:00:21. > :00:24.He says it's to promote peace and show solidarity with those

:00:25. > :00:26.suffering, particularly in the Middle East.

:00:27. > :00:31.For the next seven days, the Archbishop of York will survive

:00:32. > :00:35.He will pray in York Minster every every hour throughout the day,

:00:36. > :00:37.surrounded by objects which represent different faiths.

:00:38. > :00:49.People are cheapening life, so I wanted to say, please can we have

:00:50. > :00:55.It is not first time he has given himself a challenge to

:00:56. > :01:01.In the past he has jumped out of a plane and camped in York Minster.

:01:02. > :01:06.The Archbishop is using fasting and prayer to express his need

:01:07. > :01:11.He wants other people to join in too, by showing a white cloth

:01:12. > :01:17.He got the idea for that from an unlikely source.

:01:18. > :01:20.When we had the Tour de France here, it was quite amazing

:01:21. > :01:26.So there is something that can actually happen, that my neighbour

:01:27. > :01:31.is for peace, that I can trust them, that I can have hope and courage.

:01:32. > :01:34.But do the people visiting the Minster today think it will do

:01:35. > :01:40.It will probably make people aware, the fact that that is being

:01:41. > :01:43.In the days of modern media, it attracts attention

:01:44. > :01:48.No one doubts that world peace is a big ask.

:01:49. > :01:52.But the Archbishop's faith in his religion and in people is

:01:53. > :02:02.West Yorkshire Police are appealing for a man who's believed to have

:02:03. > :02:04.been involved in a fatal assault in Leeds to come forward.

:02:05. > :02:09.37`year`old Gerard Adeshida died this morning after the incident

:02:10. > :02:12.Police believe he and his brother were involved in

:02:13. > :02:16.a dispute with the driver of a grey Vauxhall Corsa yesterday evening.

:02:17. > :02:19.Mr Adeshida fell backwards and suffered a head injury.

:02:20. > :02:23.Police want the car driver, and any other witnesses, to contact them.
