:22:10. > :22:13.what you think she got out of it? Me personally, I've gained some great
:22:14. > :22:17.knowledge and some great experience. I think I've made so many friends.
:22:18. > :22:22.I've learned so much about other cultures and people in Huddersfield
:22:23. > :22:25.that I never knew. That is all thanks to Steve and hopefully Steve
:22:26. > :22:29.is going to be a friend for a long time. A lot of the children and
:22:30. > :22:33.young people in my Carnival group do not always get the opportunity to do
:22:34. > :22:38.such amazing things and a lot of them were like, cameras, no but to
:22:39. > :22:42.see them on the day giving their all was incredible. An amazing
:22:43. > :22:47.opportunity for everybody involved. Absolutely. I think it is smashing.
:22:48. > :22:51.Steve what you have done with everybody is amazing. I could not
:22:52. > :22:56.have done it without the likes of the groups involved and it was a
:22:57. > :22:58.true collaboration. We will have to leave it there but thank you very
:22:59. > :22:58.much. Our Dancing Town starts
:22:59. > :23:02.on Tuesday on BBC Two at 9pm. It's in Barnsley, then Skipton,
:23:03. > :23:04.Huddersfield and York. Next tonight to the man who's
:23:05. > :23:06.been called Britain's Steve Bloom actually charges
:23:07. > :23:09.customers fifty pence to browse in his second-hand
:23:10. > :23:11.book store in Hawes. Mr Bloom - who admits he's "not
:23:12. > :23:14.a people's person" - has been the subject of more than 20
:23:15. > :23:17.complaints to the parish council. But is he simply
:23:18. > :23:30.taking a brave stand? A charming market town nestled in
:23:31. > :23:33.the Yorkshire Dales. It is not supposed to court controversy but
:23:34. > :23:37.beyond these doors is a book shop and browsers are in for a surprise.
:23:38. > :23:44.Have you bought anything here before? No, we came here about five
:23:45. > :23:50.years ago. OK, I will tell you how it works. It is 50p to come in,
:23:51. > :23:54.between you, not each. If you buy something, you get it back. Not
:23:55. > :24:01.everybody likes it and certain words have been changed which you will not
:24:02. > :24:06.find in any of these books. It is my little world. I am comfortable with
:24:07. > :24:10.thinking that people come in and appreciated. I do feel it is my
:24:11. > :24:16.right. People say to me, you should not be doing this. Well, you get
:24:17. > :24:23.charged for all sorrows of things, a big fear, a craft fair, a car park.
:24:24. > :24:27.-- allsorts of things. It is not so ridiculous as people say it is. If
:24:28. > :24:33.you want to charge people, fair enough, but it is the way you treat
:24:34. > :24:39.people in that time. It is his shop, you can do. We are getting used to
:24:40. > :24:42.that round here. To go into a book shop, I do not think I would be
:24:43. > :24:48.interested to pay 50p and then come up with nothing. -- out with
:24:49. > :24:53.nothing. The parish council says it is embarrassed. It has received
:24:54. > :24:57.complaints. He charges people to go into his shop 50p when people who
:24:58. > :25:03.are unaware of the charge are challenged by him to pay it, he then
:25:04. > :25:09.sets off in being rude and offensive. It spreads like wildfire.
:25:10. > :25:14.The damage to our reputation in the wider world is quite considerable.
:25:15. > :25:19.There comes a time when enough is enough. The building were Steve's
:25:20. > :25:23.shop is based is run by trustees. They say his management style does
:25:24. > :25:27.not constitute a public nuisance. There are lawyers have told them so.
:25:28. > :25:35.In the meantime, Steve has agreed to put up a sign which tells customers
:25:36. > :25:39.what to expect. I can see giving Hudson ideals with that one. He will
:25:40. > :25:42.charge you to come to work next week.
:25:43. > :25:49.The weekend does not look too bad at all. A lot of dry weather about and
:25:50. > :25:54.cloudy at times, especially on Sunday. Let's look at the pressure
:25:55. > :25:59.chart. High pressure dominating throughout the weekend. A rather
:26:00. > :26:03.cloudy high. A lot of dry and settled weather. Drizzle for the
:26:04. > :26:08.hills but also a lot of cloudy weather. A lot of cloud today but
:26:09. > :26:12.also a lot of rain. The main body of rain has cleared into the north sea
:26:13. > :26:17.but it has left behind damp and drizzly conditions which will remain
:26:18. > :26:21.overnight. Hail fog and poor visibility in places as well. Most
:26:22. > :26:28.places will be dry by the end of the night. Drizzle on the hills. A cold
:26:29. > :26:34.night with temperatures out in the countryside around two or three
:26:35. > :26:39.Celsius. The sun will rise in the morning at 17 minutes past eight and
:26:40. > :26:45.setting just before four o'clock. We will start the day with a lot of
:26:46. > :26:50.cloud and mist. Some fog and damp drizzly conditions over the house,
:26:51. > :26:54.which might remain longest of the Peak District. Some sunny and bright
:26:55. > :27:00.spells down from the north. Parts of north Yorkshire will get some decent
:27:01. > :27:06.spells of sunshine tomorrow. McLeod but certainly not too bad tomorrow.
:27:07. > :27:10.-- more cloud. Light from the north-west. Temperatures up to seven
:27:11. > :27:16.or eight Celsius. Looking further ahead into Sunday, everyone will
:27:17. > :27:21.have more cloud on Sunday. A fairly cloudy story and drizzle for the
:27:22. > :27:27.hills in the west. Not very much in the way of sunshine on Sunday.
:27:28. > :27:31.Feeling chilly by day. On Monday, outbreaks of rain and blustery
:27:32. > :27:34.conditions, too. Sunshine and showers and it will feel cooler in
:27:35. > :27:41.the afternoon. Good weather for the weekend. That is it from us. Enjoy
:27:42. > :27:42.your weekend. We're back at ten o'clock with the late news. Good
:27:43. > :27:52.night. Panorama investigates
:27:53. > :27:58.the deadly terrorist attack and should British tourists
:27:59. > :28:02.have been warned about the risks?
