Leeds, which offers couples one cycle.

:04:02. > :04:03.Couples in South Yorkshire fare slightly

:04:04. > :04:06.better with Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham all offering two, and top

:04:07. > :04:09.of the table is Bassetlaw in North Nottinghamshire, where the NHS will

:04:10. > :04:24.For three years Karen and Peter Boardman's lives have been dominated

:04:25. > :04:31.They don't understand what it is like to have that burning need

:04:32. > :04:39.and desire right in your heart that you want to have a family.

:04:40. > :04:48.And when you marry someone you meet them and you want to create life

:04:49. > :04:52.with them, you are just denied that opportunity and that is absolutely

:04:53. > :04:56.soul destroying. Their first IVF appointment is in

:04:57. > :05:01.two weeks and they were hoping it would be paid for by the NHS.

:05:02. > :05:07.Everything seems to be like a postcode lottery. In June, there

:05:08. > :05:11.commissioning body said they would be A4160 couple but that's changed

:05:12. > :05:19.last night when NHS bosses said they could not afford it. We are not able

:05:20. > :05:25.to fund this at all because we are millions of pounds in the red. I am

:05:26. > :05:29.a family doctor and there will be the likes of grandad who may need

:05:30. > :05:35.his hat replaced, grandma needs services to support her as well, the

:05:36. > :05:37.daughter may have best cancer and be having treatment and then you have

:05:38. > :05:44.the grand daughter who wants to have IVF. I am absolutely shocked, I

:05:45. > :05:49.relate thought there would be something, no matter how small, even

:05:50. > :05:54.if it was just the bare bones, I thought it would be a step forward

:05:55. > :05:59.and I hoped there would be a glimmer of hope and I was waiting yesterday

:06:00. > :06:04.to find out what it was. Yorked does not have an IVF unit saw hundreds

:06:05. > :06:10.come to this unit in Seacroft. They have to be able to pay for the money

:06:11. > :06:15.which could be around ?500,000, most couples need to or three cycles to

:06:16. > :06:20.achieve a pregnancy. The Leeds IVF unit has been inundated with calls

:06:21. > :06:26.from residents and anticipating free treatment. For some, the decision of

:06:27. > :06:29.Jock not to find at least one cycle means IVF will be impossible, others

:06:30. > :06:50.will find a way to pay. After the bad weather today, you

:06:51. > :06:53.will be pleased that tomorrow is going to be a better day,

:06:54. > :07:06.unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Sunday! To make it well

:07:07. > :07:10.however Campbell and a little bit with temperatures around 14 Celsius.

:07:11. > :07:18.`` tonight. On Saturday morning there could be one or two isolated

:07:19. > :07:24.showers but generally fine and dry. Temperatures will lift to 20 or 21

:07:25. > :07:29.Celsius. Some heavy rain for Sunday and it will be windy overnight into

:07:30. > :07:37.Monday and unsettled next week. Here is the summary. Good night.

:07:38. > :07:44.Good evening. We saw some torrential thunderstorms earlier today.

:07:45. > :07:47.Tomorrow looks like a better day for most places. It will go downhill

:07:48. > :07:52.into Sunday. This is heading our way. This is a couple of day's worth

:07:53. > :07:53.of satellite imagery. This is what was the
